Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong

Prime location , can easily walk out to other places of attraction and bus stops and not too far from the subway. The line character theme in the hotel is also very cute . Room soundproofing is poor. Did not experience the dirty toilet as mentioned previously before ( was a major concern for me ) . Friendly staff when asked for taxi to airport at odd hours. Overall - Satisfactory stay

Convenient location. Nice staff. The "latex" room 5th floor means a mattress on a platform- more Korean style- no chairs in room. Shower in that room was great with a large bathtub. I moved to the 15th floor for the next two nights because it was more convenient when my friend arrived from the USA. Bathroom wasn't as nice but we had a desk with a chair and a bench- with beds that were more USA style. We did not eat the breakfast or use gym, but both are options. Nice coffee shop/restaurant in lobby. I would stay here again.

The room was a good size and the bathroom was well equipped. The laundry facilities were fantastic; plenty of large capacity washers and dryers available. The location was good, within a 10 minute walk of metro stations and plenty of useful bus stops. The soundproofing between rooms was incredibly poor, which meant we often had a bad sleep due to other guests being noisy.

The hotel is located within a small alley. Overall, the hotel is clean and well-equipped. However, the rooms are quite small, and the bathroom lacks a door, which might be inconvenient if you’re traveling with friends or companions who are not a couple. The breakfast offers a variety of options and tastes great. Also., the staff are very nice.

Love love love our stay with Sotetsu! Booked the Executive Twin room as we're a family of 3 and in all honesty zero regrets! Apart from the 10min walk from City Hall station as we had a stroller with us. Pretty sure its a shorter walk from another exit. Love that its close to Namdaemun market too! Lots of street shopping and food to explore. Hotel staffs were excellent! Check in and check out was swift! Thank you team for the amazing stay. I'd give 5☆

we took the airport limousine bus, and alighted at namdaemun market station along route 6015 (myeongdong). from there, we had to cross the road and walk up a tiny slope to get to the hotel. this could be done by crossing the underpass (stairs only), or walk a little further to the traffic light close to shinsegae duty free. however, the airport limousine back to incheon airport was more accessible, as the bus stop is right at the foot of the slope. the hotel was nice, although there could be a wider selection of meat options at the breakfast buffet. otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Kids loved the ball pit and were entertained every night. Beds were comfortable and the cushions were cuddly. Fridge was cute and room was big enough for us.However, there was one downside. My elder daughter's feet was hurt by the wooden chip in the bathroom ( we forgot to feedback to the hotel).

I love this hotel. So much spacious than Sotetsu Fresa Inn Myeongdong although need to walk up the slope when coming back from train station. I take it as an exercise and would definitely come back again. It's about 7 mins walk to Myeongdong street shopping area. It's the room spaciousness that I love.
