Their stupidity almost killed me. In every country I've been to, there's laws against spraying industrial chemicals for bed bugs while guests are in the rooms. Not here apparently. My lips started to swell, my feet were doubled in size from swelling, and my eyes we're swelling up and watering. After being there for 2 hours, we noticed strong chemical odour, and I had to leave and check out, the smell was overpowering from the chemicals. My lips are now bloody, and I feel awful. Look at my other reviews you will see I'm honest always. So stay here at your own risk, but maybe you won't be taking bed bugs home with you as they sprayed every square inch, small positive thing.... and I've contacted a lawyer... just to try to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else.

Great location and cheap accommodation. But the service is terrible. They lock the front door at 10pm - nobody is allowed in after that. And if a guest stays out after 10pm, they're not allowed back in until morning. Receptionist is not much help either. Rooms dont have AC or power sockets. Not the place to be if you wanna enjoy night life.

Great place to stay in Suva. It's an old colonial building with paintings, old posters and photographs on the walls, wooden floors, high ceilings built in the hey days of the colonial era. Best feature - purpose built architecture of those colonial type covered verandah buildingsto ensure a nice natural breeze flow. They don't have a restaraunt but its a short stroll to the Holiday Inn and Grand Pacific Hotel restaurants and bars, ocean side pool, the museum and its Ginger Cafe set on the botanical gardens, and Paradiso restaraunt. The United Club pub is just nearby also and The Bowling club if you want to have a beer "like a local". The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

No frills rooms in an colonial wood building, budget friendly. Rooms 1-4 has power and usb outlets. Common kitchen, toilets and showers, hand wash and dry your own laundry in the lush garden. Friendly staff

A great price for a hotel in Suva. The building has clearly seen grander days - great bones, too bad it's not in its former glory. As it is this is a no frills, quiet, comfortable, easy to walk everywhere location. Fully equipped shared kitchen. The garden is immense and quite lovely.

Budget accommodation in a quaint building with no major failings (except there is no Wi-fi available).||The double room we had was basic but fine with a fan but no AC. Shared bathrooms were a bit dilapidated but clean and functional. Staff were fine, although we didn’t need there help with anything in particular. There were shared kitchen facilities which looked fine, although we didn’t use them. Communal areas are actually quite charming with old furniture and pictures.||Overall, a useful place to stay if you are passing through Suva on a tight budget and don’t need much except a place to stay. There isn’t much competition in Suva at this price.

No power sockets in the rooms, No hot water, Plenty of different bugs, Not clean, Toilets don’t have toilet paper, Showers don’t have doors. The location is fine, the staff is ok, but really slow Kitchen isn’t clean… If you find something a bit more expensive, just go with that place. Don’t come here unless its a must.

The staff were very kind and responsive and the room I stayed in was clean. The place was centrally located and the price couldn't be beat in that regard. If you do stay here though, make sure you request rooms 1-4 as they are the only ones with power outlets.
