This place is IT! the instructors, the vibes, the people!! I love love cycling and when a friend recommended this place, something clicked in my head and ever since last year I have been in love. Please if you have the chance try it out, your life will be instantly changed!

I came for a ClassPass with Cole and it was my favorite cycle class yet! I was greeted at the front by Cory and she made me feel so welcome and comfortable which isn’t usually the attitude when you go to a studio you aren’t a regular at. Came for the free class pass but will definitely be back for the environment and good vibes from these staff members!

Google
Corrie was Amazing today, she really made me feel appreciated as a customer and was so helpful today. I’ve noticed this location has a lot of turnover…… don’t lose that one!!!

Google
From the front desk staff to the instructor, everyone is so sweet! Janna was absolutely amazing! She has such a "can do" attitude, so positive and welcoming. I was struggling hard as a beginner but she never made me feel like I was doing it wrong. If anyone is discouraged or nervous about taking their first cycle class, Janna is who you should book with. I will definitely be back to book with her.

So much fun. Friendly staff. Second time there. I’ll be back to die on the bike lol

Best workout experience! Not only does it make me feel physically great it also helps me get in a very positive mindset that sets me up for success for the rest of the week. All of the staff from the front desk to the instructors and everyone else are all so kind and welcoming and very responsive. I can’t recommend enough!

This is like your average, gym cycle class....only a bit more complicated and a bit more upscale. 1. You will need : workout gear for exercise, water bottle, clip in shoes (they will give you complimentary ones your FIRST ride only.) They will have hair ties, ear buds (noise level) and gum -- complimentary. 2. The people that frequent this place are either unmotivated OR have money to burn. The instructors have great energy but its also the whole premise of the studio. If you cannot motivate yourself, this is the place for you. 3. They lack space. You will be waiting for ONE studio room to open and right outside are lockers. When one class comes out, you will smell body odor. Ugh. 4. You can sign up for classes online or in person along with your bike number preference. Just be aware of their cancellation policy. 5. High energy but understaffed. Its a bit hard to get their attention. 6. She said complicated. Yes, the complicated part is they have machines that you can ONLY use if you have clip in shoes, forcing you to rent (four dollars each class) or buy your own (expensive). You choose a certain bike with a number. If you don't cancel before 5 pm the day before, you get charged. Houston requires you to commute and so many things happen - including emergencies. I understand cancelling within 2 hours but not 17 hours before. Something to keep in mind. Getting on a bike is the most complicated thing because the company purposely buys bikes for those  clip in shoes to lock in. My first few times, it took me and the staff almost 5-7 minutes just to lock my feet in. It takes time to get used to. Hopefully you won't need to use the restroom the whole class. 7. The class is like a disco. Certain classes have themes. The music is loud enough to make you deaf, even WITH ear plugs. If they are out of ear plugs, that would be an obvious indication that they should turn down the music, right? Its almost pitch dark except for a few candles that they allow newbies to blow out towards the end of class. If something happens to you, who would know with the music blaring and it being close to pitch dark? 8. They have a luxury restroom with "hotel" vibes. You have your two showers with shampoos and toiletries but small space. I am surprised soul cycle exists anywhere, really. I will say no one was rude. They were up beat and willing to help if you could get their attention with the staff ratio to customers. The individual classes itself aren't cheap and I do not think they offer any membership deals which is ridiculous. Motivation is internal and if not, you will pay a hefty price for it. Maybe the ones that are regulars come in because it is "different" but you will see it is not all that much different from gym cycle.

Yelp
Super fun class, did SZA wednesday and the energy was awesome. Well organized, employees know to show newbies how to set up their bikes and everyone is super welcoming! A good cardio workout for sure.

Yelp
As someone who spins frequently, I decided to try a few other spin studios this past week with SoulCycle being one of them. As I arrived, I found parking to be a bit difficult as there were limited spaces at the time I went but I was early so it wasn't an issue. Once parked, I made my way inside and went to the front desk to check in. I loved all of the brightly colored (and adorable) merchandise they have in the entry way as well. One of the women behind the desk checked me in and told me my bike number but really wasn't friendly and didn't give an overview of the studio like you would expect. Additionally, it seemed like only some first time riders had lockers set aside for them so it was a bit unusual. There was one team member working who was really hustling to help new riders, make conversation and get stuff done but the others seemed to just stand around. As it got closer to class time, I went into the studio and got my bike setup and ready for class. The studio was a bit tighter feeling than some of the classes I've taken as I often got bumped as people walked by me. As this was a themed ride, you could feel the excitement of the riders around me getting hyped for the playlist which I thought was fun. The instructor got the class started on time and had a lot of fun choreography for the ride - nice to do something different. Lastly, I appreciated the energy from the instructor and you could tell others did as well. One thing to consider with SoulCycle is that this felt more like a community or club while you're here and everyone was all about SoulCycle. I love an environment like this if it's something I'm passionate about but it is something you have to be ready for - a bit cliquey.

