Southampton Playhouse

I’m very critical about this place. I went to the previous theater for 20 years since I was a little boy. This place blew my socks off on the quality experience I get here. The sound, coloring, seating is perfect for a small theater layout. This theater also Q&A with famous producers and actors. It does local events with the community like a few months ago when they did a car show. I recommend this as the only ‘The Hampton Theater’

Just had an incredible experience here with my family! The new theater Playhouse is absolutely gorgeous, and one of the theater rooms has an IMAX with Laser (much brighter and clearer than regular imax). The sound was great, the seats were super comfortable and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! Great popcorn too. Southampton finally has a theater again, only this time it’s a top tier one, and to top it all off with possibly the nicest IMAX I’ve ever been to. Thank you so much to everyone that made this possible!!

They did a beautiful job renovating this theater. No reclining seats, but I was comfortable. It was clean and I loved their concession stand!

Love it here. Clean theaters and bathrooms. Very interesting programming and events. Friendly staff. Affordable tickets.

We visited this beautiful theatre with my Life Skills class to see Cars and had an AMAZING time! The theatre is absolutely beautiful. Doug and the Staff were beyond helpful from the moment we entered the Playhouse. Everything was set up for us and ready to go. They even checked in on us throughout the movie. Thanks again for providing our students with this memorable experience. We will definitely visit again !!

WOW, yes I said WOW. This is a newly renewed building with four theaters inside. All of their equipment is state of the art. The sound system is killer. I'm pretty sure that a few of my teeth had fillings that vibrated loose. I peeked into a couple of the four theaters. Each is different but the place is beautiful and they are putting really amazing versatility into the place with the ability to convert a theater into event space and amazing programming. The people of the area and around should be in awe of this place and utilize it as a hub for the citizens. I'm a tech freak and I wish that we had this building in my town.

All locals and visitors are thrilled this gorgeous location has opened! The seats are a dream and the snack/drink options are fantastic. They serve movie favorites as well as locally sourced wines/seltzers. The entire team are true movie fans who make every visit fun and special. Thank you Southampton Playhouse!

This newly renovated theater is an enormous addition to our community. We attended an IMAX production which was nothing short of thrilling. Comfortable new seating and immaculately clean theater, with staff that are so pleasant and accommodating. We are lucky to have people who live in our community who had the vision and means to restore this gem. Every resident should bring friends and neighbors and weekend houseguests to support the theater and enjoy the experience
