Sotero Hotel

It was not possible to get drinkable water when we arrived. They should provide filtered water at leastat at the reception. The service in the hotel is wery poor during the day. The restaurant is closed after breakfast, it serves only the breakfast. Not supermarkets neither restaurants around. You have to take an Uber and go to a shopping centrum. Hotel room was nice. The gym is super old, almost not usable. I will not return here.

I spend 11 days at this hotel, and probably will never go there again, housekeepers are very loud early morning, I complain about it and nothing was changed, I asked to change the room the receptionist said they don’t change rooms, to have a clean room you have to request, location is good but not worth the price, breakfast is a lot food but nothing taste right. No salt and no sugar add, weird taste, the only thing I could eat was the fruits. I don’t|Recommend, Salvador is a beautiful city and have amazing hotels.

Typical business hotel. Spacious rooms and friendly service. Don’t expect that they speak an other language than Portuguese. I was satisfied with the breakfast. Every day they have some diversity. Nothing outstanding but good.

Our last night in Bahía coming fro Morrè de São Paulo we stayed at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a very nice breakfast with many choices. The gym is on the top flood overlooking the pool and the city. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

I’m positive that many good reviews of this place are fake. Horrible wifi, incredibly rude management, room safe was broken, breakfast was gross and cheap, and my in-laws got stuck on the broken elevator for 40 minutes after it dropped SIX floors like a rollercoaster. They couldn’t get ahold of management because it was the manager’s day off, and the hotel staff handled the issue with zero urgency. Our door lock was broken and they wouldn’t move our rooms. Absolutely despicable. In all of my experience traveling, I have never ever encountered such a horrible hotel with lazy and arrogant staff.

Much improvements to do. The coffee, the pillow, the iron not works at all, the plug only one works. And the most important, WiFi is not stable .

I have stayed here over fifty times, and have lost count how many times I have complained about two simple things: 1) noisy air conditioning; and 2) scrambled egg soup.||It seems like no one really cares about guest feedback. We have spoken to the employees, general manager and even sent an email to the owner. No resolution.||The split Carrier air conditioner is so noisy I need 3M ear plugs to sleep.||I have uploaded a picture of the scrambled egg soup. Had to eat boiled eggs today.||Other than those two things the hotel is great and the employees super friendly.

the hotel is very well located in safe area of salvador, 15 minutes driving to the airport, the room is very large, no coffee/ tea set in the room (probably this is the standard of brazil), the safe in the room didn't work and the receptionist had no answer for that, the staff doesn't speak english, breakfast is fairly good.
