South Currigee Campground / Kiosk

We come every year, it's always a fantastic holiday. Sometimes it rains or is windy but that just weeds out the weak 🤣. It's never cold. Beautiful white sand, blue water, kids can swim and fish, kiosk has good coffee, ice blocks, ice and easy Mac. The toilet block is always clean with powerful very hot showers. Bbq area is big, covered with 3 stainless steel BBQs and the best spray& wipe cleaner EVER. People are really great about keeping it clean after use. It's very family oriented, so lots of kids about and it's pretty quiet at night. There's jetskis, and biscuits and boats and yachts going past. Some billionaire yachts too! The shacks aren't powered or the sites but there's power in the toilet block and everyone charges phones etc there. Most campers have solar set ups. The shacks are awesome. Insulated and double glazed with lots of screened windows to open for breeze. Really comfortable beds with good soft linen and good towels. Plenty of shade from trees at the camp, a volleyball net, and a big lawn area with beanbags and umbrellas for lounging. The staff are so nice. Really lovely people running a tight operation. The whole place is really well looked after and you feel looked after. We have come 4 years in a row now and will continue because it's just such a good camping beach holiday for the kids.

We hired the beachfront cabin for 2 nights and were extremely impressed with the location and facilities. We knew there was no electricity available but that was not an issue, there is a microwave available and gas BBQ's. Amenities are modern and very clean, and the 2 on site managers we met are both friendly and helpful.|Looking forward to our next visit

Tipplers is a home away from home. Only accessible via water craft. They offer a ferry for those that want to still enjoy this wonder place without a boat. Upon entering the island you are greeted with nice golden sand and wonderful trees. There are public Jetties all along the frontage of the island for easy drop offs or pick ups. Once landing on the island you walk up and discover Tipplers Cafe. The cafe offers Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snacks, coffee, juices, alcohol and COCKTAILS! The staff are friendly, and always busy. It would be very hard to find anyone not hustlin. They run it very well considering the volume of orders they receive. (During the summer periods it does get extremely busy over the weekends and holiday periods). There is plenty of seating, a table tennis, playground, pool table and amenities within the vicinity. Scott and Bec are absolutely amazing people who have always made us feel welcomed and have accommodated all our needs when we have visited. Their hard work and dedication is definitely noticed in all aspects of the park. The camping grounds, BBQ areas, Kitchen and Amenities are always at a high clean standard. They offer non powered camping sites from beachfront and beyond. They also offer non powered cabins (shipping container style) that have linen and bedding supplied that are extremely comfortable. Get ice, wood and food delivered right to your campsite as well! Overall, I love this place and hope i get to enjoy it for a while more.

Excellent location and great facilities. Very clean and well maintained, Georgie and Caleb are excellent hosts and the added touch of barista coffee and big screen for the football went down a treat. Thanks Georgie and Caleb for all your hard work. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot and great service. Caleb and Georgie were simply amazing, very friendly and hospitable; from keeping the facilities impecable to setting up the projector at night for movies and the NRL grand final. Will surely be back!!!!!!

Caleb and Georgie were excellent as always ensuring we had a great stay. The big screen on the lawn showing sporting events and movies was a fantastic addition to an already amazing place.

We had a great stay, friendly staff, clean facilities. The four bunk hut was fine, clean, bring your sleeping bag and pillow. The BBQs took a while to get started probably due to windy conditions.
