A nice place with great atmosphere. We visited the place for dinner on our way from Yosemite. We had the Carnivore Pizza and Beer Cheese & Pretzels. They were able to customise the pizza for us - half original & half only with chicken & pepperoni. The pizza was delicious, cheesy and filled with flavour, along with massive chunks of chicken. The Pretzels were soft, warm and perfectly chewy- amazing on their own but dipping them in cheese took them to another level of deliciousness.

Food was delicious! Everyone was friendly but it was very very slow service. Took over 30 minutes for our appetizer (pulled pork) to come out during happy hour. Also ordered seared salmon and green pizza on cauliflower crust. All were amazing! Would be a good place to go if you’re enjoying a bunch of drinks before food but otherwise expect very long wait times

*Day 1* This is a great restaurant in Oakhurst. Whether you are staying in Oakhurst or exploring Yosemite, this is a great place to have some delicious, house made food. We tried beef burger, root beer (non-alcoholic) & chocolate browney for dinner. The food was very delicious and worth every penny. The waitresses (Heather) who served us and looked after us was very polite and helpful. Thank you South Gate 🍔 🙏 *Day 2* Because we really liked our first visit, we went to South Gate again and ate pizzas and fries. Pizzas were really tasty and generous portion sizes. The fries were tasty too. We also didn't forget to order root beer and shirley temple as well. We were served by a different waitress and she was super polite, friendly and helpful. This is a great sign of consistent customer care and authentic food making. If you are in Oakhurst, no need to look elsewhere if you want to eat good food, made, served by enthusiast/ caring people 😊

Great beer selection and delicious food. I really enjoyed the smash burger with sweet potato fries. Also the brussel sprouts were bomb! The prickly rick sour beer is below expectations. But their hazy IPA was phenomenal. I would definitely return.

My mom and I ate here last night and we loved our food. I got the ribeye steak and my mom got the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend eating here! 🤗🥰😋

Our server Heather was great with her service. We ordered the Honey Badger wheat bee and Oaktown Pecan brown. For food we had the Blu Tang burger and Black bean burger along with Pub fish and chips. The portion size were good! The options for beer were great 😃. Overall the fries were great and they had a lot of options for them. The veg black bean burger was not that great though and was extremely bland and the patty was very moist. For vegetarians the options are very limited.

Delicious, the food was so good. Customer service was excellent. Props to the chef. We had the rib eye, pork belly wraps and the wings along with the blonde gold digger beer.

Google
You come here for the beers, but stay for the food. One of the better menus at any brewery I've been to... and I've been to many across the country. Our server Mechaila was very friendly and helpful. The battered fish tacos were her recommendation and they were bomb!

Yelp
This place had everything you need. The service was amazing and the servers were kind and knowledgeable and upbeat. The food was really good and the steak and their burger choices were amazing as well as their clam chowder. The ambience was relaxing with indoor outdoor and bar seating of plenty. I would love to come back here many times in the future and bring more friends to enjoy their wonderful red ale and stouts. 5-Stars for supporting military and first responders by offering 10% discount

Yelp
If you're staying in Oakhurst/visiting Yosemite, make sure to stop here for heavenly bites and excellent craft beer. What I love most is that their expansive menu is seasonal and locally-sourced. My shishito smash burger was cooked to perfection. My only regret was choosing the clam chowder over fries! Our server was so friendly and helped us decide on what to try. It also seemed like the locals really enjoy this spot. I hope to come back soon!

Yelp
SGB Co. Where food, brews, and happy vibes collide in the tastiest way possible. The Pork Belly Banh Mi Wraps? Pure magic. Imagine crunchy Mexican chicharrón doing a happy dance with bold Thai flavors it's fusion perfection and my favorite side, hands down. The House-Smoked Pulled Pork Sando hit the spot, paired with a brews that took it to the next level. And those Beer-Battered Artichoke Hearts? Sweet caramelization and herb aioli made them an unskippable treat. Bonus points for a killer Happy Hour (2-5 PM, weekdays only) a perfect excuse to dive into their amazing beer and wine selection. Service is top-notch, the ambiance is cozy, and the menu even caters to vegans. South Gate Brewing isn't just a brewpubit's a flavor adventure you won't want to miss!

