Fantastic Sunday lunch, although given the number of courses that's an understatement. With the multiple starter courses it's much more than a Sunday lunch. Once we get past the home made bread & wild garlic butter, the beautiful kale salad, the fish bites, and moules mariniere to the main course, the beef was juicy, the gravy rich, and potatoes roasted to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate, and how this place isn't fully booked out is a travesty. Not cheap, but not just Sunday lunch either. Very special.

Popes in for dinner very nice fresh quality food, came back for the Sunday Road and was one of the best roast ever.

Wonderful lunch here, we stopped in on the off-chance to treat ourselves for our 10 year wedding anniversary whilst visiting St. Ives and were lucky enough to be the only people dining in at the time. The waiter was a lovely chap, attentive but not overly so. Perfect! The foccacia was lovely and warm and the pickles were sharp, crunchy and tangy. The asparagus pea & mint risotto was EXCELLENT, as was the crab, very fresh. The fish was beautiful also, and if we could have had a vat of the chicken butter chive sauce it came with, it still wouldn't have been enough, so good! Highly recommend!

Excellent seafood. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the fresh oysters, served in their purest, natural form. These gems of the sea were incredibly fresh, we ordered three different favours, natural, Thai dressing and shallot vinegar, all were excellent fresh and delicious. Accompanying the oysters was a delightful Cornish dressed crab and lobster, both crab and lobster were both tender and succulent. Overall the meal was a true testament to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs. Every element on the plate was fresh , well prepared, and perfectly balanced, making for an unforgettable dinning experience.

This was an excellent dining experience as the food was delicious plus excellent customer service. The fish was cooked to perfection and the various tapas were delicious - compliments to the chef. The atmosphere of the Source Kitchen is subdued, quiet and soothing allowing for pleasant conversations to take place rather than fighting against 'background music'. They were also very accommodating with our two small dogs. We would definitely go back again - highly recommended.

This food find in St Ives was amazing! The wine was great and the food was even better. The shared pickle plate was delightful. The mussels, as well as the, risotto were some of the best I’ve had- absolutely delicious. Both the waitress and the chef were very kind and personable. Highly recommend!

Nipped in for lunch on a lovely day round St Ives. The waiter was very attentive explaining the menu options available. Opted for a flatbread, hummus, a large salad with Ortiz Tuna, sardines and roasted potatoes. We shared all the dishes which were all extremely nice - the salads being my favourite. My husband also had a meringue dessert which, of course, I had to try. Lovely little restaurant with fresh and well cooked produce. Would highly recommend.

The quality of the food is undoubtedly really really good, although massively overpriced. I don’t mind the concept of ‘small plates’, but a small plate has to come at a smaller price. The quantity for the price just isn’t appropriate and the quality of the food didn’t justify such an inflated cost, there are plenty of restaurants in St Ives (see St Eia just down the road or Porthminster Beach Cafe) serving quality food at a similar price point, but with a serving size that won’t result in you going hungry. Service was ok, but was difficult to hear our server due to the loud music, not too much of a complaint, I thought the music was actually quite nice and added to the atmosphere. The way the food is served might not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s sharing plates, but they come out seemingly randomly, with sometimes large gaps between dishes, at this price point I’d expect a bit more thought behind this, it feels lazy and cheap, like Wagamamas. I thought the atmosphere was great, small, intimate, the chef comes out and serves the plates personally, the place has a really nice feel to it. The door was propped open which meant there was a bit of a draft and staff were more than accommodating when we asked them to close it. TLDR; Good food, stupidly overpriced, tiny portions, good atmosphere, friendly staff.
