SPA 45

Love this place and Coco is my favorite. I prefer strong deep tissue massages and they are always excellent. I am surprised people seem to have issue with fair tipping for the quality of massage they offer here at such a reasonable cost.

I’ve come here many times over the last 2 years and they always demand more for a tip. $20 for 1 hour is an excessive tip as the service is $45. I also requested a woman to be given a man as the women were free. I won’t be going back. They should honor gender requests and be grateful for any tip. Especially as their massage skills are sub par. The man just rubs.

Excellent services and nice atmosphere at Spa45. If you’re dealing with planter fasciitis like I was, get the foot reflexology treatment with Andy. It helped me immensely!!! I’m from Chicago and make an appointment at Spa45 every time I visit NYC. (Note-Cash payments and tips are preferred.)

They did a very good massage. Best in New York so far. During the massage they left the room, answer the calls, talk to people outside. I can tolerate this, cause it’s a small place not too many people working. But, at the end the lady at the desk had an attitude for no reason and said “we have 15 dollar tip policy”. I hate this kind of attitude and I was thinking to go very often, now I don’t know.

Walked in to check on availability and to make an appointment for the next day. Because I was not doing a massage at that moment, I had the door literally closed on my face. I then saw myself out without another word from the lady working. There’s no way I would recommend this place to anyone and there’s no way I would go back for myself.

This tip thing is no joke. Lol. First an up charge for using a credit card. I added a 10% on the up charge and she kept insisting it was supposed to be $10. We kept asking where does it say that? She pointed to a sign - we didn’t see anything there then she lifted a sign on top of it and it was there as a suggestion. And like the others she said ‘I did a good job for you!’ It was a nice massage but nothing over the top. They need to announce the ‘mandatory tip’ first. See the pictures.

I tried to leave a 20% tip and they told me it wasn’t enough and that there was a “minimum tip” that I was required to give. I DO NOT recommend this spa at all. Not to mention the worker gave me incorrect change (she gave me $10 more than I was owed) and I corrected her and told her she gave me too much back and then three employees badgered me about a minimum tip. Very weird that they think that gratuity is mandatory. I should have left nothing.

Amazing ladies!!! Massaged my feet for 90 minutes super sweet about it! I was wearing a dress and they even gave me a cover to help me cover my legs! Wish I could of stayed forever!
