I just came back from traveling in Italy and this place rivals the restaurants I ate at in Rome and Sardinia! The best Italian food I’ve had in New York so far after 3 years living here. I had a special ravioli with burrata inside and a Gorgonzola sauce with poached pears. So unique and incredible. The service was very friendly and authentic. I don’t live close by but I will be making a special trip back out specifically to eat here!!

My sister and I are regulars here. This is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in Brooklyn! We’ve tried many different dishes on the menu, and each one has been phenomenal! And, make sure you try their delicious homemade desserts!! Not only is the food amazing, but the ambience and service are bar none. This restaurant has the best manager there is! He always makes us feel right at home and his energy is contagious. He is so warm and welcoming and ensures that you have the best dining experience. We’d eat here daily if we could!

This is my favorite meal I’ve ever had in NYC. We selected this restaurant purely based on a craving for pasta and the fact that we could have our dog outdoors with us. It was the GREATEST decision we ever made. The service was authentic, genuine and we shared a true human connection throughout our lunch with the GM. The food was incredible. We ate every single bite! The artichoke appetizer was so fresh and flavorful. He shared their “magic sauce” with us with bread and it was impossible to stop eating it. I had the penne alla vodka which I will forever dream about. My husband had a homemade pasta with sausage, mushrooms and a cream sauce. We were totally blown away by the flavors and quality of the ingredients. The tiramisu was like eating a literal cloud, so light and fluffy! I can’t say enough nice things about SottoVoce. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner! I’ll be back every time we come to New York.

This was my second time frequenting this establishment and it didn't disappoint. I fell in love on my first visit with the calamari and zucchini fries and had to have them again... amaziiiiiiing!! We had a delicious spread...

Amazing customer service, fantastic food, and a great location for people watching (if you sit outside). I'm not sure if he was the owner or a manager, but our server was one of the nicest people I've ever met, with a genuine excitement to share his happiness of the food with us. When he found out my companion and I are in the restaurant industry, he brought us a tiramisu (one of the best Ive ever had) to enjoy before work. Try the eggplant rollatini, house made lasagne, and if available that day, the cheese "purses." I'm so happy this is in my neighborhood, I look forward to bringing more friends to check out this local gem.

On vacation in NYC, we passed through Brooklyn. The food here is particularly delicious: special mention for the lasagna and the slice of apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. If you want to taste Italian cuisine this restaurant is a must. Thank you for your kindness and your smile!

Simply Superb! The food is downright delicious. Take one bite and be transported to a traditional Italian home cooked meal in Nonna's kitchen. Although there were only 2 people serving all tables during our visit, the service was warm and friendly. The bread is fresh, crispy toasted crust, soft and delicate inside, served with a delicate sweet tomato sauce mixed with herbs and olive oil. Must try - the tastiest bruschetta. Calamaris - fresh, cooked to perfection and served with fried zucchini. The vodka sauce and pasta was one of the best I have savored. Also recommend the pesto sauce. The Tiramisu, very delicious, is worth mentioning -- a good portion to share if you are full from your meal but still have space for some sweets. SottoVoce exceeded my expectations for a NY Italian restaurant. You'll be glad you visited.

I love SotoVoce!! We had my daughter’s bridal shower here. They treated us like family, attending to every little detail💕 I am sure to visit SottoVoce every time I am in Brooklyn! Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Sotto Voce last night! The staff were very friendly and made sure we knew about all their nightly specials. The food was spectacular from the appetizers and salad to amazing entrees and of course dessert! We enjoyed a few bottles of wine and lemon cello shots on the house for my birthday. Great place for a special occasion or just a great dinner out. My daughter lives across the street and I will definitely be back when I’m visiting Brooklyn.

