South Friars Bay

My favorite beach in Saint Kitts. This stunning place is just a few minutes away from Timothy Hill. There are different bars along the beach. The water is so clear and perfect to cool off for a while.

Loved this place. Came on weekend, after 4. We saw turtles & stingrays. Beautiful beach, clear water with a wall of rocks a bit away from shore. That’s where all the fish are.

Don't listen to others - this is one of the best beaches on St Kitts. Get there early lunch time for a spot at the ship wreck. Further down the beach is less crowded. Godfather is a must!! Watch out for the reef - sharp edges will cut and there are urchins. Plenty to snorkel.

This is a nice beach. It's usually full on holidays because people go with their families for picnics, cook out etc. Great family lime and great view.

Had a wonderful time here at this beach! We rented some jet skis for an hour! Water was crystal clear and calm. This side of island is calm but the north side is rough enough to surf.

Beautiful. Expensive. Walk down the beach to cheaper food. Amazing food there.

You don't have to pay the bar to get into the beach. You just can't use their facilities but if you don't need umbrellas or chairs, you can definitely enjoy the beach without paying. Because of the volcano, the sand is not white. it's rather coarse and dark. The beach is absolutely beautiful for snorkeling. Reefs are easy to find and snorkeling is safe. Definitely recommend you to take your snorkeling gear. There are no boardwalk but there is a station to was the sand off your feet. Taxi is always available to take you to where you need to go - about $16 one way to the port, or to the beach.
