We chose to stay here whilst on a holiday. The room itself was clean and tidy but that's pretty much all the positive things I have to share about this place.
We visited the onsite restaurant in the evening and checked if they were open prior to being seated.
My toddler wanted a scoop of icecream, which took well over 20 mins to serve, it was literally scooped out the freezer in the front, taken to the kitchen n added next to a small bowl of chocolate sauce.
They also had a broad menu advertised for service 11-11 but when asked were rudely told you can have desserts or sandwich or burgers. Ordered a sandwich and the cheese or mayo whatever they used was foul took over 30 mins and had to ask multiple time before I requested it be delivered to the room after the long wait.
There was an event happening that evening and while the hotel has no control directly over the behaviour of their guests , some of those event attendees lacked basic manners and courtesy for other patrons.
I had requested extra pillow which they said they would send up but never showed up, there was no hot water in the evening and were told it will come , but not when, for a place that rates itself 5 stars , basic amenities were lacking.
The breakfast was average, while the south Indian dishes were nice, it wasn't anything to write home about. The fruit juice were foul, made with old rotten fruit, salad was dry / cut n left out for a long time.
We had two rooms with dual occupancy in both and 1 toddler. We requested to have spare access cards as the group would like access without dependency on each other, they simply said no we don't do multiple access cards, it's not like they were physical keys.
On my return transit via Mysore I would not bother with rebooking with them