Ridiculous anyone could rate this below a minimum 4 star dining establishment. Perhaps those who chosen to have a proclivity for Olive Garden as their diminutive standard. On food quality, authenticity, value & service Sotto Voce is among the top tier Italian restaurants across the entire globe. I dine out (sit down full service dining) between domestically & internationally at minimum 80 times annually. I can state few restaurants, particularly Italian can cut anywhere near the execution of perfection so consistency, effortlessly & bountifully. Sotto Voce is a masterful example of love & purity being the primary element to epicurean ecstasy. At its core is an unpretentious homage in pride of personal Italian fare connected to a generational wealth of purity where gratitude of parents and their children were witness to grandparents and great grandparents in a circular motion through space and time. This is where the menu starts. Artisanal style bread, pasta cooked to perfection, ingredients so fresh you wonder is there a garden connected to the kitchen. If only the world of restauranteurs understood what baked clams are supposed to represent & taste like (fresh, aromatic, gentle harmonious zest) it's truly amazing how delicious. The waitstaff (Sophia) goes through the specials in a proud & uber specific detail and upon arrival of any of the always fresh delicious plates offered you immediately upon that dishes appearance and your very first taste gain a sense of astonishment at how accurate the description of the dish was and authentic to its promotion. Plate portions are, how would I describe it, almost Goldilocks in that you have enough to satisfy until your dining partners start stealing from each other repeatedly saying omg that's so good and wanting to order yet more of the same dishes. I admit having caved and in addition to a few repeats we had them keep bringing out different outstanding dishes which included linguine al Pescatore with clams, mussels, shrimp & calamari in a white wine sauce and spicy tomato. Impossible to describe how awesome & delicious this dish was, phenomenal would be an understatement The gnocchi homemade to its core is an organism waiting to happen. Truly you'd have to luck out even in Italy to find its equivalent, mind blowing might best describe the flavor profile and taste to your senses. There's a unique nuance here thats at work I fundamentally find attractive. These folks want to feed you their families history, heritage and their own simple romance of a perfusion of emotions born into at birth with its emotional umbilical cord forever attached to Nonna. Can't wait to go back. I already know I have to. I may find a few between now & never that will bring the appreciation I expect and genuinely must have on occasion to avoid becoming a cynic to food & dining. I am so grateful to what this restaurant represents and excited to return in the near future.

This was a private party given for 65(!) people in a very small place. That is really the family's doing. That being said, it is an elegant little place with phenomenal food and ambiance. The biggest kudos are for the owner and the staff. It was like watching a ballet as the wait staff patiently maneuvered between all the tables squashed together. They also worked with smiles and great patience for more than four hours. Bravo, Sotto Voce! (I live upstate, but when I visit Brooklyn, I'm making sure I go there again.)

The food isssss good!!!! Like i tried calling them back to tell them omg !!! Like i literally want to walk back n order something else ! Mom got shrimp parm and i got meatballs and spaghetti

I have passed by this place so many times since it is so close to my work place but we never had the chance to stop by until a random Friday - my coworkers and I decided to stop by for lunch. They have both outdoor and indoor seating - very cozy vibes. We got here exactly when they open and we were allowed to sit wherever we wanted and they gave us a menu with the specials as well. Unsure if it is just because we went for lunch - there was only one waiter working so we did have a bit of a wait to order / pay but he was extremely friendly and nice. For food - we decided to do family style and I am so glad we did -Burrata: Very good and fresh but you really cannot go wrong with burrata -Garlic Bread: Amazing, the bread was so crispy and the flavoring was perfect -Calamari: Also delicious, they also put in fried zucchini which I thought was unique -Penne alla vodka with shrimp: The shrimp was so tender and the flavors were amazing -Fettuccine Gamberetti: Also delicious, great if you are a fan of sea food, the noodles were cooked to perfection -Chicken Param with spaghetti: The chicken parm was a huge favorite amongst all my coworkers so highly recommend this dish -Succhettini: Absolutely delicious, if this is on the special menu you must get this, perfectly creamy and fresh (they are almost like little creamy dumplings) -Apple Pie + Cinnamon gelato: If you are a fan of apple pie, get this -Creme Brulee: Another table favorite, highly recommend this -Chocolate Souffle Cake: The cake was actually flourless but was really delicious despite that -tiramisu: Not my favorite so would pass on this -cannoli: Also very tasty but I liked the other desserts more Overall - we were shocked at how tasty everything was. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant especially if you are in Park Slope.