Yelp
I've been riding here since 2016. I found a place that accepts more for who I am. I am overweight but when I come in a feel welcomed. Everyone is welcomed into the studio. It doesn't matter what you look like. I don't feel judged. I just love the environment and everything is so clean. I also love that I can pop on over to Local Foods next door. The staff has changed over the years and the service is still the same. Some of the old instructors still come to ride which is great. I love talking to the others riders. Thank you Soulcycle for being amazing

Yelp
I mean, are we even doubting that this place is anything but AMAZING!!! Its SOULCYCLE of course the place is beautiful clean they always play the best music every time that I've been to any class instructors make it so fun empowering and you leave that class feeling stronger.

Yelp
This was my first ever soul cycle class (second spin class). I've been on a fitness journey so I'm trying different styles of exercise. The parking here is weird. It's a big complex with lots of business and the soul cycle is tucked far back and the sign is obscured so I did two laps around and couldn't find it. I assumed it must be upstairs so I drove up the deck and parked just to finally see it downstairs. This made me arrive a bit later than the 15 minutes before class to get set up so I was a bit rushed to start. The class was "sponsored" by virgin voyages and I still don't know what that means outside of being harassed by people in red jumpsuits telling me about cruise specials. Once in the class it felt like a cult. From the dark room with red lighting, to the people randomly screaming, to the instructor passing around candles for people to blow out. It was weird. Idk if that passion comes with time but I don't care to find out. It was an ok workout but my but hurts from the ridiculously hard seat that the instructor did tell us to sit on multiple times (for those who would say you're not supposed to sit on the seat) and not from the workout itself.

Yelp
I come here through class pass - mainly for the themed classes and I absolutely love it every time! My favorite instructors are Cole and Andres. It's always a fun time with the music and themes and I will constantly be back!
google avatar

Chi A.

Yelp
First time at SoulCycle and it was a blast. I went to Andres class which was a "JLO vs. Shakira" at 5:30pm on Wednesday. I signed up online and checked in with no hassle. The class wasn't super packed but the energy in there was amazing. I can't wait to come back at least three times a week.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm absolutely obsessed! I've tried several cycle studious but nothing tops soul cycle! My favorite instructor is Cole. I LOVE the themed music nights and I always leave feeling energized and motivated. 100/10 recommend!

Yelp
Took Pinij's class and am still sore days later!! Such a fun atmosphere during the class with good music and you definitely leave feeling accomplished. A group of us went for a friend birthday and they took a picture of him at the end of class and brought a candle for him to blow out, it was really thoughtful. The studio is similar to other soul's I have been to, except for a very important detail, THIS SOUL HAS LE LABO SOAP!!! (Yes soap, just go try it, trust me!!) it smells amazing and makes you feel so clean before leaving the studio. Also cute signs and stuff to take pictures with for the gram. Only thing - I wish soul was less expensive :-( Not anything specific to this studio though!

Daniela L.

Yelp
I've been coming to soul cycle for over a year and I can confirm Cole is a leg killer specialist. 100% recommended. Love you Cole, you are absolutely the best.

Yelp
I'm so thrilled about all the spinning studies Houston has now. I got to participate in a class today as part of the Houston Ellevate network group. Love the location, was able to find parking easily and check in team was great, friendly and efficient. Only four stars because I had trouble getting someone to help me adjust my bike and it still didn't feel right so the ride was a little uncomfortable for me. Also, the bikes are SO close together that I kept hitting my poor neighbor :( Other than that, it was a terrific experience. Loved the music, the energy and the facility. I will be back and will try to get better help with the adjustment process. Also, lockers were spacious and easy to use. Everything was markes and clear, making it easy to find your way around. They sell nice, large bottles of Smart Water for $2. This is a great addition to Houston's fitness studios!

Jennie W.

Yelp
Meg is great. She really brings the energy into the room. Love her performance and music and style and everything about her. Her messages are great too. keep on being amazing meg.

