Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli

We stayed 3 nights at the Al Bidda Boutique Hotel in our way back to Australia. Check in went smoothly, we were offered an upgrade, with a terrace for and extra $40 AU /day, so we took that. Later we found out that our original hotel we booked was under construction, so hence the upsell. We were happy with our very large spacious room, bathtub and terrace….. however the terrace was locked the entire time and unusable due to construction, so another misleading statement. The decor is tired, and needs updating…marble bathrooms need overhauling. The rooms are as cool as you can make them and are super dark. The beds are super large, comfortable and great for sleeping. Overall everyone was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Ansar, especially went out of his way to help us change the pickup time of our airport transfer, and kept us updated continuously. It’s not usual to alter a transfer time once it’s been booked, but Ansar made it happen. Thank you Ansar 🙏🏻 our trip to the airport was very comfortable.

had a wonderful experience during my stay. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. Housekeeping by Omer was excellent — the room was always spotless and well-maintained. At the reception, Yasin was very helpful and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The security Sabir was attentive and made us feel safe throughout our stay.

We stayed at the Souq hotel to get closer to the local culture, and the experience was excellent! The hotel is very pleasant. Al Najd, where we stayed, has beautiful, traditional architecture. The staff were all very attentive. Ansar was very attentive and helpful, always waiting to give us a ride around the Souq. Ebtsaam welcomed us warmly. Everyone is very hospitable, and the city is breathtaking! We hope to return soon!

My stay at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli, specifically at AL Nājd, was truly an outstanding experience. The hotel combines elegance, comfort, and Qatari charm perfectly. My room was beautifully arranged, always spotless, and cleaned with great attention to detail. Whenever I needed anything, the staff were quick to respond and always very professional. A special mention goes to Ansar, who made my stay even more memorable. He guided me with care, helped me find my way around, and was always available whenever I needed assistance. His hospitality and respectful attitude made me feel very comfortable and safe as a woman traveling alone — something I deeply appreciated. The Souq Waqif itself is a wonderful place to explore. It’s full of life, local culture, and beautiful shops selling perfumes, spices, gold, and traditional Qatari clothing. There’s even a drumming area nearby where you can experience traditional music — a truly special atmosphere. I also loved relaxing in the small cafés tucked inside the Souq. The metro station (Souq Waqif Station) is just a short walk away, making it very easy to reach other parts of Doha. The metro system is modern, clean, and safe — a great way to travel around the city. Overall, my stay at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels was exceptional. The staff were kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was convenient, and all the facilities were excellent. What I loved most was the behavior of the staff like Bell boy Fahad and security guard Sabbir— they were extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I was warmly welcomed and treated so kindly at Souq Waqif Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — you only have to ask for something and they take care of it right away. My room was spacious, spotless, and even more beautiful than I expected. I’m truly thankful for how well I was treated and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The hospitality and kindness here really made my stay special I would like to mention that Mr. Aman was extremely kind and very helpful during my stay would like to thank Mr. Ansar and Mr. Nawaz for their kindness and helpfulness. They always did their work professionally and with great care. Truly amazing people!

What a wonderful hotel! People really care about you and give you all the attention. Very spacious room, with everything you need. Very well located at Souq Waqif, at walking distance of several attractions. Superb breakfast services. A must go. Special thanks to Ansar, out host at the hotel. Very gentle.