This is a very popular place, but it is crowded and noisy. Although the 4 of us had a reservation, they put us in a suboptimal table next to the front door which was noisily slamming closed throughout the meal each time a person entered or exited. This is something Management is no doubt aware of and should solve with a proper door closure, and/or putting rubber on the frame to stop the slamming. It was very distracting. The food was average at best and the service was OK, not great. Recommend finding a different place.

Went here for lunch very recently on a weekend and was very impressed by everything! The menu had a couple of very extensive - the list of specials was long enough to be a menu of its own, and the food on offer felt very Italy Italian, not American Italian, so there were some very interesting dishes to try. We got pastas - pappardelle with sausage in brandy cream sauce and rotini with salmon, and both were delicious and hearty. Service was friendly and passionate - it felt like you were really walking into someone's family restaurant.

We always have a great time at Sotto Voce. Food and drink and ambience all lovely. Coming to eat here feels like being welcomed into family. So lucky to have this long time neighborhood favorite!

I have been living and eating in Brooklyn for 70 years. I have eaten my way through: Coney Island, Brighton beach, sheepshead bay, gravesend, midwood, ditmas park, Windsor terrace, park slope, Carroll gardens, Brooklyn heights and bay ridge. There is one restaurant that I constantly go back to: Sotto Vice. Everything about the he place shouts fantastic. The decor is fabulous and inviting, great staff, big pour drinks, attention to details. Great customer relations, and most of all the food is great. I have been coming here for 26 years and always had a delicious and enjoyable meal. Courses served as ordered, all appetizers at once , all entrees at once. Incredible specials. All around a great restaurant 6 stars!

Great Italian place in a neighborhood crawling with Italian restaurants. Every time I come to Soto Voce, I wonder why I waited so long to go back. Food is always excellent, with really great housemade pasta, and service makes you feel like a regular each time you walk through the door. Don't fill up on the bread, even though it's fantastic!

Just had the most amazing Birthday dinner . Perfection from start to finish. Everything was fresh made on the spot. Food came out hot, tasty . The service was top notch. The vibe made me feel like i was in an italian grandma home. Cozy, family spot.We have not been here for a few years. Couldn't be happier that we came back. Looking forward to another night here.

Customer service and pasta is phenomenal. Came with my family to celebrate my uncles 80th birthday. All of the flavors, ingredients, textures reminded me of Italy. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.

Every few years (it has been many many years) my friends take me back to this restaurant and the food just keeps getting better! I haven't lived in Park Slope for 10 years but remember when there weren't a lot of good restaurants there. This one has always been a fave. Love the bruschetta for an appetizer! I notice that the bad reviews are for takeout. Don't get takeout. Eat in, relax and let them fees you. If you don't like the lasagna you ordered, they will fix you right up.

I ate here by myself on a Sunday night. Dining solo can be tricky, especially for relatively young or relatively old (me) women, but I felt completely comfortable throughout. I ordered an artichoke heart appetizer that was delicious, and a main course of linguine with frutti di mare, which was even better. I had meant to take some of both home for later but they were so good I ate all of both dishes, which I regretted later. Too full! Especially since I also had a complimentary lemon sorbet and excellent decaf coffee. Truly the best meal I've had in years! The restaurant is quite spacious, more so because it was less than half full. The decor is comfortable, as are the staff at all levels. Good for a special occasion or, like for me, just a treat for no reason.

