The spa facilities are excellent, offering everything you need for a truly rejuvenating experience. The staff are attentive and professional, ensuring every detail is taken care of. From the moment you check in, the staff treats you like royalty. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with excellent bathrooms, cozy beds, and a beautiful patio overlooking the gardens. I also had a massage here, and it was truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. This resort is the perfect place to rejuvenate while enjoying a touch of luxury. Highly recommended! It’s the perfect place for a peaceful getaway in Tegernsee.

We have a family of 8 with one child who has severe special needs. This hotel has been amazing. They couldn’t have looked after us better. The hotel is immaculate, so calm and beautiful. The staff are really attentive and looked after us well for the whole time. The food is outstanding. The spa facilities are incredible. We had lovely treatments. The kids club is top class and they did so many trips and craft activities. Both mine loved it and made lots of friends. The facilities for children are superb. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. The whole hotel is so well kept and is in a stunning setting . Thank you to all the amazing staff. We have had the best holiday and are going home very revived, healthy and rested.

We loved this special resort. The design is so beautiful, unique and thoughtful, truly a great place to relax. The staff is super helpful and the Osen spa is lovely.||Breakfast and snack are great. Only downside is that the “teen” activities are all for 8+ year olds. Our 13 year old didn’t want to be around little kids.

Incredible hotel. Spa was lovely. The outdoor pools and sauna were incredible. Nothing was ever too crowded. We took the free bikes down to the lake and had the place to ourselves, paddle boarding and swimming. Service at the hotel was lovely. Food options were great but pricey, very easy to walk into town for food, too.

I’ve stayed at quite a few luxury hotels by now and Bachmair Waissach was a really good one with improvement potential regarding the arrival process.|Let’s start at check-in. I arrived earlier than the official check-in time of 3pm and even though I was assured that my room would be ready as soon as possible, I ended up sitting in the restaurant area for more than 3 hours until that happened. A call to housekeeping and the friendly request to have the room ready a little earlier than past 3pm would have significantly improved my experience.|Next up the room itself. I was at the hotel for a longer stay and was assigned the room right next to their building site. I asked if there would be noise coming from the site as they are renovating the rooms there and was told that I can expect noise from 10am-5pm. If I have guests staying for a longer time I don’t assign such a room to them. The potential for disappointment is too big.|I ended up requesting a different room and was offered a room of a lower category, only available the next day. Long story short and fast forward, after a conversation with management the hotel made a different room available on the day and I finally could move in before dinner. |Rest assured, the rest of the stay was good. Friendly service and good food made up for the bumpy start. |All in all, I had a good experience. I am sure my check-in experience wasn’t the hotel’s standard and hence can still recommend staying here.

I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay here.|Rooms was nice and well furnished (loved the Alexa and the Dyson in the room).|Breakfast was good - not great omelette - but anyhow good quality overall|Spa was little but absolutely clean and functional|Loved the complimentary Porsche Cayenne Driving Service around the Areas|Only aspect, the rates are pretty high. I understand that the area is rich but more than 300 euros for a single room for one night I believe is a little too much.

Don’t book through booking. I’m reaching out to share a deeply disappointing experience I had with a hotel booking made through your platform, which left me feeling misled and financially taken advantage of. I initially booked the hotel based on the clearly displayed price. Just a few hours later, I was contacted and told the price had changed and that I must now pay the new, higher rate. This sudden change felt not only unfair, but also deeply unsettling especially as I had trusted your platform for transparency and consistency. Things worsened at checkout. The hotel demanded an additional payment for an “extra person,” even though the room type was clearly labeled on their homepage as suitable for up to three guests. Nowhere in the booking details or policies was there any mention of extra fees for a third guest. This unexpected charge felt like a betrayal of trust, and I left feeling more like a target than a guest. I’m asking for your urgent attention to this matter and a full review of this hotel’s listing and practices.

The best hotel we have stayed at. Every detail was wonderful and taken care of, we highly recommend the restaurant package, in particular the Clubhaus and Gasthof restaurants. Japanese restaurant was okay, and I probably would have tried one of the others instead. But that is the tiniest detail—this is a hotel we will visit for many years to come.
