Southwest Airlines

We love SWA, and we only fly them for the exact reason that we don't typically get treated like we did in LaGuardia. Our flight was delayed, and our gate rep told everyone that the flight had been cancelled and to go collect their bags. We, along with most other passangers, ended up going back to baggage claim (not a short trip), collecting bags under stress, and going back through the whole aitport process again. (Bag drop, TSA, the long walks, etc.) We had to throw away some water bottles along the way due to TSA protocol, not a big deal, just another added annoyance. It just goes to show that one bad event can ruin the whole experience. I'm certain that she must feel terrible about the whole, and I just hope she and her team get the training needed to improve for future passangers in LGA, but I for one don't plan on being back.

Been sitting at the gate for 6 hrs without any communication from any employee, only the app shows me any updates ,and it's telling me I will have to sit here for another 3 hrs. no one is offering any of the federally mandated vouchers for hotels, food or other modes of transportation. Just a refund. They claim it's weather. But all other planes are leaving. This is clearly an issue the airline is having wich means they have to at least cover hotels and food. What can a regular person do except suffer. I'm on my way home after vacation and as a veteran I have very limited funds. I'm sure I'm not the only one with the same problem here.

Great way to fly... They treat my husband with care and respect with his issues needing a wheel chair. I have not had issues with Southwest.❤️ Although I didn't ride in December when issues were raised. I think they are trying their best to get passed them. I have only had smooth flights. I believe in Southwest, it is a Great way to fly.❤️

Get the credit card for extra points and priority for boarding. Take 2 bags under and 2 above. To bad they don't fly to Europe. They do fly to Hawaii and the Caribbean. Make sure you have your phone fully charged and have a backup battery if you want to use the wifi. Still a few bugs to work out for the wifi, as it was a little glitchy on my flight.

The new Terminal B is very nice. They have put some thought into keeping the noise down by using acoustic design and soft surfaces. Make sure to go upstairs for some quiet relaxation. Update - Since my last trip they have added a fun fountain. I never thought I would sit in an airport and actually be able to relax watching something.

Great service. Great staff. There was a snow storm in New York before the departure and return flights but the flight was very smooth. I didn't feel any turbulence. I felt very safe.

Today my family and I flew from Atlanta to Laguardia, I really enjoyed the Southwest Airlines WN 2470 flight , thank you so much 🙏..❤️❤️❤️

Southwest Airlines is a budget-friendly airline, good customer service, and friendly staff. There is no assigned seating—you choose your seat after boarding. Wi-Fi is available but sometimes slow. Overall, it is a good choice.