Yelp
The instructors are absolutely amazing and so inspirational. The front desk crew is all so helpful and kind. Everyone does a great job creating an amazing atmosphere

Yelp
Setup: trying a new spin spot with friends The good: super enthusiastic staff, amped up space, speaker system, bikes (practically new, so we'll see how that goes), plenty of swag to purchase The bad: class prices, single location (though they are building one at Voss/Woodway), swag prices... Observations: I feel like this is not suited for beginners. As a seasoned rider from another studio, I could follow along just fine, but there was little to no instruction before starting the class. It's a bit cult-ish so some newbies could be intimidated. Park in the garage on the 2nd level and walk/elevator down to the first floor.

Yelp
Out of all the workout classes I've tried this one is probably the best. Very refreshing and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. The trainer she was great and I loved her energy. I would definitely return.

Jen L.

Yelp
Amazing class at Soul today! I was in town for business and was able to secure a bike at a 6:30a session. They have everything you need - water, shoes & even merchandise if you want a memory. It's a great workout that feeds your soul too!

Yelp
I'm am so happy SoulCylce has mad it's way to Houston! I first heard about it last summer when I went to Chicago with a friend. Yet we didn't have time to work it in our trip. So when I heard one was opening in Houston my dream came to life!! Today May 2nd, 2016 was my first time ever doing cycling period and it was a wonderful experience! This place is in a great area in River Oaks! Right next to Local Food for healthy eating afterward! The ambiance and color combos of white with pops of black and yellow is awesome!! The staff were so amazingly friendly! Today smart water and shoes were free ! So awesome !! Lockers were plenty and easy to use!! I advise getting there atleast 20 minutes early to relax and not feel to rushed because if you are a first time rider like me you will need help finding your bike setting it up and clicking your shoes in! But they have people to help with that! It was so awesome!! Started off with some pop and hip hop, edm then slowed it down with some cool music toward the in! I felt liberated ! Best fitness experience of my life! I love fitness I belong to a UFC gym but this beats that by far!! Look I drove way from Fresno, to for this class and I'll come once a week to get my soul cycle fix!! Phenomenal place must try for everyone ! I understand it's a bit pricey, but Its worth it. If you can put your money toward going out to eat or the movies you can indulge in this too!! All about what makes you happy!! No complaints here! And I took Channele's class wow is all I have to say! See ya next week!

Yelp
Took part in their intro deal ($30 for 2 classes) and came on a Tuesday at 5:30pm for the hip hop spin class. Check in went smoothly, and bike set-up with assistance also went smoothly. I liked how there were plenty of lockers and space to put on shoes. The class itself was great, but I think they are on par with those at RYDE, RIDE, DEFINE, and Revolution Studio. The former 3 are all on ClassPass, whereas SoulCycle is not. There are only 2 showers, which seems typical of these spin studios. They have a few nice touches, like spare hair ties, ear plugs, and gum at the check-in counter, but I thought they could also add in cold towels at the end of class, which you frequently see at other boutique spin studios. Overall, a good experience!

Yelp
This is like the Hillary Clinton of indoor cycling. Reliable, stable, calculated, measured, tame, corporate- can feel somewhat disingenuous. It's fine. Good for enneagram 2's- maybe some 1's and 9's. Constant high fives in the middle of class were weird- they also asked us to stare into the mirror at other classmates eyes- also really weird. During stretching they expect you to push your vagina into/inside the bike bar- and everyone does it- um, hell no. But all in all it's a decent workout. Good sound system, A/C (when on) is strong. The playlist was terrible in the class that I did- I need to go back and try a different instructor- if the playlist is better I may up this review to 4 stars. The music/instructor def. make and break a cycling class. If you are looking for a very similar workout but much more challenging, more dramatic but also much more genuine- try Ride Indoor Cycling in the Heights. It's a better workout- better instructors- and because they aren't beholden to Wall Street- it's less expensive. (Although, I think all cycling studios should have an unlimited monthly option). Recommendation for Ride instructors: Riley, Maddy/Shannon, Taryn. Good for enneagram 3's, 7's, 8's, and some 9's and 1's.

