South Platte Cabins & Kennels

Great cabin decor and view of the water. Comfortable room and beds. Those with mobility issues please be aware that the wooden ramp from the parking lot up to the rooms is steep but is accessible with a railing. Would stay again.

Room was very clean, definitely feels like a home and not a hotel. You deal with the hotel and not the owners, which was very smooth experience. You are close to the highway but you do have close proximity to the lake. Only a slight noise at night overall 4/5 experience.

We stayed in the cabins both directions of our trip. Cabins were clean. The only downside is hearing a little traffic from freeway but you get used to it. Its a nice location. We chose this place because we were traveling with our large dog.

Very pleased with this clean and convenient cabin. The wifi was fast and the decor was cute and rustic. There is a pond next to the cabin with a picnic table. Free breakfast, coffee, and ice available in the adjacent AmericaInn, which is where you check in. We stayed with our two beagles and was happy there is no pet fee. Front Desk staff were very pleasant. I appreciated the keurig and larger refrigerator. Can't ask for more!

We stayed here and booked and paid through booking.com . The next morning we get up to a charge to our credit card for that same room when I went to the front desk somehow they can't resolve this issue. I'm now gonna dispute it but don't book it's a scam.

We stayed in the little cabins they are very clean and cozy. I was a little disappointed when I checked in and was told that they do not clean the rooms on extended stays so if we needed towels we would have to find the cleaning lady and ask for some. On the second day our cabin needed cleaned so I asked the cleaning lady if she could please just vacuum and restock the towels, she was very nice about it, After she was done the cabin was spotless and smelled so good she did a amazing job. All together our stay was great and definitely will be back again next year for our family vacation

I love this place! Right off the freeway and next door to a restaurant. The cabin was cozy and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here.

Overall good, The front desk agent was friendly. I’d say it was a cozy little spot and we slept comfortable on the beds. The location was quiet. We did have a few issues, the WiFi, It would work for a brief moment, but majority of our two day stay it didn’t work at all or connection was really weak. The top cover to our beds were stained. It is a nice cover. We just hope it gets changed out between guest stays. The keurig was used from the guest before. There was a k-cup still left in it. Around the bottom of the toilet was gross. It doesn’t look like it doesn’t get cleaned often, however everything else was clean in the bathroom and the presentation to the main area was great. I would definitely come back, but we hope next time the little issues can get taken care of.
