Sorrento Beach Motel

Had a very pleasant stay here. |The rooms were clean and well set out. A little sink and kitchen area meant we could sort out basic food for ourselves. The bathroom was huge and much more modern than I'd expected. Being able to sit out on the chairs in front of the room was a perfect spot for breakfast. |The whole motel has a nautical theme with decorations here and there, not too over the top, and a nice reminder of the proximity of the ocean.| It's a short drive to town or to the beach, an excellent location. Customer service was warm and friendly and informative. |Would stay here again.

We are three couples travelling together. We were all very happy with our three rooms side by side. There was enough room on the porch in front of our rooms to put all our chairs so we could sit and chat. The main strip is an easy 10-15 minute walk. The rooms were a good size so I would have been happy staying a number of nights. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The weather was cold so the modern aircon and the electric blankets were appreciated.

Our one-night stay in February 2025 was pleasant. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is just a two-minute drive from the town centre. The only small issue was that the single beds' sheets felt slightly grainy under the blankets (the double bed was fine). We only noticed this at bedtime, and since reception was already closed, we decided the beds were fine to sleep in. This is just an observation meant as gentle and constructive feedback. Overall, this motel offers great value for money, and I would recommend it.

We spend short time in this place, since arrival a friendly welcome at arrival. this motel nice and clean.....but the most beautiful issue with the management is a trusty... my wife forgo her hand back, money and jewelry inside. we call them and they kept it for us ... you do not believe how match my wife was happy to get back her jewelry and money.... thanks for the Motel management Akram and Rulaa 19 05 2025

Basic motel with no views. A few minutes drive to shops and areas of interest. Their website wanted just under a thousand dollars for three nights after their fees etc were tacked on. I went through Booking.com and got it for just over half that - see photos. Photos on website do not resemble the room or the property location. But, room was clean and the bed was ok.

The Manager could not be more helpful. He is efficient, understanding, flexible and astute. His wife is also patient and kind.||My room was very clean and I appreciated the breakfast. It was good to have good interior lights and excellent curtains that blocked out the sun.||The Motel cleaning staff were absolute gems!

We booked at the Sorrento Hotel as we had previously stayed at the Continental which was just ok so maybe a change would be an improvement.|How wrong you can be.|The room we booked was a “suite”.|It to our knowledge was not.|It was small.|A bed ,a couch and a bathroom.|That’s it, with an enormous TV with Fox installed. Too big for room.|The room had power blinds….nice except on both windows that faced the sun both blinds were either open or closed.|No separate operation.|A sliding door took you out to a terrace for a view over the bay but the doorway had no insect screen and internally there was no other opening to get fresh air.|The bed had a doona……that’s it. There was no alternative blanket that we could find. Temperature overnight was 15 degrees.|There is no bathroom door. You look straight in from bed.|The mirror in bathroom had one light. It was useless for women to use.|Before bed we had a cup of tea each and ate a small chocolate bar from mini bar. $8.00 for that.|The cost of this room for one night……..$500.00!

Amazing spot with breathtaking views of the ocean! You'll love sipping on delicious cocktails at the rooftop bar while watching the sun go down. The downstairs bar is just as fantastic for a lovely dinner and some drinks!