Yelp
I had heard so much hype about Soul Cycle and was very excited to give it a try in Houston since they don't have it in Atlanta. However, I really wasn't impressed. The bikes are positioned to where you are so bent over it hurts your back, they don't track your class metrics and the teacher doesn't stay on the bike and walks around and yells / turns up your torq. The bikes don't even have a screen so you can see how you did. It was very similar to Cyc in Atlanta which is not my favorite. They also charge for shoes, which is ridiculous when most other spin studios don't charge. I much prefer the Flywheels of the world where you know your metrics and how well you performed in class that day. I guess it's all about preference but this definitely wasn't mine.

Yelp
I am a sucker for a good spin class. I have taken many at multiple studios, but I was excited to give Soul Cycle a try since it is where the cycle craze began. I have to be honest and say that I was not as impressed as I had hoped I would be. the studio is beautiful albeit small. The bathrooms are decked out with luxe additions like a special made hand soap from Le Labo created just for Soul Cylce. Hair dryers, hair ties, and almost every other bathroom ammenity you can imagine is carefully placed in the restroom for your after class needs. They have an abundance of lockers and offer bike cushions should you need them. We took an 11:45am class on a Sunday and there were less than 10 people in attendance. I attributed that to people getting their workout in early and heading to brunch. Our instructor was nice and energetic but the music and the atmosphere left me wanting more. I got a great sweat in but I was not as pumped as I usually am after I leave a class. This was our first time in the studio so we were given our shoes for free. The usual fee is $3 to rent shoes. All in all I think it was a good experience just to say I have been. Cyclebar in Creekside and Ride in Hughes Landing provide the same type of classes for half of what Soul Cylce charges and they can be found on Classpass. Cycle bar also offers shoes and bike cushions free of charge always.

Yelp
This was my first time here. Overall impression is that it's in a great location and has a similar vibe to other competing cycle studios. The bikes are great quality and have a nice soulcycle touch...the soulcycle design is throughout the whole studio which makes the ambience feel like an energetic cycle studio. I couldn't really see any additional perks beyond other studios to command the premium. The instructor tried to emphasize the difference between soulcycle and others saying it had a culture built in. I'm not bought in yet but it was again my first time so maybe it'll grow on me. Bottom line: overall great studio in a good location. I couldn't find anything different between this studio and others and would actually say the shampoo and conditioner is worse than other studios like ryde Pros High energy studio with good ambience Location Cons High premium and undecipherable difference between this studio and others Shampoo and conditioner seem of lower quality than competing studios
google avatar

Christy L.

Yelp
I've been to many spin classes in Houston and also been to lots of different SoulCycles locations and ROTX offers top not experience and quality. The 4 stars is because SoulCycle is by far the most pricey spin class in Houston. There are a lot less expensive alternatives, but they don't have the brand and consistent vibe across locations. Most important thing here is that the location is kept VERY clean (lots of fluffy towels and the bathroom is always in good shape). This location also has a log of room, so you don't have to feel packed like sardines while you're sweating for almost an hour in a work out. The staff are very friendly and they have a consistent line up of very motivating instructors. I personally like going to Austin's classes on the weekends b/c he pushes just hard enough but not so much that you feel terrible you can't keep up with the class. The other thing is that this location constantly updates its assortment of clothing for sale - so watch out you might end up spending even more on SoulCycle gear!
google avatar

Macy P.

Yelp
SoulCycle is popular due to high brand awareness only. I took my first cycle class at SC and absolutely fell in love with it. After realizing how expensive it was, I did some research and found that other studios in the area have more amenities at a way better price. The instructors at SC are pretty good, and the studio is clean, but there's not really anything special about it. The bikes are outdated compared to other studios and I thought my last class there was just okay. I would go to another studio if you want a fabulous cycling experience - unless you just want to brag on the experience of "SoulCycle".
google avatar

Keepin' It Hot T.