Yelp
Having too much fun here on their fantastic beers to leave a long review. Tenaya Red IPA and the pretzels and cheese are the PERFECT combo!

Yelp
We had a really nice late-lunch here after enjoying the nearby train. They have a lovely indoor area and patio, so depending on how the weather is treating you that day you have good options. The menu is really interesting; lots of unique options beyond your "typical" bar food along with fan favorites - we started with their soft pretzels (so buttery and delicious) and then I had their pork belly banh mi. I really enjoyed the banh mi - different than others I have had before, but in a good way. It was fresh, flavorful, and filling. Service was very friendly and attentive. Parking is available on-site or street if that is full.

Yelp
Review only for a couple of beers. We did not eat here, though there were some tasty sounding items on the menu (see picture). So my brother & I finished up some errands in Oakhurst, and he wanted to buy me a beer, so we landed here. Tasty beer (an IPA) and nice selection. Fairly quick service at the bar. The young man taking care of the bar dining area was quite friendly. It's too bad we were heading home for dinner, otherwise I would have like to have tried the banh mi. I'm also always willing to try a new place for wings. Hopefully I will get a chance next time we visit the area.

Yelp
Came here again after a few years. Still great food and beer. Don't miss this place if you're nearby. The fish and chips were great. The fish soft and juicy. Not too breaded, but still crunchy. The fish tacos were OK on their own, but the server was awesome enough to suggest their hottest wing sauce as a hot sauce and it was super tasty that way. Try it!

Yelp
After a weekend in Yosemite we decided to try South Gate Brewing Company, food menu with a lot of great options to try all of our food was very great, service was very well the ambience in the restaurant was very good family friendly they were able to accommodate party of six in a busy Saturday night.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Yosemite. This a low key brewery with some delicious burgers and other sandwiches. The staff were very accommodating and their service was above average. Their wings and burgers were solid. Don't be intimidated with their wait time, the line moves pretty quick.

Yelp
Best brewery, best beers, and awesome ambiance. Love South Gate Brewing. Friendly staff, good service, excellent food and beer.

Yelp
We traveled with our pet and picked this spot because its pet friendly. Went straight to the patio and ordered a drink. We weren't told that we needed to check in with hostess at the front entrance to order food. You can only order drinks through the patio window. Wish the staff at the window mentioned it or had a sign up. Tip: check in first with hostess at front to order food, if you come with a pet! Once we finally got called, our server Heather was very nice and helpful. She suggested food options and was the sweetest. The pepperoni pizza was a 8/10 and cheesy. The garlic fries are a must. You can share with a big group if you select the full size. The Crème brûlée was delicious. Definitely recommend this place when visiting with your pet.

Yelp
This place is consistently fantastic, offering delicious food, super friendly staff, great vibes, and a welcoming atmosphere. No matter what you order, everything is always incredibly tasty. I enjoyed my poke, and my husband loved his sandwich!

Yelp
Such a cute spot in town! We were staying about an hour out of Yosemite so we stumbled upon this place and had a marvelous time! Great selection of beers and food was delish. Definitely a must if visiting Yosemite!

Yelp
Visited South Gate on our way to Bass Lake for the weekend. We enjoyed a beer outside while waiting for our table. They have an outside window to order drinks and a nice patio area to hang out. We got seated and the service was great! Food was very good! We shared the smash burger and fries. We also took some beer home! Will definitely visit on our way through town again!

Yelp
3.5 stars as we were only able to get takeout because they were near closing. Had fish tacos and a burger which were both good but I do think we would have enjoyed it more if we were able to have it at the restaurant along with their beers.

