Mary Loves Teaching the kids and the kids love to learn from her and her staff! My Nephew and Niece and God Daughter all have been bitten by the Acting Bug! Wonderful a proud person here!

I saw Evita this evening and it was amazing. I do like to look at everyone in the cast, and you can tell how committed they all were to the show, and getting their story to the audience. The singing was amazing, and the dancing was masterfully choreographed. I don’t hear a lot about theater in the Charleston community, everyone likes to focus on music (which is wonderful, there are just other mediums) but this performance should make people take notice. Bravo to everyone involved. All I want to know, what’s next?

We had a wonderful evening! The four women who performed were New York actors and it showed! They are amazing vocalists and, told jokes too! They were so talented! We will go back as often as possible!

They have wine. That's pretty much all I need. But the play I saw was "Stay" and all I can say is that I left the theatre feeling.....confused. confused about relationships, about love, about commitment, and about life. Having so many questions always leads to stimulating conversation, and I enjoy that a lot.

I went to the horror movie film fest. The crimson horror festival was amazing the people where beyond friendly the group was amazing. I really can't say enough wonderful things about it. If you didn't go , go next year it's well worth it

When I was taking my class, History of Western Theatre, and doing a survey of playhouses in Charleston, I focused on South of Broadway. They made themselves available to me to answer my questions about their history through the course of several emails. Kristin was great. They put on family shows, but also do serious drama and they do it just was well as you would expect a barely off Broadway artsy production to do. They are North Charleston's best kept secret. I always tell everyone I know who migrates through Park Circle to visit SOBT. I have been to many of Charleston's theatres. Charleston has a richer and more vast ecosystem of theatre than is typically known. However, SOBT is my favorite place to visit. Go see them for a family show or for a heady dramatic play. It is intimate and they are more than professional. North Charleston doesn't deserve SOBT.

Avant garde small theater...VERY dark interior...difficult to see where you were going. Seats were comfortable but were on raised, tiered platforms. Only saw beverages available for intermission...nothing else.

Yelp
Nice venue. Plenty of parking. Pretty good set up with lighting. WSWK bringing back the "old radio time" by a new acting troupe. They have performed a number of times in this spacious building. Good for company business meetings and large entertainment area. Looks as if some refurbishment is going on. Plenty of parking for everyone including handicapped.

Yelp
What a beautiful spot and perfect place to head before or after dinner/drinks! Intimate & they have shows and classes for everyone! From musicals to comedy, it's in the heart of Park Circle around some awesome eateries and bars. Mary Gould, the owner, is a veteran theatre producer and a phenomenal voice teacher. I thought I would therapy to fix my vocal chords, but she fixed it in a couple months!