Yelp
I am a Soulcycle fan, and I really love this location, it has a cute nook and a great space outdoors to linger before or after class, complete with yellow bike, cushy chairs, and potted flowers. Instructors are great, fit, and really upbeat and motivating. They will push you and convince you to give that extra effort. They are mostly shared with the Memorial studio. Front staff is excellent - my first time here I was running LATE, and they did the fastest check-in and shoe/water grab I've ever seen, all the time with smiles on their faces, grabbed me a locker while I threw my shoes on in midair, stayed calm but moved quickly to help me get to my bike in time. I didn't feel any judgement or condescension like I have felt towards newbies at some places. That's a truly great staff. Shop selection is really good here also, plenty of high-end workout gear and SOUL stuff to drool over. Lockers are a 4-dial lock, so just be sure to remember your code and locker number. If you are new to indoor cycling or Soulcycle, I suggest taking a SOUL 101 class first, as the moves come fast during class, or (if you've done spin before) getting into 2nd or 3rd row where you can see both the instructor and people in front of you to follow along with unfamiliar moves. The class prices are the same as a typical Soulcycle studio, you can check pricing on the website. There are lots of themed classes so definitely take advantage of getting to ride to your favorite music by checking the schedule! As with other Soulcycle studios it gets pretty warm, so you will want water (Smartwater available for a couple bucks at the sign-in desk, or bring a bottle to fill). It's also loud music(earplugs available at check-in desk if you are very sensitive to noise) and mostly dark lighting in the classroom, which removes the insecurity of feeling judged by the more experienced riders. The bikes are fairly close so you feel more motivated to keep riding/moving with those around you, hence the "pack" or "tribe" slogan. Overall a very motivating workout for those who don't like going it alone but also don't want to feel like the awkward one in class if they aren't a regular. I fell in love with the sense of group effort and the endorphin high that comes with each class.

Yelp
Wow! I thought I was some what in shape, until I took Pinij's class. I about died. I LOVE his energy, music and choreography!. He is my favorite instructor at Soul Cycle River Oaks. I'm pretty sure I burned over a 1000 calories! I will be back next week.
google avatar

Jenna W.

Yelp
I went to my first group fitness class since the studio opened today and I was SO impressed with the procedures they've put in place to ensure everyone's health and safety. I had the whole sidebar to myself and the staff spaced out entry to the studio and room. It made me feel safe that they took temperatures upon entry as well. The other riders were very aware of maintaining social distancing as well, it was great to be back!

Yelp
Love this SoulCycle! The facility, staff and instructors at River Oaks are rockstars!

Yelp
SoulCycle is considered the premier spinning venue. After attending a few classes, I can see why people enjoy it. It's pricey ($30 a class), which knocks it down a star for me. Reservation: Buy and reserve classes online. You can buy one class at a time or five or more (but the discount for buying in bulk is minimal). Registration for the week opens up at noon each Monday. If you're really intense and want the coveted "front row" those bikes go fast. If you're like me and want to hide in the back, you can sign up a few days before (or the day of). Facility and Service: Clean and open space. The bathroom is stocked with anything you might need to get ready for your day (showers, towels, blow dryer, etc). Bikes are easy to use and the staff will help you set up your bike. Shoes must be rented for $3 since they clip into the bike. Class: Instructors are great! Very enthusiastic and encouraging. They push you hard, but when everyone else is going for it, it inspires you to do the same. The music is loud and gets your blood pumping! What really sets SoulCycle apart are the themed classes. I attended a Hamilton themed class on Sunday with a few friends. As huge fans, we were very excited to sing along and work out to the musical's top hits and we were not disappointed! Cole was great and did a great job of incorporating the syncopated beats into a traditional spin class. My friends are looking forward to the Beyonce themed class and we saw advertisements for SIA and Kanye!

Yelp
If you have not taken a class with Meg Ellis, you should! Her classes are challenging but so much fun!! Her bubbly personality and attitude motivates you to take it up a notch and give it all you got. You can tell she is passionate and loves what she does! And her playlists are always on fire!

Christine C.

Yelp
Well... first of all they did not let me know you have to be 18 and didn't think to email me or anything! I woke up at 5am to go to there class that was an 1hr from my house and they had the nerve to say "you can't go" I turn 18 in about 2 months. I guess I understand they could possibly get in trouble legally, but they should have let me know before hand or at least make it CLEAR that you need to have parental consent. DO NOT GO HERE!
google avatar

Yelp
Updating my review. After a horribly taught 37 min class (including the stretch at the end), I decided to give other instructors a chance. They are AMAZING. Not going to put the one instructor on blast, but the rest are positive, upbeat people who will push you to work harder and to be the best version of yourself.