Yelp
South Gate Brewing Company has a big parking lot and patio.  I can smell steaks smoking from the patio.  I ordered the fish and chips.  Pacific Cod was fresh and beer battered with a crunchy tempura batter.  I loved the juicy flaky cod and the light flavor of the fish plus the salty beer batter.  Fries were crunchy and I liked the seasoning. Nice waitress told me about how they make their own root beer which had a bold sarsaparilla flavor so I gave it a try.  Carbonation was subtle but the flavor was a very bold.  Tons of sarsaparilla, wintergreen, and vanilla flavor.  Good root beer. 2nd visit I tried the ribeye steak with sweet potato fries.  Sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside with a soft center.  I like the mix of sweet and salty flavors.  Ribeye steak was smoked before they finished cooking it.  Beef was tender and juicy with a really strong smoky flavor.  Was a bit like eating a smoked beef rib.  Very unique experience. Oakhurst is a lovely town and South Gate Brewing Company is my favorite spot to eat.  I loved the food and we got great customer service each visit from our waitress G.

Yelp
My boyfriend is a big supporter of Breweries, so of course we had to come check out South Gate during our Yosemite trip. Our waiter was very nice, helpful and attentive! We had the shrimp tacos, bbq burger and Banh MI Lettuce Wraps. Everything was great! We also had wine and their in house hazy IPA beer. When we arrive it wasn't as busy. This was around 5pm, but after 30 mins most tables were taken. Plenty of parking available. Highly recommend if you're around the area.

Yelp
My wife and I came for the first time during our visit to Yosemite National Park. We tried coming in on a Monday night around 6ish PM and we were told there was an hour wait. We decided not to stick around and find something elsewhere. A day or so later we came by once again and called ahead of time to ensure there wasn't a wait, which there wasn't. In the half an hour it took us to get to the restaurant after we called we got in and ended up waiting 30 min to be sat--moral of this info: this place apparently gets busy quickly, call ahead of time to see if there is a wait. The restaurant does have both indoor and outdoor seating, and we finally got sat at a table inside. Our server was nice and took our orders quickly. On the menu it states to expect a longer wait-time if you're ordering pizzas during "peak hours." We had been craving pizza all day and that's what we set our minds on. I ordered their "House Made Root Beer" to drink--it was sweet and good! Can't say I could point out a big difference from regular root beer. As an appetizer we decided to order their "Beer cheese Macaroni" - cavatappi pasta tosssd in their house beer cheese. It was cheesy, but I couldn't say there was anything too special about it. It was just okay. To eat, my wife and I shared the "Mountaineer Pizza"--House made Alfredo sauce, fennel pork sausage, applewood smoked bacon, wild mushrooms and mozzarella topped with parmesan and fresh basil. It did take 30 or so minutes from the time we ordered the pizza for it to actually come out. The pizza was good, not amazing, but good. The savoriness of the meats and balancing with the mushrooms provided good flavor. Overall we had an okay experience. Perhaps the burgers are the dishes to order here rather than the pizza. We would probably come back to try other menu options, but wouldn't consider this our favorite restaurant in Oakhurst.

Yelp
Great service from Joel! Thanks Joel! Great people skills. Cool place to have dinner with the family while in Bass Lake/Yosemite area. We waited 25 minutes for kids food and 30 minutes for our food after ordering. Not too bad.. My hubby said the Pepperoni Pizza was really great, 5/5 stars. My mom enjoyed her Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, she said 4/5 stars. The Kids Menu Hamburger was a small portion and just looked ok, my kids ate the burger and some of their fries. The house salad was 3/5 stars and I'd give their Steak Fries 4/5 stars. We will be back on our next Yosemite vacation. Thanks South Gate Brewing Company!

Yelp
We walked in and waited 40 min for a dinner here on a weekend trip to Yosemite. This was the best meal we had here all weekend. We got burgers and my daughter enjoyed the Mac and cheese they had so much we ordered her a second one. Outside they have a nice area of games and a bar while you wait for a table to open up.

