On the Grid : The Waterway

"The Waterway can be a fine way to start the day or end the night. In the afternoon enjoy lunch while watching the kids run though the plaza water feature. Come back that evening for a date night with fine dining, a movie or outdoor concert, then drinks capped off with a romantic walk by the waterside. Don’t miss the array of public art installations, koi pond & garden and the beautifully designed outdoor theater." - A Civil Fox

If you’re planning on booking a manicure or pedicure DO NOT!! Not only did we pay an outrageous amount but our nails were horrible!! Paint all over our skin and cuticles. And they didn’t even cut our cuticles… it did not feel luxury at all. My shellac is also starting to peel up and it’s only been 4 days. I’ll never go back, so disappointed

Went to The Woodlands Waterway Spa for a special occasion, and I was very disappointed with my massage. The facility is very nice, but my therapist didn’t seem skilled, and I couldn’t relax because I found myself frustrated during the entire massage. I was also a little sore in my neck for several days after my massage. I did speak to someone about my experience at the check-in desk who appeared to be a manager as I thought perhaps I got someone inexperienced. She was very surprised and commented that I had one of their most experienced therapists. I have had numerous massages over the years so I feel like I have a pretty good idea what a good massage is like. We spent a lot of time looking for a nice place for this special occasion and went with this spa due to the many good reviews. However, this was not my experience, unfortunately.

We had a large group of 12 for a Bachelorette trip! The bride is an aesthetician and all she asked for during her trip was a spa day!! Linda was wonderfully easy to work with and made our spa day amazing!! The lounge was wonderful to relax in and sip wine/mimosas while we waited our turns for services! The robes were cozy, and the staff was very accommodating! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Woodlands area for a Bachelorette trip!

Everyone there is so nice. Tammy and Sarah at the front desk were so helpful. I was there for a conference and wanted to get my nails done. Tran was not only funny and nice, but he did an amazing job on my full set. Definitely recommend this spa for anyone looking for great services and yummy mimosas! 🩷💕

Have been to the spa multiple times. Massages are good. Facials with Lisa, amazing. Just had hair colored and cut by Omar for the first time. He listened very closely to what I thought would look good but I explained I trusted him to use his expertise on what would look best. He did an amazing job, and it was exactly what I had in mind. I will definitely be coming back for Omar and Lisa. only thing I wouldn’t recommended is mani/pedi. Can be done anywhere and they’re not that good. Otherwise, very relaxing spa. Front desk has been very accommodating and friendly every time I’ve called in.

I had an amazing experience with Andrea for a manicure and Pedi! It was relaxing, nails looked stunning and the conversation was wonderful. THE view to the waterway makes this such a unique experience. Only bummer, my massage chair didn't work.

I recently had the most amazing spa experience, and I just had to share! Bernadette, my massage therapist, was hands down the best I've ever had. I opted for the Hanakasumi body treatment, and it was absolutely divine. The room was a serene haven, so calming and relaxing — the perfect environment for a peaceful retreat. From the moment Bernadette began, I could feel her soothing energy. Her spirit and aura were so peaceful, and she was incredibly patient and gentle, really paying attention to how I was feeling throughout the treatment. I could tell she genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and completely relaxed. I ended up in such a deep state of relaxation that I actually fell asleep during the treatment — I was even snoring at one point! The mimosas were also a delightful touch, and added a little extra sparkle to the experience. This spa is truly a sanctuary, and I’ve been there many times before, but this was, by far, the best massage and treatment I’ve ever had — and I’m 44 years old! The staff, as always, was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt truly cared for. Bernadette has definitely gained a new friend in me. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to return for another amazing experience!

Google
Definitely overpriced for what you get. We did a couples Swedish massage. 80 minutes. It was almost $500. The massages were mediocre and there are no amenities. They don’t even have a hairdryer in the ladies lounge. I’d go back for that same treatment for half the price. Otherwise, I’d spend my money elsewhere. I’ve been getting massages for 30 years so I have a great basis of comparison.

