Southampton Arts Center

At the Southampton Arts Center, “Second Skin” really nails it—an honest response to what’s going on culturally right now, with artists from all kinds of backgrounds. Curated by the awesome Estrellita B. Brodsky, it explores clothing as a form of art. I loved “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” at The Met, but this show stuck with me even more. The pieces are super effective, and even while tackling heavy social issues, it somehow leaves you feeling hopeful—and even smiling. Thanks Christina Mossaides Strassfield, Executive Director of this Arts Center, and all the team. Can’t miss!!! Smart, moving, and it sticks with you—go see Second Skin.

Loved this place, seeing art by local artists. Thanks so much, Diane, for showing me around. Enjoyed my visit and purchased a photo, gorgeous photo of the beach, to commemorate our visit to South Hampton.

Nice sculpture garden with the old Caesar busts. Inside the museum, the current exhibit was the works of: Sculptors - Elizabeth Strong Cuevas & Hal Buckner and painter - Deborah Buck. Amazing museum highlighting East End Artists. Worth a trip.

Enjoyed just eating outside looking at the Greek sculpture of Octavian and other ancient Greek leaders. Octavian, or Augustus Caesar is the main standing sculpture. Julius Caesar is the only one with 2 busts. Enjoyed the water feature as well. Great place outside.

Don't miss the NatGeo photo exhibit, on until Labor Day. It's magnificent and text descriptions give you the sense of really understanding the plight of these wildlife species. For every person who cares about their role in helping conservation, even just knowing more helps. Great job by the artistic director, Amy Kirwin!

Great place for an afternoon family friendly Hamptons activity. Events are cool and at times cost is low.

An extremely nice art center with a wonderful Hampton's Fine Art Fair Sept 2-5. Hundreds of artists, dozens of galleries and virtual galleries. This year, tonight(3rd), Perego performs live and it's going to be spectacular!!

We fell upon this by chance. What a great statue display in town. They have multiple lighted up statues and a sculpture out by the door. I hope to see inside soon!
