In terms of this place, you get what you pay for. If you plan on it being a resort, it will not give you that vibe, but as long as you are in miami, it will always be miami. There's a general mop throughout the building daily, as well as rained allot, so slip resistant shoes would be a great suggestion.
The staff are more like fellow travelers, rather than general staff. There was a major fire while I was there, and we received no real assistance from anyone at that point. All in all, it was an experience, and if they could remodel it, I would probably go back