Yelp
The hair salon here is a fun place for a quick wash or blow dry. Spa conjures up images of luxury and relaxation and attention to detail. The shampoo was minimal to get the job done. I was hoping for a little head and neck massage with shampoo, but no such luck here! This is a nice place with good service, but not comparable to the luxurious Trellis Spa at Houstonian!! The Trellis is still best in Texas or USA!! True pampering -- Waterway Marriot calls itself a Spa, but a nice hair salon. No special bells or whistles. Same price as real spa, just do not expect the pampering here. I will return and hope this Spa rises to its name! Sweet to receive gift certificates here, since friends read that this Spa Waterway looks and seems so fancy!! I will try again another month- my second time, so maybe three will be a charm! Left sun glasses here last time. We called several times to remind that we will be there to get them. We were told they are saving them for us. . No one knew about them today. Do not leave anything behind!! Receipt for services was a long thin strip of paper, not even an inch thick. Checking out when your friends and family call or order expensive gift certificates for you may be a hassle. Be prepared to find your codes! I am not certain if gift certificates are appreciated here, even when hundreds of dollars are spent to surprise us with amazing experiences at the most impressive places possible.

Yelp
I went here as part of a bridal party and their miscommunication with us made this experience miserable for me. We were running late from lunch and called to see if we could push back our appointment. They said they can push back by 30 minutes so our group took our time with lunch and made it to the moved appointment. When we got there, the nail person was very rude to me and said "you are 40 minutes late, you can't do the pedicure." When we tried to explain what happened, she said that she didn't care, that other clients are lined up next. The next clients were still part of our group so after another 10 minutes of wasted time, they finally took us all in. Because they took their time, they were rude to me, rushed the pedicure, and finished much quicker than it should have taken. My nails look like a child did it and I regret doing it. Additionally, they force all clients to do a 20% gratuity, even though for the experience, I definitely would have tipped lower because of how scared I was of my own nail lady. They didn't apologize at all and I don't think the service is honestly worth the money! And I travelled from a more expensive place so that means something! Update: it's been 3 days and my friend's manicure has already started chipping a ton!

Yelp
Deep tissue massage: hard pressure without knowledge of human anatomy regardless of being a LMT is unsafe. I Have pain I never experienced before this service. A review of muscle bones joints, in depth! A&P at the college level should be a minimum qualification and not likely a criteria for LMT or practitioner is not applying them 2nd. Music way too loud. If u wanted a concert id go to the pavilion. This is a spa for Pete's sake! 3rd. Pace of massage: WAY too fast. Deep tissue or not slow down. This is an energetic body you're working on. Price: Most importantly, don't charge $500 for two massages and expect a good tip. That's probably why they automatically take 20% on the card. The practitioner didn't deserve it and allows them to not give quality services. I would tip more if it was deserved. Lastly, I felt worse and will continue to go to reflexology for 1/4 the price where I always feel amazing, happy foot on Rayford Sawdust!

Yelp
I highly recommend Bernie for a massage. She is amazing and extremely knowledgeable. She truly understands the body's anatomy and physiology.

Yelp
Thanks for the good job guys! Mother-daughter spa day was amazing ! Massage by Roberto I recommend him really made my neck better. Facial by Adriana I recommend her, she did a great job! Also was great cutting my hair for a full resurrect look, Alberto Castro knows how to do hair !!! Thank you guys ! My nails though, I'm highly disappointed in shellac quality! The lady who did my nails was confused and didn't project professionalism in her job! I wear shellac 3-4 weeks, this looks like a regular nail polish and yes I wore gloves around the house!

Yelp
Great escape for a few hours. Massage, wax, mani/pedi. Priced as expected for luxurious atmosphere and quality service.
google avatar

Catherine B.