Let's begin with WOW! Friday night, party of 6, no reservations! They accommodated us with urgency and smiles! Our young server narrated 8 different, delicious specials in detail, by memory! Her and her team were friendly and efficient. I wanted extra bread with the Burrata, it was there before I finished my existing piece! We all ordered different items from Lamb shank (meat just falling off the bone, so tender), Tonne en Crosta (cooked perfectly) and my dish Vitello Picata (cut it a fork, perfect). Just arriving from California, looking for that cozy, Brooklyn neighborhood restaurant, this place was perfect! Even the manger checked in with us a number of times as if we were good friends! From cocktails to desserts this place was on point! Highly recommend it!

So hospitable, delicious food and nice homey cute decor! I don't like sweets but had to give them a try when I heard everything was home made. I am so glad we decided to order the Tiramisu and GF polenta chocolate soufflé- they were out of this world! I cannot wait to return to SottoVoce, hats off to you

This is a nice neighborhood spot for brunch. Sadly the French toast dish was not available when we visited early August. They have a package for about $28 that includes an entree and unlimited drinks. I ordered a non-alcoholic Bloody Mary that was fine, but I really enjoyed the orange juice they served. I ordered the eggs benedict, and the hollandaise sauce was one of the best I have ever had! That itself stood out to me. The team there was very lovely and nice, and there is a cute outdoor setup. We sat inside due to the heat.

Great neighborhood spot. The selection of wine is excellent. We started w burrata special. It was served over delicious garlic bread n tomatoes, the tomatoes were not good, it's was not ripe, it was crunchy tasted like cucumber. But the burrata was perfect. Chewy outside n creamy inside. I had the papardelle (special ) on creamy sauce n sausage. So good. The orechiette w sausage ( I think it was a special) it was very good. The penne a la vodka w added chicken was very good too. We were stuffed. No room for desert but they gave us a shot of I think the server said, frozen lemon margarita? It was refreshing perfect way to end the meal. Service is friendly n attentive.

This restaurant has been here for 20 years plus. That should say enough. But the dinner service is great the food is impecable. The price is good. The ambiance is great as well with Italian music ..

In a neighborhood full of Italian restaurants, this is the best! Family-run w people who remember you, this is an island of calm and welcome in an often-times crazy city. They start you off w amazing grilled bread and a tomato/pepper sauce and after everything else they'll end w a nice shot of limoncello. Grilled veggies as an app and seafood pasta in a spicy red sauce are a must. Honestly, after trying this place you'll want to come again and again.

I had some friends from out of town in who were looking to go out to eat. When we arrived were greeted in a very friendly manner by the staff. Were given ample time to check out the extensive menu. The food was delicious and as mentioned in another review the specials menu was very varied. We never felt rushed. The ambience was intimate and cozy. there was ample outdoor seating though we opted to eat inside. The whole vibe was as if were were invited to someone's home. It was a most enjoyable evening as much for the service as the food.

This is an awesome spot in Parkslope Brooklyn which has been here 23 years. I was so pump to go back to this restaurant I have not been here in years. So my hubby and I found this was the perfect time to give more support to our local restaurants. Well I was not disappointed with our delicious lunch. I had a salad with Caesar salad dressing and tender mouth watering grill shrimps. I had a strong ice coffee perfect. Then for dessert my husband and I decided to try the apple pie is was homemade as their other desserts oh my God it was so delish. The owner was the best so nice we were chatting away with him on our neighborhood and current events. He was so sweet and let's us try on the house his delicious sorbet lemon and Blood orange so refreshing perfect for the summer day and outdoor dinning. We had a wonderful Lunch out in our community felt real good. I was happy to see them all following COVID-19 protocols, total social distancing and everyone wearing masks excellent. As we walked in we could already feel the warm ambiance and the sight of cute yet rustic decor. As soon as I sat down a young lady came to guide us through the specials menu and as she finished her long list I wanted one of everything!! The service was beyond my expectations for a Saturday night (amazing) and the food was great from appetizers to desserts. We started off with the Burrata and the Baked Clams (both great decisions) very light as satisfying of my taste buds. After that the owner recommended to us the Sachetini and my husband had the Seafood Linguini. Both dishes were seasoned perfectly and both pastas were cooked to our liking. The unique Sachetini is really what blew me away with how the combined flavors of poached pears and toasted walnuts with that creamy, rich, gorgonzola sauce (will definitely be back for more!!) The SottoVoce house cocktail was a very good compliment to the meal and my husband has the sparkling rose which he enjoyed very much. We knew we couldn't pass up the offer for dessert so we got the homemade Pistachio Tartufo which was just what I needed after such a meal, it was light and the perfect amount of sweet and I snagged a bite of my husbands "Brooklyn's Best Apple Pie" and let me tell you that really is Brooklyn's best.. Overall amazing experience and the staff was very professional. As someone with Italian roots me and my husband approve!! The authenticity is beyond my explaining. The owner informed us SottoVoce had been open for about 26 years and I now know why, thank you for such a wonderful experience SottoVoce staff!! Will definitely be back with friends and family.