Yelp
This has to be one of the nicest spinning facilities I've attended recently. However, I felt like it was an incredible amount of hype for a space that was jam packed with bikes. Whenever we did weighted movements my neighbor and I kept bumping elbows. Also, considering these classes are relatively expensive, I genuinely believe you can get a better workout with less frills elsewhere in Houston for a comparable price if you're looking for a premium spin experience. I'm still more of a fan of Ryde where they aren't nearly as overcrowded and also much more well-staffed in the number and quality of instructors. One of the perks of paying for a very expensive class/membership is that you get treated with incredible amenities. No cooldown towel service? Other contenders like Ryde and Revolution have these kind of perks. However I'll have to reiterate that Soulcycle's facility is top notch--their restrooms are really nice. Personally, I prefer a smaller venue with a greater selection of instructors suitable to your style of spinning. I would also advise if you're interested in dropping in, to wait a bit for the hype to die down. A considerable amount of class time was getting new riders situated on their bikes. I'm so accustomed to instructors utilizing the entire class time that I wouldn't want any new members to lose their money's worth. If you're looking for a fun, clubbish environment to workout in I think this is your calling. But if you're anything like me, looking for something more straightforward and intense without feeling crammed in, you may consider other options in Houston.

Rita C.

Yelp
Great instructors and facility. However, after numerous visits staff member Claire was extremely obnoxious and unhelpful regarding a last minute scheduling change request. Sorry to say, loyalty doesn't seem to be valued here.
google avatar

Mandy H.

Yelp
My only issue with this place is the high price--I can only come here once a week. It does get very crowded and you have to sign up for classes in advance, and if you get sick the penalty for no show is usually waived, which is more than I can say for other cheaper studios. The bikes here are fantastic and the shower amenities are amazing. The instructors really kick my butt every time. I do wish it wasn't so cost prohibitive so I could come here more often.

Yelp
Soul Cycle River Oaks opened yesterday and it's officially the first location in Texas. A cult favorite among group fitness junkies, I decided to buy a package since my go-to spinning class Flywheel hasn't made it to Houston yet. First, Chanelle is an incredible instructor. If anyone takes group fitness classes (especially spinning), you know you need to vibe with the teacher in order to fully enjoy the class. She was amazing... Great music, energy, and fitness. I will definitely be frequenting her class moving forward. There are around 50-60 bikes in the class, very close together, but you still feel like you have your own space. They provide towels, lockers, and showers for free, shoes for rent (first class rental is free) and water and apparel for purchase. Side note - women's tank tops are $52 which is pretty steep. The music makes the class - Chanelle played a mix of Beyoncé, old school hip hop, and pop favorites and I was excited the whole time. If you like to sweat and move to great music, try Soul Cycle. It's $20 for the first class and then $30 per class moving forward, if you buy a 10 pack it drops to $28. It isn't really affordable for a lot of people which is why I'm giving it a 4, but it's an awesome (5 star) class if you don't mind the cost. Last but not least they have great customer service. The first day that it opened they lost power - I ended up having two classes cancelled and they refunded my classes and also gave me an extra for the hassle. I also called the office to help me with a website issue and they helped right away and were super friendly. There is an app to download that allows you to book classes... Basically everything is easy and user friendly. Excited to keep spinning here!

Yelp
I really have to say how much I love this studio! The location is great, tons of parking (garage in back) and the staff is super friendly! I went with a group from work (CultureMap) we got our asses handed to us but loved every minute of it. Austin was out instructor he was incredible very motivational and easy to follow. Bathrooms- nicest in Houston!! Every amenity possible, they put a TON of thought into this. Location- great! Easy to get in and out of! Also I don't have to drive around for 20 mins trying to find a parking spot. Staff- front desk staff are very attentive and friendly, instructors very friendly and inspirational. Class- great music! Loved the layout and overall energy! I will be back!

Yelp
My sister took me to my first SoulCycle class, and since then, I've tried a few different studios closer to my home. Yet, I still prefer to drive an hour to SoulCycle because it is soooooo PERFECT. I've taken Pinij's class 3 times this week. I HIGHLY recommend his class, he puts out such good energy! Definitely my favorite spin teacher I've EVER TAKEN! Can't wait to go back! It's my home, an hour away from home.

Yelp
I have done Soul at several locations and different cities, and I am always impressed coming back to Soul Cycle River Oaks. They are so nice and friendly, the place is always clean- the parking is tough but that isn't their fault. Cole's classes are my favorite!

Yelp
I am so glad I tried soul cycle! My instructor was Bailey for the 5:30pm class. Bailey is amazing, she plays great music and is very motivational! I highly recommend taking a class with her. There were about 12-15 people in my class. They dim the lights and there are candles lit, it is actually sort of spiritual workout. They have lockers for rent for $2 and shoes to rent for $3, they also provide towels. The class goes for 45 min and let me tell you, you are doing WORK most of that time. It burns SO GOOD and the endorphins are pumping. Bailey also incorporated core work and weights to work our shoulders, biceps, triceps, and lats. The last 1-2 minutes we stretched. I cant wait to take another class! Thank you soul cycle and s/o to Bailey!