Yelp
I absolutely loved my spa mani and pedi which i paid $110 for but absolutely disappointed to see that in less than 5 days 3 of my nails are totally ruined. What kind of place operates like this? You have to pay extra for gel which should last at least 3 weeks for the extra money to see if gone off in 5 days is horrendous! Would not recommend! I requested a full refund of my gel manicure! Update: Owner called and apologized for what happened! And is issuing a credit. So I am changing my one star to a three star. Would totally give 5 star if I didn't have any issues.

Yelp
Had a great experience with my family. Everyone was friendly and prompt. My husband who is very opinionated about massages was pleased with his service. We had facials and nail services. All exceeded expectations. Great for groups. The staff went above and beyond when I accidentally left a small necklace in my robe. They searched through the robes to help me find it. They really value their customers and treat them with care and consideration. I highly recommend, we had a great experience!

Yelp
Amazing place. Beautiful an clean!! The message was great!! Everyone was nice and accommodating. I loved it! Definitely will be back!!!

Yelp
Had an unplanned spa day with my mom! Booking was easy and they accommodated me just fine. The spa itself doesn't feel like 5 star place sorry. We did facials which were wonderful. My massage was far from excellent, I was hoping not to be disappointed but my expectations didn't come true. I loved my haircut though definitely would recommend the hair specialists from here! Going to attach few pictures of our nails .. highly disappointed in the product quality there, this spa need to step up their game !

Yelp
I spent the weekend at the hotel and wanted to treat myself to a manicure. Scheduling a last minute appointment was easy but once I got there I felt like everything was very rushed. Everything seemed out dated. I opted for gel polish but by day 3, it was already peeling. I would say it was not worth the money at all!
google avatar

Yelp
Visited the Spa at the Waterway with 3 other ladies. All 4 of us give it 5 stars. From the phone call making appointments to walking out the door after our services, the customer service was impeccable. Each person that we encountered was over the top nice and personable. Our esthetician and massage therapist were each 5 star as well. They were not only very skilled in their area, they were very accommodating as well. The only suggestion we would have would be to make their waiting area a little more "spa like" and cozy. It definitely isn't anything to complain about, it would just make the facility top notch. We just feel like this is a great facility and that would complete their full spa experience.

Yelp
I have a couple of issues with this spa. A couple years ago I had a haircut and when I got home I had hair color on the back of my sweater which ruined the sweater. I called and they basically told me they use capes and wouldn't take any responsibility for it. I had to throw it away and it had a matching skirt that was then not going to work anymore. What I know is I did not go to the salon with hair color on my sweater but came home with it. Secondly, I got a cut this week and upon checking out was told there is a mandatory charge of a 20% tip. Now I am not cheap but there was no changing it unless I wanted to give more than the 20%. I was told this was a corporate decision. I really don't like being dictated to on what I should tip. In this case a tip, which in my opinion is optional, now becomes a fee. I just don't like the way they run their business. I feel it is the customers decision not the establishment's on how to tip on a service. Probably won't be going back until they change their ridiculous mandatory tipping policy.

Yelp
Went to the spa to receive nail services. Andrea did an excellent job with my nails. She took her time and worked on my nails like they were a masterpiece. She was very thorough and explained everything. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I had my hair and makeup done here for my wedding! Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. DAVID CHANDLER did my hair and makeup and it was over the top amazing!! I looked so perfect for my wedding. I couldn't have asked to be in an better

Yelp
Very expensive and over priced for a clean up for a man ! I mean service and everything was excellent and everything, but charging 3 for 5 min clean up is unacceptable and unnecessary! Definitely going to a place that don't charge double !