We used to be regulars at sotto voce for years, but as new places opened in the area we branched out and went less frequently. All I can say is, no one has yet to hold a candle to this neighborhood gem. The family that owns it makes you feel like you're sitting down to a home cooked Italian meal (and that's a huge compliment from this Italian girl who grew up on grandma's cooking). Every dish is made with love there- and my meal last night was a reminder of the warmth and hospitality I always feel when I dine at Sotto Voce. Our entire party of 8 enjoyed every bite and I found myself using the bread to mop up the last of the sauce on my ravioli because it was that good. If you want a truly enjoyable, authentic Italian experience, this is the place.

A special celebration deserves a special dining experience! This park slope gem has been here for 25 years! This is a restaurant we have frequented over the years and tonight we went all out - wine, appetizers, main dish and dessert - at the end the owner surprised us with a complimentary after dinner drink and a lemon sorbet! We started with an artichoke hearts and clams oreganato appetizer then lasagna and shrimp and fettuccine as our main dishes I had my all time fav Italian cheesecake and my boyfriend had the pear tart with homemade hazelnut gelato - everything was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Wow that hazelnut gelato!!The restaurant was fairly quiet with soft music playing in the background which is a nice change and made for a relaxing evening Our meal was on the pricey side this evening but as I said we went all out - drinks, appetizers, entree , coffee and deserts I highly recommend this very special neighborhood Italian restaurant and hope it remains a neighborhood staple for many years to come!

OK, here is the real deal. This place is AWESOME! The food is over the top fresh and tasty. The pasta is really good, and I would highly recommend the fresh made pasta with meatballs. The service was also good, and the server was very attentive to our needs (e.g., didn't have to ask for more water or utensils). Great for groups of 15-20 people. I can see this place becoming a favorite for many.

The food here is comfort food! I had the spaghetti and meatballs and I instantly went back to having Sunday dinner at my grandmas house. Simple ingredients with fantastic taste. Everything was such a pleasant surprise. Thank you : )

I had a craving for lasagna on the way back from the city and googled Italian restaurants close to Park Slope and decided on this place. I called a half hour ahead to make sure I didn't have to wait because I was starved. The owner (who's name I forgot to ask) was very welcoming. The restaurant itself was very nice too, I got there right before dinner time so the tables were perfectly ready for the rush with folks and napkins set out. It didn't take but 5 minutes -- if that to pick up my order and I was back to the house. I get home, sit down to eat, and thankfully the food is still hot like it came fresh baked out the oven. Yay! So I dig in and while the lasagna wasn't horrible it wasn't great. Very standard. I could've got the same thing at any old pizzeria in my opinion. Definitely not what I expected from a 4 start google rated authentic Italian restaurant. Maybe the other food there is great but no to their lasagna.