Yelp
A short drive from Yosemite and the Tenaya Lodge where we stayed. The fries were amazing, crispy but still potato-y. The burger was pretty good, nice and thick patty and cooked to a true medium. The staff was so helpful, the menu is extensive and our server really took her time to recommend drinks for our flight. Our food came out quick about 10 mins after ordering. The staff was attentive and made sure our drinks were refilled.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place and it just wasn't for me. After a long day of hiking at Yosemite we were so excited to finally come to the famous South Gate Brewing spot in Oakhurst to enjoy a good carb loaded meal. We had come one time earlier in the week and there was a long wait, think and hour and a half. Nope, so we came back again, got seating within 30 minutes and were told that ordering pizzas were going to take a while. We've been craving pizza all week and went for it. Not the best option I guess? We went with the Mountaineer Pizza and the Beer Chasing Macaroni. They were a 3/5. The pizza is enough to share with another person, but get that extra side if not you'll probably leave hungry, but it was nothing special? Probably a little too salty for my taste. Same with the Mac&Cheese. I would have preferred it more cheesy, it was creamy but the cheese flavor for me seemed pretty full. I went with a glass of white wine to celebrate our long hikes, but I don't know, I expected more from this place and we really didn't want to do burgers because we had had a burger during the week. We came in on a weekday and it was so PACKED. Walked in at around 630, didn't get seated until 7ish and our food came out until like 730ish, I just remember thinking wow it's late to be eating a huge meal so maybe we got our food closer to 8. Heads up here, a lot of tourist is and large parties come to dine here! With Oakhurst being a small town, I can understand the buzz around this place - the vibes, the beer, the outdoor patio. Sure, but for me, we'll go with quality food + less wait time over the vibes anytime. Don't think we'll come back.

Yelp
Vegan (veggie) tacos with cashew cheese and vegan brat with kraut were delicious. Cold Rush IPA pairs perfectly.

Yelp
We definitely needed this reward after accomplishing the strenuous Vernal Fall hike! So glad I came across their Yelp page and decided to give them a try. Luckily we snagged the 2 open seats at the bar and was greeted with friendly service! We also made friends with some guys that were in town working on the construction sites. Such a friendly crowd here ! We ordered: 2 Smash Burgers was one of the best I've tasted (and apparently I've become a smash burger snob ). Fries tasted freshly made with the perfect crunch to it. Mac n Cheese was perfectly cheesy ! **the orders were a hefty size but we weren't complaining! We were able to have a second meal from our leftovers the next day . Beavertail Sour & Cloud Nine hazy . I mixed the two cause well, that's just what I like to do for a balanced taste sometimes (please don't judge me till you try it!) I didn't order the pork belly lettuce wrap but our new friends shared there order with me and it was so refreshing! Loved the vibe here . They had indoor and outdoor seating . If you're not sitting at the bar you have to order at the window from patio.

Yelp
While we stayed in Oakhurst we visited Yosemite. We've never been to this area so I did a little research to find food and this one we were really interested since we love craft breweries. We ended up eating here twice over our 4 days there and we were so pleasently surprised at how delicious the food was and also a great selection of beers.

Yelp
Loved this gastro pub that we stopped at on the way back from Yosemite. Service is fabulous and food even more fabulous! We had 2 pizzas which are homemade and you can watch as they are made. They were delicious. The other good all looked great too. The tap beer is also A1.

Yelp
Checked this spot after our final day in Oakhurst! Food was delicious. I ordered their garlic fries with South Gate burger. Definitely good burger that I paired along with their citrus moon sour. Y'all know I enjoy my sours! Service was a little slow, but I do not blame them as they were busy due to the Cowboys vs. Packers game. Loved this spot! Definitely adding it to my list to check out again!

Yelp
One of the better places to eat in town. Food was great, loved the soft pretzels. Beer cheese, nuf said. Staff was super nice and friendly. Nice bar area w tvs and music , really cool. Good beer selection, Will for sure eat here again.

