This is our third stay, and to be honest, it’s probably going to be the only place we ever stay (when not renting a villa anyway)
I genuinely feel that the hotel rating should be upgraded. The hotel is much more than a 3*
Staff - from the wonderful room maids, to the restaurant and bar staff and receptionists alike, the vibe is just joyful and helpful. We often leave a large tip at the end of the stay rather than daily.
Restaurant - the food is bloody fantastic and has been for the past 3 years. Not only is it great, with a wonderful selection, it is also really well priced. (Don’t tell the owner)
Bedrooms - honestly, due an update, especially the bedroom draws and kitchen draws, but they are extremely comfortable, nicely made up beds each day. The rooms are very clean. The shower pressure is awesome, and the aircon is always working great. The balcony’s overlooking the sea and pool are an absolute joy, something I miss every time we leave. The room maids, we just love them. They work so hard and are wonderful to chat too.
The Pool - HEAVEN - although I think some maintenance to the upper level of the perimeter would be very worth while investment, just to make it look spotless. I have claimed the left corner of the steps to sit in the shallow water and read, SO STAY AWAY.
By the way - the new sun lounger and furniture are sublime. You won’t even find this quality at Sandy Lane!
I’m going to tell you - for the money, you’re really NOT going to stay anywhere better. I have tried and it’s just not the same.