Yelp
I could not be happier with the services received at Shag on the waterway. My stylist, Chelsea, performed a hair miracle in just 3 hours. Like so many others I was a bronzed, yellow, copper highlighted disaster. I walked in on a Saturday not even believing I had a chance in hell that with a new stylist I would achieve results like this. After a consultation with Chelsea about my hair history and pictures of my desired results she let me know right away that my 2 hour apt would not be enough time, so she called her next apt and asked them to come in an hour later in order to have enough time to truly focus on the work at hand, how great to not feel rushed. Chelsea was great, conversational, knowledgable and someone you can trust your luscious locks with. The Spa was quiet and relaxing with a huge picture window of the waterway. Everyone was very friendly and the mimosas were a nice touch. If you are looking for a knowledgable stylist with amazing skills, look no further.

Yelp
So, I got a gift certificate for a 50 minute Swedish massage to this spa and what a wonderful gift that was! I enjoyed every minute of my experience at this spa. The place is lovely. It's located inside the Marriott on The Waterway. They have either valet parking or self parking in the garage but either way the parking is validated. I parked in the garage & it was a quick walk in to the Marriott & the spa was right there, on the 1st floor. The lighting is dim, the music is soothing & the smells are relaxing, as it should be. The front desk staff was so kind & polite. She right away offered me something to drink. They have wine, champagne, mimosas.... I had a delicious mimosa. It was my first time there so I filled out a quick form regarding my health history & my areas of concern for my massage. Then I was shown to the locker/bathroom area. They had plush robes & comfortable sandals to wear, lockers to place all my belongings in, showers to use after my massage, a vanity area to fix my hair & make up afterwards, a dressing/changing area, nice big restroom stalls & a sauna. After I changed in to my robe & sandals I was shown the relaxation area where I waited for my massage therapist, Candace. The relaxation area was like a big, comfy living room but with dim lighting, relaxing music/sounds & soothing scents. They had a self serve complimentary refreshment area too but I chose to keep on sipping my mimosa instead. Did I mention my mimosa was free & delicious? Well, it was. I didn't wait long at all in the relaxation room before Candace came & got me for my massage. She was very courteous & professional. The massage room was also nice. The massage table was warmed & had soft linens. I especially liked that the face pillow had a satin like cover on it so my face didn't get those lines that I tend to get at other massage places that use other covers on the face pillow. Candace asked me what areas I'd like to focus on & what kind of pressure I was comfortable with. I prefer light to medium pressure because it is still relaxing for me but can still work out any soreness I have in my neck & back areas. Candace did not disappoint. She did an excellent job. My massage was definitely relaxing & got rid of my body aches. After my massage, I had full use of the spa amenities such as the relaxation room & sauna. Candace even offered me another mimosa. I could have made a whole day of this place but unfortunately I had something else I had to do that day. Anyway, I know this place is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. You can also sign up for their monthly specials & follow them on Facebook. Keep an eye out for their 25% off any spa services. What a great deal & a great way to try this place!

Yelp
Love this place! The staff is aways helpful and greets you with a smile, the ladies locker room is so peaceful. My stylist Kody is the best! He always has great suggestions and does my cut and color just the way I like it, i leave feeling great! I cannot tell you how many total strangers approach me to tell me how cute my cut is! I proudly tell them to go visit Kody at Shag at The Waterway! Keep being awesome!

Yelp
My sorority sisters and I were planning to have a girls weekend with a spa day. I went into the Marriott hotel to the spa at the waterway and spoke to a really nice little blonde gal, Ella, She gave me a brochure and then gave me a quick tour of the facilities to show me what was available. She was extremely helpful and I told her that I would decide on some days and give her a call back. I called back on Friday and spoke to a girl named Tamara. I explained to her that I had spoken to the other gal on Tuesday and that I wanted to go ahead and book the times. I asked her a few questions just to be sure that we could all get in at the same time for certain treatments. It really seemed to irritate her that I was asking questions-- she had more important things to do. She then told me to make up my mind what I wanted before calling back. What a complete change from the other gal who had been so helpful to me! Needless to say, I will not be booking anything with that spa. Ever. I would never recommend the Spa after the way I was treated on Friday and will be looking for another location for the Spa day with my friends.

