South Currigee Campground / Kiosk

Excellent location and great facilities. Very clean and well maintained, Georgie and Caleb are excellent hosts and the added touch of barista coffee and big screen for the football went down a treat. Thanks Georgie and Caleb for all your hard work. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot and great service. Caleb and Georgie were simply amazing, very friendly and hospitable; from keeping the facilities impecable to setting up the projector at night for movies and the NRL grand final. Will surely be back!!!!!!

Caleb and Georgie were excellent as always ensuring we had a great stay. The big screen on the lawn showing sporting events and movies was a fantastic addition to an already amazing place.

We had a great stay, friendly staff, clean facilities. The four bunk hut was fine, clean, bring your sleeping bag and pillow. The BBQs took a while to get started probably due to windy conditions.

We found the cabins as advertised. They were clean and tidy. The showers were delightfully hot on very cold nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. |We all really enjoyed the coffees which were nice and hot and well made. The chips too are worth trying.

Great spot to relax, catch up on real conversations and actually spend time with the family. No phones(reception is good but we turned them off), no tv. Just good old board games and walks on the beach, threw in a line and a crab pot.. Caught two meals. Freshest fish ever. |Site neighbours were friendly, I'm pretty sure any rowdiness or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated. |Some sites a little more cramped than others but overall you have your own space. |Only drawback is the boat traffic on the Broadwater but during peak holiday times it's to be expected. Just make sure you anchor/tie fore and aft. |Being so close to the gold coast has its advantages, Runaway Bay shopping centre has pontoons for boaties to tie up to while going shopping..(Ten minutes away).|Wildlife comes out at night, wallabies roam the bush and the walking tracks and are common enough for the kids to spot. |All in all a welcome break in an easily accessible area. |And yes, the hot shower was great.|We have booked in advance for later in the year for a longer stay.|Caleb and Georgie are wonderful hosts and make themselves available to the guests.|Can't fault anything there except the odd camper who doesn't clean up after themselves..but it's a whole lot better than many other places we've stayed.|Thanks for the memories.

Amazing place for the family. Stayed in a 6 berth shack and it was comfortable. ||The camp managers keep everything clean and so nice. ||Having a campfire right outside your door is perfect.

I love the experience of South Stradbroke Island Caleb the Ranger is fantastic. |The house we stayed in was in pristine condition and maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay there.....|Either in the self contained house, cabins or camping..
