A deteriorating, attractive old building where it gives mixed feeling of both mysterious and spooky too 😅 by the way, it should be taken as an ancient museum. It is good too. There is an entrance fee and can use the ticket to discount for one drink each. The drinks aren't very impressive giving the high price. It is understandable by the way since the maintenance to keep the place gorgeous must be high as well. The place is an open-air space. Giving both small shares and coffee table as well as laying down with tight style pillow as well. Customers have to take off the shoes before entering the upper floor too.

Tucked away from Bangkok’s relentless buzz, this café offers a charming escape with its laid-back atmosphere and greenery. The 50THB entrance, redeemable for a refreshing drink, feels like a small ticket to a slower pace. While the service and menu have room for improvement, the setting itself makes it easy to linger, read, or simply watch the afternoon drift by. It’s a place that invites you to pause, reminding you that there’s still a corner of Bangkok where time doesn’t rush.

I loved this place - it‘s one of these sites that‘s kind of hidden away, maybe even a bit hard to find and best of all - with relatively few visitors. The building itself is interesting to visit and the overall experience was very calming as well. I also ordered an orange coffee there that was pretty good as well. They also have a washroom but it‘s a bit hidden, so you just ask the employee that is present.

The bungalow with its garden and pool is serene and manages to magically transport you to a much older, slower Bangkok. I'd go there again, just to see the building.

A great historical walk around albeit small. I don’t think it warrants the entrance fee, the drink order was wrong and minimal service but, perhaps worth a visit.

This 19th century house is supposed to be the last traditional Chinese house in Bangkok. It’s in a slight state of disrepair but that really adds to the charm of the place. The pool, built recently, is where diving classes are conducted and there’s a cafe inside as well, although it didn’t seem to be open when we were there. There’s a 50 Baht entry fee, which we heard could be offset against a cafe purchase. It seems the family still owns the place even though many organisations have come forward to restore it (what we were told). It’s a nice stop while in Talat Noi and a welcome break from the heat.

I was not impressed with this place. The one interesting thing was a sign explaining the history of the building and it was hidden way in the back. I felt like the floor was going to collapse when I walked anywhere, and they make you take your shoes off upstairs. There were piles of debris or bricks everywhere. It was not worth the time we spent getting there.

Gorgeous old Chinese style mansion which is in dire need of repair, but gloriously beautiful nevertheless. A quiet calm place to enjoy a lemon tea, if this is the vibe you like💛
