Absolutely appalling – avoid at all costs.
This was the worst “hotel” experience I’ve ever had. For €260 a night, I expected a clean, comfortable stay. What I got instead was a filthy room, curtains that looked like they hadn’t been washed in years, and no heating—despite it being 14°C in Paris. When I asked, I was told they had “turned it off for summer.” The building is old, the windows are paper-thin, and the cold and street noise poured in all night.
The response from the hosts was even worse. They were rude, aggressive, and made no effort to help. When I asked for a solution, they handed me a disgusting used blanket with visible stains.
There weren’t even any coffee capsules in the room—I had to go ask the kitchen. A small detail, but emblematic of the general negligence and cost-cutting. It’s clear the owners are trying to extract as much money as possible from guests while providing the bare minimum in return.
This hotel is a scam. It should be investigated, if not shut down. There is no excuse for charging luxury prices for what is essentially a dirty, hostile guesthouse. Avoid at all costs.
Edit: The woman replying to this message is not telling the truth. I am a young pretty solo female traveler who just wanted a safe and warm hotel. Instead I was met with aggression and disrespect. The notion that I would stain a blanket I needed because I was cold is preposterous. The building is old and was not climatized - she simply said that she won’t turn on the heating in summer (even when it’s 14 degrees). Everything else she said is untrue - I had to ask the kitchen for coffee, and her going to the police while she mistreated me is a threat and a lie. Mastercard refunded me for this. Just read all the other negative reviews here.