Yelp
Visiting the area and we stopped in for dinner. Parking was easy to find and we were seated rather quickly. My party ordered the deadwood burger, the vegan brat and vegetarian pizza along with honey badger pale ale. Everyone enjoyed the food. Excellent flavors and the customer service was great. I appreciate the family atmosphere here. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Comfortable & casual place with both indoor and outdoor dining. I ordered a beer flight, which only comes with three 4-ounce pours for the ridiculous price of $11.50! So, 12 oz of beer for a $11.50. Worst yet, all three of beers I sampled were very average. Disappointing on all fronts. We ordered some brussels sprouts for an appetizer. They were the smallest brussels sprouts I had ever seen, but they were still tasty and the portion size was good. For dinner, we split The Mountaineer pizza. It arrived to the table less than 15 minutes from when we placed the order. Overall, I wasn't a huge fan of their pizza, save for the crust. I so wanted to love this place, but from a food and beer aspect, it was subpar for me. Service was adequate.
google avatar

DeeDee C.

Yelp
The staff at this place were very attentive and polite. The ambiance was nice and had a bit of a restaurant feel more than a brewery, so it was easy to talk with my boyfriend. The food was so good and the burger was huge! I loved the sauce for the sweet potato fries, too. It was nice to know they had cider on tap. The only negative thing I would have to say was the smell the venue had when we went inside was off-putting, but after a while, we couldn't smell it anymore.
google avatar

Yelp
Best beer, good food, good eat'n, we love you guys! Please do not remove the Canyonero Double IPA, it is the best tasting beer besides the Porter to me, keep this one. I always go for the classic Bahn Me, great exotic taste within the industrial-chic atmosphere here at South Gate. Highly recommend, best gastropub in the foothills.

Yelp
Came here with a group of 10 on a Sunday for late lunch. There was a 45 minute wait, but we were able to hang out outside and drink beers while we waited by the little ordering window. It went by fast! The service was very friendly. It's a popular family spot, and they seemed very accommodating to kids. There's plenty of space in the store itself. Beers: I got a Tomahawk imperial red beer and a stout. The red was very strong, like 9% ABV. You can definitely taste it and it created a buzz before my mail. The stout was good, although it felt heavy as I was drinking it during my meal. It had hints of coffee and chocolate. Hula Pork Fries: Garlic fries topped with smoked pulled pork, pineapple pico and fried egg topped with Hoisin Sticky Sauce, cilantro and green onion - We got this as an appetizer to share. Personally, I found the sauce to be too strong, and it tasted a bit burnt. Eating it with the non-dressed fries makes it balanced out more. The meat on top was fatty and rich, so I think this is something you should definitely share to avoid a food coma. Peaches & Cream Burger: Goat cheese, bacon, crispy shallot, peach gastrique, arugula, and rosemary aioli - This was a tasty burger! I didn't taste a shallot, nor peach that much, but the arugula was a fresh touch, and I could really taste the goat cheese with the big patty. The meat was delicious. Blu Tang Burger: Grass fed beef patty topped with blue cheese, caramelized onions, honey thyme butter, arugula and garlic mayo - The blue cheese shone through on this burger! My cousin got it. The caramelized onions, and the butter brought it all together. You can really taste the quality of the beef. I liked that they asked how you like your patties as well. Pacific Cod Fish Tacos: Wild caught Pacific Cod tacos with cabbage, green onions and fresh cilantro in corn tortillas with cilantro crema and house made salsa verde, battered - These tacos were ENORMOUS. Each person who ordered this couldn't finish it on their own. The pieces of fish were big and toppled with cabbage. I liked their chunks of fresh jalapenos too! Pub Fish and Chips: Honey Badger Wheat Ale battered, wild caught Pacific Cod served with fries and house made tartar sauce - Again, this was huge. It felt like a bigger, less dressed version of the fish in the tacos. My cousin was a fan of this! All of the sides of fries, both regular and sweet potato, were crispy and tasty! Went well with our entrees. The prices lean higher but I think it's justified in the sheer amount of food. We all had to walk it off afterwards and had a fat food coma in the car. I would recommend this spot for your trip to the Yosemite area! Great fuel to power your day in nature.

