Southern Sun Abu Dhabi

I stayed at Southern Sun Abu Dhabi for almost 2 weeks, and the experience was consistently excellent. The hotel offers a beautiful balance of luxury and comfort, but what truly elevates the stay is the people. From reception to the breakfast team and the rooftop pool, everyone is genuinely warm and attentive. There’s a natural sense of care that makes you feel at home — something that matters when you spend a big part of your life in hotels. The breakfast is truly exceptional: outstanding quality, impressive variety and very good hours. A special thank you to Qayyum and Lara, who were especially kind and attentive. When one of my colleagues wasn’t feeling well, they immediately made sure she was taken care of. I stayed in the Executive Room — very spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The gym is large and very well equipped, and the hotel offers two types of saunas, which is a great plus. The rooftop pool area is perfect to unwind and relax. Excellent location as well, close to major malls and beautiful beaches. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 days at the Southern Sun in Abu Dhabi and everything was perfect: excellent location, very close to the Corniche, very spacious deluxe room with a bathtub and shower and all the comforts. |The breakfast was plentiful and varied. |The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially at checkout, when they kindly let us stay in the pool all morning until our transfer to the airport. |The pool was lovely on the 27th floor, with the wonderful Guru, the best. Warm regards and a special thank you for your availability and fun conversations. |Abu Dhabi is an extraordinary city; everything is perfect: clean and fragrant everywhere, safe and kind. There are mega structures, art works, the extraordinary mosque and the fabulous royal palace, beautiful museums, white-sand beaches, and many entertainment venues like the famous Yas Marina. |We will definitely return to Abu Dhabi and the Southern Sun.| Thanks again for everything.| Concetta and Angelo

The Southern Sun hotel has a welcoming entrance reception hall. The rooms are spacious and clean and everywhere that you go there's a lovely fresh odour smell. The hotel staff are lovely and helpful. The hotel seems to be very popular with visitors and We found that the pool area was congested. The gym is okay for cardio with the treadmills and cross trainers, however lacks in variety and is small.

Very nice experience good room great service. Very good food especially with the chef Harish that he cares a lot about every visitor and he gives the best service that can be especially if you have allergy he care a lot and he take care of you and you make sure that you know about every dish if it have what you are allergic for or not and he really really gives a great service and I would say he made my stay here feels very very good and he made the best. The staff in general here in the hotel are very good and they like to give great service. The colours of the room can feel a little bit dark especially if you stay for few days. There is a problem with the tickets that opens the door that they all the time stop to work and they make it for you again at the reception for free... Not a big deal. In general very recommended.

I just spent 4 wonderful days at this hotel, and everything was absolutely awesome! From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable – great bed, perfect temperature control, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal too, close to everything we wanted to explore. But the breakfast really stole the show! Every morning there was an impressive variety of items – fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, eggs cooked to order, cereals, yogurts, cheeses, and even some local specialties. There was truly something for everyone, and it was all delicious and well-presented. We looked forward to breakfast each day! Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. Everything felt high-quality, the vibe was relaxed and enjoyable, and we left feeling refreshed. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We often review places when they dont do a good job, im here to review this place bcz they did AWESOME job. Their customer service and quck responsive to the issues is amazing tbh. They were smooth and easy with the check in, one of the rooms they put us in had painting smell so we requested to change it and they were quickly responsive and changed us in another Room. When we needed things from receiption it was sent RIGHT away. Not to mention their great hotel amenities and ambiance and location! Thanks team for being efficient and i hope you stay the same as we really lack such customer service in hotels sometimes ..

The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and stuffed with all the amenities expected in a 4 star hotel. Only a minor problem with the basin (could not get cold, only hot water). No view, despite the fact we were on the 15th floor. Breakfast was superb though, one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. Staff was kind and helpful. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Southern Sun Abu Dhabi was a comfy, no‑frills base for our 3‑day family trip. The rooms were spacious and clean, with enough space for two kids to spread out. Staff were friendly and quick to help with any request. Location’s central, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a solid, hassle‑free stay for families.
