Google
Best place ever to eat in Brugge! Everything is incredible tasty & low cost. You pay around 12€ for the delicious menu. I would just recommend to be there kind of early :)

Google
We loved this place so much, that we came here for lunch twice during our trip to Bruges. They have a lovely little patio where you can sit outside under an umbrella, or you can sit inside where there’s maybe four or five tables. The soup is served piping hot, and full of flavor. For €9, you get a big bowl of soup, some bread, butter, croutons, shredded cheese, and a little piece of fruit. For €14.50 you get all that plus a half Panini. there’s also option to order a local beer too if you’d like with your soup. Depending on what language you speak, most staff speak several languages, including English, Dutch, French….

Stopped in for lunch around 1 pm on Monday. We found the last table available outside. We both ordered the vegetable soup. I had the baked Brie, honey & pine nuts panini. My husband had the eggplant panini. Everything was so fresh & delicious! Highly recommend!

Google
This restaurant is on a quiet corner right next to the Belfort tower. I had their special soup of the day which was pumpkin and it was perfection! It was cold as heck outside and I just wanted a hot bowl of soup and this was delicious! The service was fast and even though it’s a tight fit inside, I loved it! I had the Serrano ham panini with my soup and I almost licked the bowl clean!

Google
Delicious, small, familiar, and comforting place. We tried 4 soups and 4 paninis that were absolutely amazing and with the homemade essence of a delicious soup with love. The brie nut and honey were our favorite. And the girl who received us was super nice ☺️ forget the touristy overpriced places and eat here: warm, delicious, nutritious, and complete.

Google
cozy family-owned place serving delicious hot soup! we visited Bruges during the winter times and this was our first stop when we got to the city. This was just a place we stumbled upon and it was such a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed very much not only the soups but also the hospitality

Google
Amazing soup. Lots of items. Very tasty and lots of choice. Very good price for what you get!

Google
EXTREMELY GOOD FOOD!!! Haven’t had such good soup in a while, the tomato soup is just delicious, also the panini is excellent and well done. The ladies working at the counter are extremely nice, and it’s close to the main hall. If you need food in Brugge, go here!

Yelp
Cute small space that serves soup (in case you could not guess by the name of the location). They are all made fresh that day from scratch and it is perfect on a cold day. It was chilly out that day, but we did opt to sit outside since we were a larger group and the inside is not really set up for large groups. With the hot soup it was not an issue to sit outside. The day we stopped they had leek as a special that I tried. It comes with cheese, croutons, crackers, and bread/butter on the side. It was super delicious and right by the Belfort so easy to access. The woman working the counter was super friendly and very helpful.

Erich L.

Yelp
Excellent little cafe type of restaurant. I found it searching online they have a few soups and panini sandwiches. A lunch special is half panini and a soup. Casual table service and a good deal.

Pamela S.

Yelp
This restaurant was a wonderful find. We each had the leek soup which was flavorful and delicious. It came with croutons and cheese on the side along with yummy bread and butter. They also gave us an apple. The server suggested a local beer Brugse Zot which was very refreshing. We sat outside in a quiet alley with a slight breeze to cool us down.

Roger F.

Yelp
The leek soup was creamy, delicious, and just like your Belgian grandmother used to make! And the accompanying 1/2 panini was no less delightful, as was the bread and butter. A lovely quiet spot just off the Grote Markt!

Heath S.

Yelp
Located right on the street as you head to the market from the south you can enjoy lunch awhile looking up at the Belfort tower. There are tables indoors as well as several on the street. Serrano Panini - Decent panini but there was a need for some acidity to break up the monotony Mixed vegetables soup - Leek, tomato, onion, eggplant, zucchini - This was an amazing soup. Yes it is summer, but I could eat this soup every day. The fruit and bread that came with it was a nice surprise 14 Euro for a sandwich and a cup of soup, but you can't beat the location. I highly recommend this as a good stop while walking around Brugge!

Marie E.

Yelp
You Have Got To stop here when you visit. It is only open part of the day. Never for dinner. They make & offer several soups. Some are always available while others change with availability of ingredients or time of the year. You can NEVER go wrong with any of their great smelling, mouth watering delicious soups, fantastic bread or salads. The price will shock you as well. Be sure to stop and after you do you will be telling everyone about "Soup".

Ralph E.