Yelp
The Spa is very nice. The decor was beautiful and well appointed. Lounge was zen like and has a calming ambience. Staff were welcoming and hospitable. I had a massage with Roberto and it was fine. I then had a manicure with Alex and it was ok. $20 for a no frills manicure seems a bit steep. I get that it's in a hotel and they have to price it a bit higher than the norm. I would have not minded the price so much if the quality was great. For the price, my cuticles weren't cut, didn't really buff the nails, and she piled on color too thick on my right point finger and didn't put a top coat. I had a feeling it would smudge which when I accidentally tapped it against the desk when I was paying, it was smudged. Long story short someone else removed the polish and gave it a fresh coat. Overall I just felt i had better and there was something lacking in their service. I wouldn't go there again. I only went cause it was convenient since I'm staying at the hotel and I needed a manicure badly.

Yelp
Took a party of 8 to the Spa at the Waterway. Working with management (Linda) was wonderful as I set up this special day. Because we were a big group, Linda had to call in extra staff to accommodate all of us and our timing. But she did it and we were all whisked away at the same time for our relaxing treatments. While they serve complimentary beverages, we were allowed to bring in our own and they kept them in a special spot just for us. Afterwards, we rested in our soft robes in the lounge area and just had a several moments to talk and rest before we had to dress and head home. A wonderful way to celebrate!

Yelp
I have been going to the Spa at the Waterway for seven years now. I have only had two different estheticians in that time. It's nice that they don't have a high turnover rate like many spas do. My current esthetician is Cindy and she is fabulous! I get the Signature Facial every time and she tailors it to my skin. It includes a cleanser, facial scrub, two different masks, and a face and neck massage. She has a wonderful touch and I have had appointments where we chat most of the time and other appointments where I just want some down time and it's just quiet pampering. She knows how to read her clients and their individual needs. The spa has a lounge with teas, infused water and wine. The lady's locker room has a steam room, two showers, two curtained changing areas and a vanity with all the necessities incase you need to make yourself a bit more presentable before heading out. I highly recommend Spa at the Waterway and make sure to ask for Cindy!

Yelp
I have been waiting forever to get my wedding pictures back so I could review David Chandler again for doing such an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup! I couldn't make this review without showing off his work. If I thought my trial was good - oh boy - I was in for a treat when it came to the real deal. I seriously don't think I have felt more beautiful or elegant in my life. Seriously, the pictures do a way better job than my words. I will definitely be recommending David to anyone who needs professional hair and makeup done (wedding or not). Thank you David for helping make my day so special and memorable for me!

Yelp
Perfect! Just the perfect way to start the New Year. Had a fabulous facial by Adriana. (I've had facials all over the US and Europe.) This was top notch. A week later my skin still looks great! The spa was clean, accommodating and so relaxing. Definitely a must if you're in The Woodlands!

Yelp
I typically try and wait for most reviews, especially ones like this. Here's why. The service it self was good. Loved having wine and it was a nice, clean, non chemical smelling place. Everyone was kind. However, I paid $110 for a mani and pedi with shellac. For that price it had better be great. Well, we had our nails done Saturday by Tuesday, the shellac is pulling away and chipping. This is for both myself and my friend. (We went as a surprise for her birthday) this is ridiculous. If you can get shellac to stay, that's a problem. Secondly my friends toes did not dry. She realized this after the pedi was ruined. So that's $110 she doesn't get back either. Total, we paid $220 for a ruined pedi and shellac that doesn't stick. I think we should get our money back.

Monica F.

Yelp
I had the best massage from Valerie. She listened to what I needed focus on, and delivered! The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. I love using the amenities and the complimentary champagne was icing on the cake!! My mani pedi was amazing as well!