Food: Came here for brunch with unlimited drinks! Didn't have a reservation or anything and was able to come in with a party of 4 and get seated pretty quickly (this was also the weekend of the NYC marathon so we were having difficulties getting places for last minute brunch!). I ordered the saporito eggs Benedict with unlimited mimosa, Champagne, and bloody Marys. It was delicious! I wish the dish was a little bit bigger, I felt the amount of food did not really fill me up but the bread that came prior helped with that so I guess it worked out. The drinks were okay, not a big fan of the Bloody Mary here but the mimosa and champagne were great and I had no issues! Cost: Deal was fantastic. Brunch was $14.95 and the unlimited drink add on was $7.95. I wasn't sure if there was a time limit but we were in and out at our own pace and didn't feel like we were rushed. Environment: The restaurant seemed cozy. They did only have 1 shared bathroom so I can see if on the busy days, there can be a long line for the bathroom. Service: Service was quick. Our drinks were filled when they were empty right away. There was a female server who took care of us and she was absolutely amazing and always on her A-game! Uniqueness: The brunch with unlimited drinks is always a great saturday/sunday gathering event. The price was on point and the drinks were pretty good which makes this place a place that I would definitely come back to in the future!

Bad food. Will not be ordering from them again. Ordered takeout and estimated wait time was 50-60 min. Order took over an hour and a half and food was cold and soggy. Ordered mussels in wine sauce and they were not fresh at all. The freshness has nothing to do with the delay delivery so that's the quality of their seafood. The calamari was soggy and rubbery. The meatballs was very dry. Again, nothing to do with the late delivery but the quality of the meat was not good. Chicken was ok besides being cold. Overall a horrible experience.

Walked by looking for a place to eat ...WOW is all I can say! The service was fabulous, the food was exceptional! The Gorgonzola purses were delicate and light. Everything tasted like your Italian grandmother cooked it. Best restaurant I have eaten at in a while . A must try !

Just super. And superbly consistent. Update: my wife and I had dinner at Sotto Voce not twelve hours ago, and aside from the wonderfully homelike atmosphere and the unaffected friendliness of Annachi (not fake "graciousness"), the food was delightful. High-level ingredients, a good wine list. And I think the great test of any restaurant is its ability to prepare simple food superbly. We had eggplant rollatini, a tuna steak with broccoli, sole oreganata with sauteed spinach -- tender fish, beautifully green vegetables -- every mouthful a pleasure. And the meal finished with an unsolicited scoop of fig-hazelnut gelato and two glasses of iced Averna. A sweet experience, one we can't wait to repeat. Yes, there are other Italian restaurants on the planet. But this one is special.

I had amazing Saccottini here tonight and our waitress was also just so wonderful and had the friendliest demeanor and attitude, made it such an enjoyable experience. I wish I remembered her name so I could give her a special shoutout but she lived in Bushwick if that'll get her a raise ;) Prices were totally reasonable, everything we had was great! Bottles of wine were also reasonably priced, most were right around $30. I definitely recommend this place. I've only been once but it's good pasta and reasonable prices with kind staff.

Food portions are very small and during brunch there's only one menu to order from which includes drinks which is fine but the amount of food given why would anyone drink and drink to only be sick after not eating enough. Food portions are for toddlers

Amazing food, incredible service. Took very good care of us and threw in a few free treats.

First time, quick dinner. Atmosphere was cute but cramped as it was one fairly large dining room. It was nearly filled when we arrived. The menu was diverse including daily specials. Dishes going by looked pretty good. A bread basket with a sundried tomato tapenade was brought to the table. Service was satisfying with water glasses refilled frequently. The waiter offered prompt and courteous service. We both ended up ordering from the pasta category--the Cavatelli with Spinach Pesto topped with ricotta and the Rigatoni Siciliana (with red tomatoes and roasted eggplant). Although both meals were leaning towards delicious, I preferred the Cavatelli. The misstep with my dish was that the pasta was way too al dente. My fault since I should have sent it back, but i was in a time crunch. The overall flavors were good, but I felt the entire meal gave me indigestion for a while. I would return to give it another try.