Yelp
What a fantastic place! Yes it is very small but I would call it quaint! There are usually 2 or 3 soups available that are made from SCRATCH and they definitely deliver on taste. You get a large bowl with a cup of shredded cheese , crouton crackers, slice of bread with butter and some fruit for about 9 euro. They have combo with sandwich but the sandwich was huge so I just went for the soup only. Definitely a must stop when in the beautiful city of Brugges.

Lissete D.

Yelp
This is a teeny tiny place, but huge on quality & value. I mean, it is really small. Feels like you're eating at someone's kitchen table. You order at the counter, grab a seat and they bring the food out to you. We each had a combo for about 9€ each. The beer is cheap too. The combo comes with a large bowl of soup, 1/2 a panini, bread , butter, croutons, parm cheese, and a banana. The soup without the panini is enough, but we are fatties. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. We had both the tomato & the leek soup, fantastic! The paninis were awesome as well. Their bread is the bomb! I could eat that bread all day, every day. They are only open for lunch, so don't hesitate.

Mike C.

Yelp
After a long night of Belgian beer tasting, I wanted something easy on the stomach, but delicious. Soup was perfect! I went with the lunch special: Mushroom Soup with a panini. Everything was delicious! **Note: They are closed on Wednesday. Update: Returned for another visit and it was just as excellent!

Michelle M.

Yelp
Soup is a great spot to grab a quick, cheap, and tasty lunch near the Belfry Tower. My husband, sister and I ordered the lunch special which included a bowl of soup of our choice with cheese and crouton garnishes, 1/2 of a panini sandwich of our choice, bread and butter, and a small cup of strawberries. The lunch special is a great deal at only 8.5€. There are about half a dozen paninis and three or four soups on the menu. I selected the tomato soup and a goat cheese panini for the lunch special and loved the soup and sandwich. We almost ate here again, but we had scheduled a beer tour on the other side of town so we didn't get the chance to have lunch here a second time. Would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a cheap and delicious lunch near Market Square and the Belfry.

Ron S.

Yelp
This is THE place! Small place with fresh made soups in Large bowls. Soup comes served with a small cup of shredded cheese and crouton/crackers as well as a slice of bread and butter and a piece of fruit (seasonal selections) and all for UNDER 10 Euro. There is also a soup/sandwich combo. The sandwiches looked huge to be so I just had soup. AMAZING ! There are only about 7 tables inside but there are some tables outside to enjoy the goings on while you dine. They are QUICK here too. You may sit and enjoy and take your time but if you want a quick, healthy meal for a great price you just have to give this place a try !

Liz S.

Yelp
Great place to grab a quick meal under 10 euro. It's nothing fancy, but it was tasty and served fast. Expect options like ham and cheese or caprese for sandwiches, and potato-leek or chicken noodle for soups. It was also served with free bread and shredded cheese, making it extra filling for the value. We were all quite happy with our soups and sandwiches. It's located down a picturesque little alley close to the major sights, and there's outdoor seating if the weather's nice. It's a smaller place so I wouldn't roll in with a whole tour group, and I would go on the earlier side if you can.

Shunda B.

Yelp
During our tour - my tour guide suggested this place even though it was very few seating and please note; they won't bring your food if you're not seating in their area. Personally I would suggest just doing a whole sandwich - honestly I forget which kind I had but everyone said theirs were good and for the price of 6 Euros (you can't beat it). There was only two people but their teamwork was great; I would've been a little happier if lady dealing with food wouldn't have switched to the register and then back to food without washing her hands (Yes she touched the food, then money/card, and back to the food). Back I guess when in Rome (or Belgium) - you take it as it is. Happy Eating! PS - I still would go back!

Nikki J.

Yelp
The soup here is delicious and I love the full platter of fruit, croutons, and cheese they serve. It's run by a sweet family and you can tell! :)

Alex H.

Yelp
If you want quick and easy lunch in Bruges, come here. It's a soup and sandwich joint. The food comes fast (unlike most Belgian meals that take two hours). The soup is a generous portion and comes with bread, butter, and strawberries. I had the tomato and it was great (came with some Parmesan and little croutons too). They offer a half panini and soup option too, but make note that this is an entire portion of soup with half a panini (not 1/2 and 1/2). This was a much needed break in the Belgian food tour - a meal without frites!

George F.

