We had a wonderful stay at the South Gap Hotel. The room was modern, spacious, with a fully stocked kitchenette (microwave and full fridge, no stove), a big comfortable bed, great bathroom, and powerful air conditioner. The views from our room were beautiful! If they can accommodate, ask for a ground floor room, it's a walkout to the pool patio and that was great.
The best part of our stay was the staff. They truly made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. I have to thank Nicholas, one of the bartender/restaurant staff, for giving us exceptional customer service and going out of his way to make sure we were always confortable and fed! He even recommended excursions that really made our trip memorable. The front desk staff was also lovey.
The only issue I experienced was that the hotel was noticeably understaffed. The housekeeping staff took quite a while to get to our room, with staff missing our room entirely one of the days we requested cleaning. We could see the 1-2 housekeeping staff were doing their best so this did not make or break our experience.
