This restaurant offers a fusion of traditional and innovative Spanish cuisine, featuring a predominantly old-fashioned, wood-toned bar décor, outdoor seating, and two levels of interior seating. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the menu is available in both English and Spanish.
I've visited this restaurant several times, and this time we tried "Nachos, los del Soul", "Croquetas soul", and "Chuletón de Avileña". The dishes were all up to standard and served in generous portions. However, the Croquetas were a little bland and unimpressive, and the Charcoal Roast of the Chuletón was slightly overdone, making the skin taste a bit bitter. With drinks, we paid around 57 EUR in total.
This is a great place to try when visiting Ávila if you're looking for a traditional local dish or if you're a steak lover. The prices and portion sizes are definitely affordable, and reservations are recommended as the restaurant is always full. I will likely return to Ávila the next time I bring a different friend to visit.