Yelp
A nice spot for a quick healthy meal. It's just around the corner from the belfry. I went with the leek soup and serrano sandwich. My wife had the mushroom soup and franca sandwich. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The service is very good but the place is quite small and cramped. It's well worth a stop.

Arne C.

Yelp
Lovely soup with a panini and a few strawberries as dessert, while sitting in the sun in a quiet side street of the "grote markt" and sipping a good old "Brugse Zot" beer. Highly recommended, even if there is a little wait!

Patricia D.

Yelp
Small delightful spot with very fresh, delicately flavoured soups and sandwiches. Delicious! The owner herself took our order. I had the cauliflower soup and my husband had the tomato soup with 1/2 a Greca panini. Everything served with extremely fresh crusty bread, miniature homemade croutons, grated cheese and a sweet small serving of tiny strawberries dusted with powdered sugar. Highly recommend this shop.

Carolina E.

Yelp
If it's cold and you want to eat well. Get a soup here. Pretty delicious. Service was nice and paninis were warm and delicious. Good lunch menu. There is a variety of soups and also ask for the soup of the day, that may not be listed. This will assure you get something fresh, special and on season.

Tina C.

Yelp
What a great spot to grab a warm bowl of soup on a cold day! Made fresh. It was delicious. The sandwich was really good too. Small space, nice people working the front, good food made within minutes. LOVED the pumpkin soup.

Umut B.

Yelp
Excellent home made fresh soup. Took vegi soup it was great! Owner is also sweet. She first cooks then servers. Small cute place for quick lunch

Chang L.

Yelp
Unfortunately I did not have a 5 star experience as many of the other reviewers. I was expecting big flavors, but soups fell flat for me. I tried the tomato, leek, and pumpkin. The most disappointing aspect was the service. I found the lady I interacted with very rude and impatient. She overcharged me 10 euro and gave me lots of attitude about her miscounting the number of items ordered. The overall experience did not give me the warm and fuzzies.

Vianca C.

Yelp
We ordered mushroom soup and onion soup - delicious, good portion, not expensive! Perfect for the chilly weather!

Lisa H.

Yelp
You know a place is great when we've eaten there twice. It's very small with an outside seating area tucked into a side street off the Markt. I had the leek soup and my husband tried the tomato soup and a panini. All were excellent! Fast service. But you need to order inside before you sit outside.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
Can't get over how cozy and adorable my experience here was. Most importantly, the food is wholesome and delicious -- truly worth the visit. It really seems like the owner puts a lot of love into this place. This was the perfect lunch stop on a chilly, rainy day in Bruges. My husband and I both got the lunch special, which is a bowl of soup with a half panini for 9.50. I got the leek soup with a half Serrano panini and my husband got the champagne mushroom soup with the Serrano. In addition to those items, you get little cups of croutons, cheese, two slices of bread, butter, and fruit. The portions were so generous! The soup was fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of spices. I was very impressed! I would come here all the time if I lived here.

Robert N.

Yelp
Very quaint place. Ate here for lunch after Belfort tour. It's right around corner.

Keith L.

Yelp
Incredible good deal on a organic wholesome lunch. The quality of the food here is in a class of its own for taste, style, price and fast service. For 10.50 euro you get a choice of 4 homemade soups, 1/2 panini grille pressed, bread with butter and a apple. Soup and bread alone is almost enough for a meal but do yourself a favor and try the panini they are wonderful. Seating inside and out after you place your order and get number they will bring it to you.

Hollis W.

Yelp
Soup rocks! €9.50 for a soup and 1/2 panini combo and €6 for soup- Im in. Let it be known, each option comes with bread, shredded cheese and homemade croutons for the soup, as well as fruit. The croutons were really really good. I got the pumpkin soup and it was good but not super flavorful- I think better off to order one of the mainstays instead of this rotating special. Anyway, they put everything on a cute tray for you and you can sit inside or out. Delightful experience that was within my budget. **€10 credit card minimum

Neekul D.

Yelp
Favorite meal in Bruges -- very nice people and excellence food. Needed a simple and hearty meal after much traveling.

Maryanna O.

Yelp
This little place is awesome! We had a soup with side bread and strawberries for 6euros. We regretted not to get the option of half panini (8.50euros). The place is homie and the food is delicious. It is perfect if you are looking for a healthy lunch. This place is perfect for veggie's lovers. Also the lady that help us was very kind and pleasant! Thumbs up!

Nick C.

