Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff, rooms, food, and experiences were fabulous and once in a lifetime! You must stay here. It will NOT disappoint! ||The Hide, the animals!!! The vistas are breathtaking. ||You are greeted with a refreshment upon arrival and cared for the entire stay. The front desk staff of Phyllis and Douglas were informative and helpful in coordinating plans and day trips. ||The food was phenomenal! Head Chef Fanual made us feel at home. He tailored meals to our dietary preferences/portions and made my husband Kenyagi chicken on request. The food was delicious and the presentation beautiful at every meal. ||Our server Donald and bartender Duncan made every effort to make each meal satisfying and took excellent care of us. ||I highly recommend a massage and body scrub with Rosebella on your balcony. You rinse off in your outdoor shower and the experience so invigorating. Both myself and my husband enjoyed it thoroughly. ||Our drivers Honest and Derek, were amazing and available at a drop of a hat to meet our every desire, including rushing to The Hide to see the elephants. These guys are truly amazing human beings, love nature and really made us feel like family. ||We did sunrise, sun downing, and night game drives. We hiked the Taitita Hills. As Americans, the hike is hard, but the scenery is amazing. We were lucky to not have fog covering the top view.||Enoch was our room steward and he refreshed the room each day and completed turn down service each night. He even offered a hot water bottle for bed and trust me this felt amazing when coming back from a night safari!||All of the staff care about the tourists and work hard to make each stay enjoyable and unique to your preferences. We will definitely be back.||Rooms are beautiful. They are focused on the beauty of nature surrounding the area. Seated in the top of Lions Bluff, you enjoy panoramic vistas from your room. Indoor and outdoor showers. Efforts are made to conserve water and provide luxury without compromising integrity of nature. Minibar, safe, dressing room in each space. Some lodges are 2 levels. There is a variable distance of walking from the main lodge/front desk and restaurant/pool to your rooms. We stayed halfway. Have to be able-bodied to stay here. Your drivers will often coordinate to pick you up closer to your lodge for safaris!
