Souk Jara

The Souk Jara in Amman is a very fun and calm place to be during Fridays. It was full of cultural vibes, handmade stuff, books, food. It was a very good place, it was not that expensive. For the tourists coming here, i highly recommend it, the entrance is free, you really get a cultural taste of Jordan with the souk jara. I highly recommend this.

If you’re in Amman on a Friday and want to shop for cute stuff, it’s definitely worth a visit! Just go after 6 pm because it can get really hot earlier. I picked up some lovely souvenirs to take back home.

Great experience and nice products We bought creams, soaps and paintings directly from Artists and cherry on the top was the refreshing smoothie at end where all the food stands are. High recommendation for Mariam stand, they have nice products and my wife is planning to go back and get some more. also another stand when you enter the market on your right side that sells creams, we found natural eczema cream which seems to work fine so I guess will go again. I went on Friday morning with the family and it was not crowded, just make sure you have some change as things are reasonably priced and you don't always find change for 50JDs in the morning many places have credit card machine, but I prefer to pay in cash in such places to support the local businesses and avoid unnecessary banks deductions on cards. Always enjoy visiting this souq in Amman, Jordan. Jara is a must-visit destination for any tourist. Prices are reasonable, I love the variety of booths, and I always appreciate the amazing handmade work by locals.

This souk has to be on ur bucket list , the area is very nice and calming , the sellers in the souk were really friendly and nice . There are a lot of local souvenirs that are extremely unique and nice . And at the end of the souk there is an area where you can spot most of downtown and the citidal.

Amazing place that showcases many local Jordanian, Palestinian, Armenian, Syrian and other artists and talents. You will see art, hand made items and natural organic produce. The ambiance is fantastic and atmosphere will put you in a great mood. Please go and support the rising generation of ambitious locals.

Souk Jara is a street market that opens on Friday from 10 AM till 10 PM in Rainbow st. Jabal Amman. You can anything from hand jewellery , street wear ,handicrafts, spices, ceramic goods , local food ,and more.

Cool market on Rainbow Street I visited on a Friday, I'd advise you to check what day it is open as its not every day. Loads of different stalls with vendors selling their own products and there is also a food section to the end. Picked up a cool Jordanian painting from a local artist as my souvenir.