Yelp
Super cute, hard to find spot in tourist-clogged Bruges with nicely presented soup and sandwich combos. Ours even came with sides of fresh tiny strawberries. Minus a star for the fact that my soup was luke-warm.

Rich N.

Yelp
Great soup and panini Restaurant for lunch. The leek soup and Serrano panini was great to eat. We are here on chilly day so the soup combo works great for us. Others in the group got the soup and panini combo and where also pleased.

Rita B.

Yelp
Great soup--make sure that you top it off with the provided cheese. Paninis were so delicious that we had to order a second round! Clean restroom, too.

Erica L.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious! However, there were dirty dishes/trays on nearly all the available tables. Thank goodness it's winter or the smell of rotting food would have been unbearable. People kept walking up and onsite of several available seats- would keep walking. They only had two people working- both in the kitchen. Better management would have been to hire someone to simply clear tables/wash dishes. What a shame because the food was fresh and tasty.

Kristen M.

Yelp
We loved Soup so much we went three days in a row for lunch! I tried the asparagus, leek and vegetable soups - all were excellent and I can't pick a favourite. The lunch combo is the way to go because you get half a panini (which is great for dipping into your soup). Side strawberries was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and service was quick. But you do need to order and pay before snagging a table so don't worry if you arrive and there are few indoor seats - places opened up quickly each time we went.

Grace S.

Yelp
Souper delicious. Good lunch special. Came here with a group of 5 and it we had to split up so it's a better place for 4 or less. Everything we got was good even the side of fruit was ripe and amazing. Bread on the panini was crisp and so good

Tania E.

Yelp
One of the best quick eats small restaurants in Bruges! We loved it with my friends. The staff was really fast even they were so many people that are waiting to seat. They served us immediately and we are waiting just 10 seconds. The soup was great for a cold day. We got the deal with soup menu +panini for 9,50€ and we were full after our lunch! If you visit Bruges don't miss this place !

Stewart P.

Yelp
Great little spot with quick service and fair prices for high quality food just off Markt. I had half sandwich and soup plus a large bottle of water. Good for watching people go by also. You should try this place.

Linda W.

Yelp
A local told us to eat here!!! Wonderful soup, bread and panini. Gotta stop here for lunch .

Michael B.

Yelp
Soup was fantastic! Would highly recommend getting the soup + panini combo. Great views of the square if you sit outside too!

K C.

Yelp
I got the veggie soup I think. It was only 6 euro. The soup and bread was good! It's a bit pricy for a small bowl of soup. I'll say that it will only make you full if you are not super hungry. The place was tiny but there's sitting area outside. Bring cash!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
This place was excellent and perfect if you don't want to spend a ton of money on lunch in Brugge. The restaurant is very small inside but their is also an outside area. I got the leek soup and half of a panini. The leek soup was very good and the panini I got had eggplant, cheese and tomato on it. All for around €9. Can't go wrong there!

Noah's S.

Yelp
Even though it's by the square, this place isn't a tourist trap. Highly recommend for cheap soup and paninis.

D A.

Yelp
Great place for a reasonable lunch in Brugge. Food was delicious, service was a bit slow as the line to order moved along at a crawl. Charming outdoor seating.

Christy D.

Yelp
This was an amazing lunch for the price! A banana, big bowl of soup with croutons and cheese, and 1/2 panini for 9.50! And it was delicious too!!

Y A.

Yelp
Cute little spot with simple and good food: Soup and paninis. It's a great find amongst touristy traps with not so great food and totally overpriced. Cash only.

Julianne C.

Yelp
The soup is absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the place is tiny and therefore not much seating. My friends and I waited for a table and were not disappointed. For the price, you can't beat it! Definitely recommend!

Preston G.

Yelp
Great tasting soup and paninis made with fresh homemade care and ingredients. Friendly and helpful staff. Small amounts of seating inside and outside.

Ketrin T.

Yelp
It was a cold day, and we wanted something warm and comforting. This place was the right choice! We had tomato and veggie soup, and it was very tasty and filling. (You get a soup, croutons, cheese, butter and bread, strawberries with powdered sugar)

Noah J.

Yelp
Really great deal for lunch: half a panini, bowl of soup, fruit and bread for only 9.50 euro. Tomato soup is absolutely fantastic and the panini was delicious as well, we tried the Serrano. No complaints at all!
