Food is very very overpriced for the quantity and poor quality. Venue is nice and big, staff are friendly (even though I had sauce dropped on my shirt and pants when collecting the plates - the waiter offered to clean it for me which was nice), but too expensive and not worth it in my opinion. I've added prices to the pictures posted. We were also told we cannot take drinks into the large main outdoor area as they didn't have a license for alcohol there. That was concerning considering its called a 'brewhouse'. The food also took just short of an hour to come out and it wasn't that busy.

Very nice place for a casual breakfast. People where very frendly. It's only new so expect some teething problems but all where willing to help fix small problems. Had a great time.

1 star only because I can’t give zero stars. The worst meal ever. Paid $16 for a very average milk shake. Pizza had an undercooked flat bread base. Burger had no sauce and lacked taste. Don’t know how you can get it so wrong. No wonder we were the only people there, should have read the other reviews before we went. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is sad.

Nice open space that is dog friendly, food was very overpriced for what we received though (looks good in the pic, but was plain) and compared to the competition in the area. Huge potential moving forward and hopefully it was just a one off quality-wise.

Burgers were pretty basic with not so fresh bread. forced to buy batter covered fries which were too oily. Highly over priced for burgers which are served in a paper box.

4 prawns do not make a "To Share" platter. The deck is great.

I am not one to write poor reviews, or reviews in general but I was bitterly disappointed in the service provided. As those have mentioned, fantastic set up but that’s is where it ended for me. We should have picked up on it straight away, as it was in the peak of summer, with all other cafes and restaurants surrounding full with customers, to here only a handful of people. I ordered the battered fish with salad for $28. Politely asked if I could switch the salad for some chips, the reply from the manager was like I had said something outrageous and with a sarcastic tone ‘No, we don’t do that here’. Then you have to go up to receive the meal from the counter. Sat down and looked at it, the salad was a reach. Some rocket leaves, three cherry tomato halves, and a slice of lemon... then had to go back up as they didn’t provide dressing to make it edible. Overall for 2 meals and 2 drinks, $75 was well and truly not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere in Sorrento. The beer tap battled.

A beautiful place, with nice outdoor area. Disappointing. Way overpriced. Low effort cooking and no service - you collect your own food from the kitchen. I love calamari so ordered that, it was the worst calamari I've tried - plain, soggy and greasy, what a combo. Also came with an Asian salad which was grated onion, carrot & cucumber. A quarter a lemon but no sauce. My companion who doesn't eat fish ordered pizza only to find they didn't turn the pizza oven on that day... okay... so ordered the burger. The menu description didn't include what kind of burger meat it was, so naturally you'd assume it was beef right? It was lamb. That should be mentioned on the menu. We should have asked for a refund. It was the most expensive and also the worst restaurant food during my 2 weeks in Melbourne. To the manager: you could avoid disappointed guests if you made your service and food reflect the prices on your menu. If you're going to cut corners you need to cut the price too. I noticed other guests leaving near full plates behind and sending stuff back to the kitchen to be cooked longer so this isn't an isolated complaint.
