Soul & Surf Kerala

I had a wonderful time at Soul & Surf Kerala. The surf instructors were professional and insightful. The front desk staff provided outstanding customer service. Poojah’s yoga classes were the best. Her calm and grounded energy will soothe you. I also recommend booking the Varkala tour at the front desk. Anil, our tour guide, showed us so many hidden gems, places I wouldn’t know existed. He can also accommodate the itinerary according to your interests and preferences. 10/10

We visited Soul & Surf in Varkala and had a wonderful experience. The place has private beach access and a beautiful sea view. The food was great, especially the dosa and curry for breakfast. Though they have a fixed breakfast menu available only till 11:30, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay by the beach!

I fell in love with the place the moment I arrived. I came just in time to join the afternoon yoga session with a competent teacher that provided knowledge about yoga in addition to calmful and great session. The morning after I had assigned for a surf lesson. It was so cool to be transported in tuktuk to the lovely beaches. When in water the surf teacher was very competent and I felt very well taken care of in the waves. The food served was so healthy and tasty and felt 100% safe for my western stomach. The reception was helpful and extremely quick and useful responses to all my queries, even after I left. The location was great on top of a cliff with wonderful view to the sunsets and easy walk down to a beautiful beach. Simply loved the whole experience. I will be back!

Absolutely 10/10 experience - I wish I could go back already. The surfing instructors were amazing and patience, especially for someone who is terrible at surfing. The food was amazing and the yoga absolutely great! Honestly, the whole vibe is so relaxing and chill and I wish I could've stayed longer. Truly an amazing slice of heaven!

Best place in South India! We’ve been in a monsoon season but the weather was very pleasant. Every morning we had surf lessons and then a delicious breakfast 😉 I could mention everyone by name but I just tell that every person in this crew pulls out all the stops to make this place so cheerful. If you like spend time actively, love good food, love dogs and want just relax it’s definitely place for you! Cheers guys!

soul and surf healed my soul...i signed up for ten days of surf lessons and i had no idea then about the impact S&S would have on me...the vibe of the place is magical,something so rare and beautiful that it makes me want to keep going back...the staff are the real stars of the show...the sunset,the garden,the good food and all the other people you get to meet also helps.cheers guys!i love y'all. i dont think it would have been possible to find a place better than this to start my surfing adventures. We booked this room for my birthday, expecting to be a super special stay but it was quite disappointing. Very average rooms for 5-6K where you have no service. Although Soul Cafe had a nice view but we could anyway visit the cafe for sunset and see the view. Cherry on the top was We had to take our own luggage to 3rd floor by ourselves. We had 2 suitcases and it was utterly disappointing that the place had no lift. Also they say there check in time is 3 PM so prepare accordingly. We came at 11, they said that the room is getting cleaned and gave the room at 2 PM. There were no dental kit, sanitary products. No dustbin in the room. It was almost like you are staying in a private room in a hostel where you pay 2-3k max.

Super breakfast. For 420 Rs you get a generous combo that’s definitely worth it. The location is superb and the service both good and efficient. The background music felt unnecessary in my opinion, but at least it was kept low, allowing guests to enjoy conversation and the natural tranquility of the place.