One of the most delicious places I have visited in Brooklyn (living here for over 20 years now) stellar service and amazing food. We were greeted by a lovely young girl and given menus. All waiters were super duper welcoming and attentive. We ordered fried calamari/zucchini and eggplant parmigiana for starters, that eggplant is still on my mind and I can't wait to go back to eat again, I wish the portion was bigger next time I'll order double. For main my husband had chicken parm with spaghetti side pasta and mine was fetucini with shrimp, the chicken parm was OUTSTANDING! I barely ever order this dish because it's huge hit or a miss and most of the time a miss but here they make soooooo delicious and fresh we finished all our plates, and they're tomato sauce is best I have ever had. Desserts were Tortufo and Pear Tart with hazelnut gelato, so yummy! Followed by complimentary ports! Waiters were constantly checking in on us and refilling water, just the service alone deserves 5 stars and food is as well 5 stars. Thank you Alyssa, Vaccio and Givani for a great experience, we can't wait to go back. (I'm so sorry for for misspelling your names)

My go to Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. My husband and I have been here several times and have never had a bad meal. Try the recommended specials, the pollo Sotto Voce and the gelato!

We had such a delicious dinner at Sotto Voce tonight. This was the second time we dined here and both times it was excellent. The caesar salad was very good and each of our entrees was delicious. Our waitress was very enthusiastic and positive. She described all of the offerings and offered wonderful recommendations. Thank you for a lovely meal!

WHY WE WENT HERE: - brunch - conveniently located down the block from my friend's apt THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on the corner of 4th St and 7th Ave - quaint spot; windows are opened (on nice days) to allow semi-indoor/outdoor seating THE (BRUNCH) MENU: * note: Brunch is $18.95 = served Saturday and Sunday and most holidays from 10:30am-4pm with unlimited mimosas, champagne, Bloody Mary, hot coffee, and hot tea - uova - pasta - salads - pane WHAT WE ORDERED: - Bloody Mary - mimosa - complimentary bread - uova cucinati in camicia (two poached eggs) saporito (over grilled portobello & Canadian Bacon & Hollandaise sauce) - uova cucinati in camicia (two poached eggs) benedict (with Canadian Bacon & Hollandaise sauce on an English muffin) THE TASTE: - my friend said her Bloody Mary was SUPER spicy - there was nothing special about my mimosa other than it was SUPER strong - the complimentary bread honestly just felt like store-bought bread that was sliced (it wasn't even warm/toasted, it was served cold) - Hollandaise sauce was VERY lemony - uova cucinati in camicia saporito was fine, but didn't wow me - uova cucinati in camicia benedict was served to my friend with burnt English muffin CUSTOMER SERVICE: - the server and host were nice, but just wished the food tasted better

My group of 20 recently sat down here and were treated like royalty - Ahmed and Mario and Ahmed's daughter were so warm and caring, it was like sitting in my family's home. We had a menu prepared by Mario for our group that included calamari, eggplant, chicken, salmon, pasta and the largest dessert tray I've ever seen and all were wonderful. Great frozen margaritas, too! It's meaningful to see a restaurant as a neighborhood staple for over 20 years - it takes dedication and quality to last this long in Brooklyn!

Friendly staff. Super delicious food. Affordable prices. I came for brunch with my coworker where it cost $14.95 for an entree and an additional $7.95 for unlimited drinks. The drinks I wished we could've gotten more but still the drinks were decent. The entrees were absolutely flavorful. I loved the spinach and ricotta penne and fusilli with the tomato cream with ample amount of smoked salmon. For dessert we ordered the pistachio gelato and the apple pie came with cinnamon gelato. Both gelato were perfect and smooth and they are all made in house. I'll definitely will come again to try other foods.

AMAZING FOOD + SERVICE great holiday ambiance. we immediately felt at home when walking in. the owner (?) was soooo friendly and attentive and we love him. i had the sacchettini special and it was to die for. will definitely be returning!

Great place, Mario is a great guy. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was good too. Whatever is in their tomato sauce is heavenly.
