Southlands Supply Depot (Landscape & Gardening Supply)

I was new to ordering bulk soil when I ordered 6 yards of turf blend and a yard of road base about a month ago. The quality was great (no plastic/debris). I was a bit nervous about the delivery because the streets around my home are very tight and there are a lot of parked cars. The staff put me at ease and let me know that they would try their best. The driver was friendly and delivered the soil/rock base perfectly. They are experts! A few weeks later, I ordered yards of river rocks. A different driver came this time and he was also fantastic- on time, dropped at the perfect spot and friendly. Scheduling with the office was easy. They were kind and helpful. I went by the shop a few times and they have great tools and other products as well. They really helped with my spring landscaping project. I highly recommend them.

SSD has a wide selection of products and their soil is definitely high quality and free from plastic coupled with great customer service from the team!

I ordered two yards of different sized river rocks. They require some washing, but are very beautiful and are just what I wanted. Good value for product and delivery. The delivery was on time and efficient, and I was very impressed with the skills of the delivery driver. It was not an easy delivery location for such a big truck (small Vancouver street and quite a few surrounding parked cars), but he talked with us to figure out the best solution and maneuvered around a lot of challenging obstacles with ease. I would happily order from them again.

My first time to this place. It was heavy raining and I waited at the office door for sometime. No body showed up and I went to the dump area parked my truck. Went inside the office the guy was so rude and asked me to drive my truck back to the office so he can see it. Wrost customer service...

As a landscaper, Southlands is my go to place for all my materials and dirt bin rentals. They have a wide selection of products and their soil is definitely high quality and plastic free. Their turf blend has produced amazing results when used to seed a lawn. What sets this place apart is they actually give you a full yard of material, and they are open all the time so I can pickup material anytime. Highly recommend!

Adriana in the office is absolutely amazing, so kind, helpful, funny and quick to respond. She called back within minutes, with great news that her manager approved exactly what we wanted. The delivery guy was incredible as well (I wish I’d caught his name). My friend had to leave, and I was dreading the idea of shoveling a yard of sand from the alley to the driveway all by myself. He stepped in, helped move the sand, cracked some jokes, and was so kind throughout. I’ll definitely be ordering from these guys from now on, 110%! Thank you so much!

I’m very pleased with the experience. The soil quality was excellent — perfect for my raised garden beds. Delivery was smooth and on time.
