Discover the Falcon Souq in Doha, a stunning market brimming with trained falcons, unique architecture, and the world's only dedicated falcon hospital.
This is a veterinary hospital that treats specially birds. If you wanna see falcons here's the ideal place in Doha. Falcons can be seen even outside of the hospital. I didn't have time to go into the hospital to observe. But was able to capture few close ups of the falcons.

One of the coolest places I’ve visited in my life. Who would have thought of a falcon hospital ? Love this

It’s a unique experience to visit falcon hospital. Only Qataris can own falcons.

Nice to watch the birds and the interactions between potential buyers and sellers. Very atmospheric and exotic for someone not from the Middle East.

Located next to Souq Waqif, the Falcon Souq is definitely a place to visit. I went there in the morning at around 0800 and it was pleasantly quiet and an excellent time to stroll around and take pictures. Most of the shops allowed me to go inside to look at the falcons and to take pictures. I also visited the Falcon hospital - apparently the only dedicated falcon hospital in the world.
The market itself has an interesting architecture / building style.
There are some beautiful horses too and the view of Doha skyline, the water and Dhows (traditional boats) just outside the Souq is stunning.

A mix feeling on this one. Part of their culture is great to see them taking care of falcons. On the other hand, having them with eyes closed or even sewing their eyes shut is but sad. Good to experience and look around. We went very early morning, non-one around but people in shops let us talk to them and look around.

Really interesting. I managed to get a tour of the hospital facility and it was an eye-opening experience! Saw the collection of discarded feathers they have organised by species and length and # order so that should a falcon with injured wings or broken feathers come in, they can treat it by replacing that specific feather. There are also labs for blood works and scans to determine the health issues before they advise on treatment and medication.
