Such an incredible experience! The airport is so beautiful, just screams luxury as soon as you walk in. Stunning views from the sky! We saw at least 6 whales the day we flew. Seeing them is something I will remember forever! We did the Ocean Safari with a landing - breath taking. The quick flight from the landing back to the airport was an underrated favourite part of mine. Dan was super knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn't recommend this activity more!!

Wonderful helicopter flight to and from Middlehurst Sheep Station. Pilot Daniel was exceptionally informative, friendly and concerned about our safety and comfort. Definitely gets a 5+ star rating. We would have no reservations about using this business again or recommending it to anyone.

Had a surreal epic adventure with South Pacific. Can't really put a value on whale watching in one of the most pristine places on earth via helicopter, especially if fortunate enough to lay eyes on earth's largest mammal. Speechless.

I could not be more impressed with South Pacific Helicopters. We were scheduled for a mountain gin tasting but think cloud cover delayed us. The team was welcoming and Dan talked to us personally about possibly flying later. Everyone was flexible and you can tell the team genuinely enjoys working together. The flight itself was incredible and the collaboration with Mt. Fyffe Distillery made the experience even more special. A true highlight from our time in New Zealand!

Our whale watch tour was cancelled the day before due to rough sea conditions and seeing a Sperm whale was on our bucket list. We found South Pacific Helicopter 1 hr whale watching tour and said what the heck we are here and we definitely want to see these giant whales. I am prone to ait sickness but did fine on this tour and we were rewarded with seeing a Sperm whale on the surface for longer than usual. Daniel our pilot was informative and an excellent pilot. After the whale we went into the Kaikoura mountain range for some beautiful scenery rarely seen. The entire trip was spectacular and well worth the cost. Having previously seen whales from boats, the aerial views give you an entirely different perspective. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it!

I can’t recommend enough the team at South Pacific Helicopters! I reached out to them with pieces of an idea to propose to my girlfriend during one of their flights and they gave me all the information I needed to craft a beautiful plan. They were incredibly flexible and discrete and were so helpful in pulling off the surprise proposal of a lifetime. Daniel was an incredible pilot and host. I’d also like to say a special thanks to Lou and Billy for their help in communicating with me and the rest of the team.