Yelp
I was lucky to be given a free month through my job followed by winning a 10 class raffle for SoulCycle ROTX. I feel I can give an honest review especially since it was all free to me :) I have to say I do love it- its a fun atmosphere, the music is well planned and the instructors I have taken are wonderful. The class is what you make of it- they don't always give a ton of direction on resistance as many studios do. Its up to you to know your limits. It is just hot enough and i love that they have people to help you setup bc its dark and everyone is really close together. Everything is very clean too- major plus. As far as the negatives, it is expensive. One class a week would be close to the price of equinox... which is insane. You have to have cycle shoes for the bikes, which I do, except they charge to rent if you forget them. They also charge and take your class if you cancel outside of the rather large window-no same day cancels. The front desk is helpful- not always as polite as you would hope-especially on the phone (I called with an emergency to tell them I wouldn't make it...they were very snappy. How about an OK we got you covered...some well wishes?...no) To piggyback on that the crowd is very...river oaks. Ill leave it at that. Overall, I do enjoy it and always feel awesome after. Go see Pinij- he is a blast! I think everyone should try it at least once just to say you did.

Yelp
I moved from DC back in August and have been anxiously waiting for the day when soul would come to Houston and it is finally here! I can not emphasize how much this is worth every dollar, I know it can be pricey but no studio in the area compares. You just can't compete with the original and I have never been as inspired as I am in that room. This is my favorite workout and I usually go 5 times a week. I look forward to every class. From the moment you walk in the door and smell the grapefruit candles, you instantly feel the energy. All the staff members are extremely friendly. If you are new, get there 15 minutes early to sign in, get shoes and water and get all settled on the bike. Soul bikes are different from other spin bikes so make sure to have the staff get you situated so you are properly set up. The studio is spacious and gorgeous. Parking is ample. Make sure to download the app for soulcycle, makes it really easy for booking! The instructors are amazing, there may only be 4 at this location but quality over quantity! I recommend trying all instructors to see whose classes you like best and who speaks to you best but I promise you can not go wrong with any of them! So happy to have soul in houston :)

Yelp
This studio is great: - Enthusiastic environment (instructors, GREAT music, routines) to get through the class and get the best out of it. - Everyone that works there is very helpful, this is perfect for newcomers. - Clean space - Good Service I feel like any person can join and the class permits you to adapt to your level of fitness , it depends on each person to up the difficulty on their own bike. With that being said; the instructors do a good job of encouraging you to push yourself harder.

Yelp
This was my first time cycling EVER! I went to the Friday 1:30 pm class with Kat G. And she is AMAZING!!! She pushed me, motivated me, It was a spiritual experience for me. No kidding. Every time that I felt like I wanted to stop she motivated me to keep going. The music was great and kept the class pumped. Even though this was my first time, I did not feel awkward or out of place. And I got a full body workout. We worked the upper body with hand weights and did some great stretches towards the end. The 45 minutes passed so quickly and I was drenched. So basically at this point, wherever she leads I will follow!! I already have my next class scheduled.

Yelp
I'm visiting Houston and wanted to check out Soulcycle. I did the first class thinking that it was REALLY FUN but not as hard as the cycle studio I attend in my hometown. They give you a second class free card, so I came back and tried it again and was blown away. Catie was AMAZING. The first one I took was a themed playlist and I didn't love the music, so maybe that made a difference bc I felt like the teacher was good? Anyway my overall take is that Soulcycle is a spiritual experience (I'm not a spiritual person) that pushes you to do your best, and do it with the support and energy of the other 50 people riding with you. I like spinning without the tracker and just to the beat of the music, which is what SC does. You should definitely check it out if you want a fun, motivating and SWEATY workout.

Yelp
I wish I could give negative stars. My little sister was looking forward to this class for a couple months. We live about two hours away (not including traffic). We even bought cute energy drinks and lulu lemon outfits. My poor sister had to shit the whole drive up here and when we finally got there she was so happy. Sadly, the bathrooms were the only good part about this place. THEY WOULDNT LET HER TAKE THE CLASS BECAUSE SHE WASNT 18. We even had our parents sign and we asked if we could FaceTime but they said no. Like my sister was so excited. Soul cycle, we're going to rush cycle now.