Yelp
Our love for the South Gate Brewing Company is being tested. It's one of our favorite places to go after a day out in Yosemite. Last Monday was no exception. After a fun-filled day in Yosemite Valley, my wife and I looked forward to South Gate brews and food. The brews were as good as ever. We sipped them as we waited for a table to free up, and we had our growler on deck to fill with South Gate IPA for home. Sadly, the food was very disappointing. Usually we opt for a burger, but this time we selected Beer Cheese & Pretzels followed by a Mountaineer pizza. The pretzels were okay, but the beer cheese was too runny and there was not enough of it for the 3 pretzel sticks. The pizza though was a disaster. As presented. it should never have been served. The base crust was about as thick as an uncooked corn tortilla, covered underneath with corn meal, under-baked. and about as floppy as a piece of paper tissue. Our server was embarrassed when we showed it to him, but it was not his fault. At first glance, the pizza looked not great but okay, and the Mountaineer topping was good (serve it on fettuccine). Management, especially in the kitchen, should know better than to let a substandard pizza go out to the restaurant. And this is not the first time we've gotten substandard food at South Gate. About a year ago, one of our party had the Southern Fried Chicken, but had trouble finding chicken in all the fried batter. That was bad, but worse, maybe it was a forewarning of an underlying problem in the South Gate kitchen, a lack of attention or care about the overall quality of the food that is served. We would really like to be able to look forward to our next stop at South Gate, but that is not the case right now.

Yelp
Great brewery! They had a nice selection of appetizers. The Pimento Cheese Crostinis and the Bear Cheese Pretzels were really good and enough for me to have leftovers. We enjoyed a flight of the Oaktown Pecan Brown, the Milky Way Stout, and the Deadwood Porter. My favorite was the Oaktown Pecan Brown. The hints of Pecan Pie made it amazing. The beer tender said it had won several awards. Another good one was the Milky Way Stout.

Marilyn G.

Yelp
This was our first time in Oakhurst, California and first time at South Gate Brewing. The food was fantastic. My husband loved the beer. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't comment on that. We had the pork belly banh mi wraps, beer battered artichoke hearts, beet and ricotta salad, and the mountaineer pizza. Everything was delicious. If we ever go back to Oakhurst we will definitely stop by again. The service and ambiance was great as well.

Lissette L.

Yelp
Service was terrible. I waited over 2 hours for my food. I came here very excited to try their food and beer. Unfortunately service was not really good. Our server took over 20 min to even acknowledge us. Not a family friendly place at all. Food was great and beers were amazing. Service really brought this down for us.

Yelp
After a strenuous day of hiking through Yosemite we drove here for some much needed dinner. The service was amazing. Our server was a young gentleman with a mustache. I wish I would have caught his name because he deserves all the kudos. He served us with a smile and helped my husband settle on his favorite pizza complete with his personal substitutions. The pizza was great and my smash burger was just was I needed after an exhausting day. Word of caution. They do get very busy. We showed up a little over an hour before closing time and they were no longer able to take customers so plan accordingly!

Yelp
Totally recommend you get the wings with the IPA sauce -- I got the double patty smash burger and added an egg. So perfectly cooked! This is a solid place in Oakhurst. The waiting area is very nice outside. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday night. You can order drinks from the outdoor waiting area -- great idea!

Yelp
After a long day of yosemite hiking, this is where i recommend you stop! We got the pecan beer and loved it! Wine selection was small but good. Get the mac and cheese it's to DIE for. We loved everything we got, honestly don't have anything but great things to say. The wait was long but we had a party of 5, worth it though! Service was great, ambiance was cozy and I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
We were in the area and wanted lunch. My son really wanted a beer. I yelped and we ended up here, fabulous choice! We waited about 10 minutes for a patio table for 5. My sons decided to get a gold digging blonde, he loved it. We ordered Deadwood burger 5 stars Pesto chicken 5 stars Bahn mi 4 stars Smash burger wrapped in lettuce 5 stars I don't usually like most French fries. These were so good. I was sad I substituted salad but my family shared with me. My husband substituted sweet potato fries. With the dip that comes with it... dang!! He told me with his eyes he had shared enough! Lol I also had a home brewed root beer. It was good but not 6 dollars good. The patio was perfect for us but inside and bar area looked fun too. I am very sure we will be back! One more cool thing- they brew gluten free beer.

