What a lovely little gem in a beautiful Paris neighborhood. The hotel has a warm, welcoming feel, and what really sets it apart is that it’s family-run. You can tell right away how much care goes into making guests feel at home. A big thank you to Baptiste and Ilham, who were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They made everything easy and comfortable, which really made a difference. For anyone planning to visit, I’d recommend having breakfast on the terrace upstairs. It’s a peaceful spot and a great way to start the day. Definitely one of my favorite moments from the trip. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Paris.

I had a beautiful stay in this guesthouse in the 16th. The building is stunning and full of character — a really unique place to stay in Paris. The area was also a highlight: quiet, charming, and well-connected. From the moment I arrived, the hosts were warm and welcoming, even bringing me a glass of my favourite wine. The bed was incredibly comfortable — genuinely the best I’ve ever slept in away from home. Even though I don’t usually eat breakfast early, the host had everything thoughtfully prepared, which I really appreciated. A great experience all around. Highly recommend, I will visit again and next time for longer!

Appalling experience with a dirty, dark and cold room and extremely unhelpful and hostile hosts. As a young woman traveling alone, I kindly asked the hosts if they could turn on the heating, as it was only 14 degrees outside and the building is old with windows that are not cold nor soundproof. The hosts got aggressive and refused to turn on the heating and gave me a dirty, very stained and obviously used blanket instead. There were stains on multiple surfaces in the room, an obvious sewage smell and no coffee capsules were present in the room. This guesthouse charges luxury hotel prices but offers low rate amenities. To avoidd at all costs for solo travelers, couples or families.

Absolutely appalling – avoid at all costs. This was the worst “hotel” experience I’ve ever had. For €260 a night, I expected a clean, comfortable stay. What I got instead was a filthy room, curtains that looked like they hadn’t been washed in years, and no heating—despite it being 14°C in Paris. When I asked, I was told they had “turned it off for summer.” The building is old, the windows are paper-thin, and the cold and street noise poured in all night. The response from the hosts was even worse. They were rude, aggressive, and made no effort to help. When I asked for a solution, they handed me a disgusting used blanket with visible stains. There weren’t even any coffee capsules in the room—I had to go ask the kitchen. A small detail, but emblematic of the general negligence and cost-cutting. It’s clear the owners are trying to extract as much money as possible from guests while providing the bare minimum in return. This hotel is a scam. It should be investigated, if not shut down. There is no excuse for charging luxury prices for what is essentially a dirty, hostile guesthouse. Avoid at all costs. Edit: The woman replying to this message is not telling the truth. I am a young pretty solo female traveler who just wanted a safe and warm hotel. Instead I was met with aggression and disrespect. The notion that I would stain a blanket I needed because I was cold is preposterous. The building is old and was not climatized - she simply said that she won’t turn on the heating in summer (even when it’s 14 degrees). Everything else she said is untrue - I had to ask the kitchen for coffee, and her going to the police while she mistreated me is a threat and a lie. Mastercard refunded me for this. Just read all the other negative reviews here.

After reading so many reviews here (positive and negative) I decided to book anyway with my wife. Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience. We did not find the hotel comfortable nor clean, and there was a lot of street noise. The receptionist Ilhaim is unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. I am posting under a different name since you seem to dismiss guests for posting under aliases. I don’t recommend staying here. I would take the negative reviews seriously and I assume the positive one are bought to inflate ratings. We were very disappointed

The staff was extremely friendly. The building is made like a Parisian dream and the breakfast was just to good. Definitely our stay was just pure pleasure.

Stayed at this hotel for the second time, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. It’s a fantastic place with a warm, familiar atmosphere. The host is incredibly friendly and flexible, ensuring a comfortable stay. Located in a peaceful area, it’s just a short walk to the metro and charming local restaurants. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient experience!

Based on the description, I expected this place to be a hotel, but it was a small family run bed-and-breakfast, and was completely misrepresented in its description. Further, the room was dirty, the bathroom had water leaking from it, and the location of the property was terrible.
