The food was delicious! The atmosphere is relax and sophisticated and the service is great and friendly! I’m vegetarian and they adjust the dish for me. Omg, this is the restaurant for recommendations! I loved everything! Don’t get fooled by the 3,9 stars, it’s worth a visit!

My husband and I had dinner at Søstrene in Solsiden last Wednesday while passing through Trondheim on our way further north, and it ended up being the highlight of our brief stay. We visited several restaurants during our trip, but Søstrene was by far the standout. The food was genuinely excellentt fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented and the wine was also great ! The warm, relaxed atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is spotless and stylish, with a lovely view over the fjord that gives the place something extra. A big thank-you to the staff for making us feel so welcome, especially our Greek waitress, whose friendly attitude and positive energy really elevated the evening. We would absolutely recommend Søstrene to anyone visiting Trondheim. A memorable experience from start to finish. 10/10!

Fantastic Norwegian food. The reindeer was delicious.

I think was maybe here 15 years ago not really sure lol tasty burger assume I got back don't remember... then had cool glass inside with glass overhead patio stuff looks a wee bit different now so perhaps not same place?

We were here just for drinks and had a very good time. The drinks were good (If you are looking for something non alcoholic, recommend the alcohol free Mojito) the bar is nicely decorated, but what really stood out was the very friendly staff.

Nice ambience with decent food and music is not so loud that one cannot talk 👍

Environment is spacious and cozy; food is yummy, loved the blue shells; staff are super friendly. I’ve been here a couple of times, never disappointed 😊💕