Yelp
Was a great find in Oakhurst. The burgers were smacking, the staff was very attentive, and the beers were great. The burgers were well crafted and cooked to perfection. They had a great selection of beers to choose from. I would for sure recommend this place for anyone trying to get a elevated burger in the Oakhurst area.

Yelp
South Gate has potential to be excellent, but needs some refinement. We got there at opening and were seated in a few minutes. Our server was busy, but very attentive. Kitchen is very slow, in spite of only a few patrons. The pub pretzel and cheese was great! Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The side of picked jalapeños was great. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was good, but not great. The meat was stellar and there was plenty of it. Fried onions were great too. The coleslaw looked more like a small salad than coleslaw and may have had vinegar(?), but no mayo. I would have loved it to have more bbq sauce too. My wife had the beet salad and it looked nice but the dressing was sparse -- to the point that she thought they forgot it. Our server noticed my wife's musing and offered her a balsamic dressing on the side. Clutch! The kids had chicken tenders and burger. Both standard. The burger was overdone, so my little guy only ate the fries. I would stress that this restaurant could be stellar, but needs minor changes, particularly from the kitchen. It's good but not great. I imagine regulars would say "hit or miss."

Yelp
A group of us came here after a day of hiking in Yosemite. The staff was nice and the food came quickly. I would say that we were more impressed with the appetizers than the burgers, only because we all asked for "pink" burgers and they all came back well done. While we enjoyed the flavors the burgers had to offer, the burgers could have been done a little better. The fan favorites were the hula fries and the wings.

Yelp
We visited here the day after thanksgiving and the place was packed! The bartender provided great suggestions on beers they brew which were amazing! We ordered the pretzel and two different burgers. The peach burger was AMAZING, highly recommend. The outdoor dining space was great and had space heaters which made dining outside very comfortable.

Yelp
Their fish and chips are so good! Easily one of the best ones I've had. They use wild caught Pacific cod, and you can taste the difference. The meat is cooked just right. It is so fresh that it has a slight sweetness to it. The fries were also just right. The service was friendly, but it took 15 min before we even got our waters. It took another 30 min before our food came. I would give them five stars if it wasn't for the wait. The pub itself has several rooms with TVs on every wall. They even have an outdoor eating area. If you want great fish and chips and don't mind a wait, this is the place.

Yelp
Good burgers for being outside of Yosemite Valley. Drive just a bit past the Vons/Raleys. They have plenty of parking space. It's cozy like a log cabin. Plenty of seating inside and outside (covered) as well as bar seating. Restroom is available, separated by gender. I got the Smash burger with a side of beer cheese mac. I enjoyed this meal. No complaints. The caramelized onions on the burger was great. If you have room for dessert, get the brownie with ice cream for dessert. That brownie (with pecans & pretzels) was HEAVENLY. 18% gratuity is added for parties of 6+

Yelp
The root beer is amazing as is the Oakhurst pecan brown ale. The burgers are terrific too. The gluten free bun holds together. We loved the service. They have outside tables that are dog friendly. All in all a fabulous meal and evening

Yelp
We needed a good lunch before heading back from a weekend at the lake, and stumbled on this gem. A restaurant and brewery! Gods be praised. I'm writing this review only to highlight that they are vegan friendly. At least two explicitly vegan menu options! But please take note: the Vegan Bratwurst has honey on the hot dog and in the dipping sauce. The server was amazing though and I'm so grateful they informed me about both. It's just a shame it wasn't mentioned before it arrived at the table! (I can't remember the exact words but I get the impression I'm more vegan than the other vegans who have ordered this, given that I don't eat honey.) In any case, they remade the dish and I had trouble choosing between the sriracha mayonnaise and the cashew crema. So they gave me some of each and they were both delicious I had the Órale Amber beer which came with a much-appreciated pronunciation lesson, sadly already forgotten. We enjoyed our drinks in the well-kept beer garden--complete with industrial fans--while waiting for our table. Highly recommended, and I hope this review sparks a review of the veganity of the vegan options.