Yelp
I love the Spat at the Waterway. Customer service and customer satisfaction is a top priority for them. I have enjoyed a number of their services and always have a good experience. From the moment I walk into the spa, I am greeted warmly and professionally. The professionalism is top notch and so is the service. Even during the trying times of COVID, I could see that safety precautions were taken seriously and professionally for both staff and customer. The spa is immaculate and well maintained. I highly recommend Spa at the Waterway for your next spa service.

Yelp
I went here for a massage a couple of months ago and am just now getting around to writing the review. The massage was good, but a few things turned me off about the facility: 1. The receptionist was a bit snooty. 2. The grout in the locker room tile was dirty. 3. The bathrobe they gave me was stiff, scratchy, and ratty looking - like it had been bleached too many times. 4. The refreshment counter was in the waiting area and close to the massage rooms, so when employees prepared drinks for clients, you could hear everything that was going on and it kind of killed the relaxation mood. 5. It was more expensive than the spa in the Galleria I usually go to. Because of these, I have not been back.

Yelp
To be honest I wasn't expecting to be impressed with a spa within a hotel. That sounds hoity toity, sure, but I guess I feel like great spas are supposed to be they're own entity, free standing, a chain... Well, if you share my previous thoughts then go ahead and toss 'em out the window. I did :) I really like this spa - mostly for the services, the staff is very good at what they do. I've never disliked a massage I've received and I make a point to go every 2-3 months for a facial. I like how they really get in there! :p Other than service, the ambiance is nice, location is friggin' ideal (heart of The Woodlands) and the place is clean, a touch of luxury, very comfortable, and calming. They also have a salon (I've never tried those services before) and a little store featuring products they use. My favorite part is the coffee machine that has a multitude of sweet treat options :) I always get a cup as I'm leaving - so it's like a pamper topped off with dessert!

Yelp
I currently work here, but the reason I do is because I first began as a client and I was so impressed that I wanted to work with this amazing team and the moment a spot opened up I applied and it was the best professional decision I have ever made. I have always loved going to the spa but Spa At The Waterway is the first to impress me so much I wanted to work there. First, there are the facilities. This is a gorgeous space. Great care has been put into the design and comfort of the clients. The ladies lounge and changing areas are beautifully appointed and each guest is offered a choice of complimentary wine and champagne or infused and plain water. There is a self service coffee bar as well. On weekends you will often find a plate of cookies or biscotti for guests to enjoy. You will be given a comfortable robe and slippers to wear while you relax. The dressing room always has fresh towels and complimentsry toiletries. There is a dry sauna and two large showers. The nail department is currently undergoing renovations and brand new, state of the art massaging pedicure chairs ensure that you will be comfortable while you sip your champagne and enjoy a magnificent view of the waterway. I recommend the waterway deluxe pedicure if you go. Next, there is the staff. In 25 years of working in hospitality I have never encountered a group quite like this. I look forward to going to work everyday thanks to the incredible kindness, compassion and dedication to the comfort of our clients. This passionate dedication to customer service infuses everything we do and the attention to even the smallest details ensures our clients leave happy and relaxed. When you visit Spa at the Waterway you will be welcomed graciously and pampered endlessly by people who truly value your time and want you to feel comfortable. Finally, there are the services. We offer endermology, a full range of massage treatments, we have packages for couples, cutting edge peptide skin care, and my favorite treatment: a microcurrent face lift that uses gentle electric current to instantly tighten and lift the face. This treatment is accompanied by a gentle peel to exfoliate the skin after which nourishing peptides will be applied and infused for greater efficacy. My skin has truly never looked better. I look significantly younger than my 45 years. We also offer microderm abrasion and our latest addition, Thermiva, a painless radio frequency vaginal rejuvenation performed by a medical doctor in a comfortable setting. I have worked with Spa At the Waterway for about a year and a half and I am more in love now than I was as a client. Recieving regular treatments has improved my overall wellness. My stress levels are low, my physical health has never been better, and I am convinced without a doubt that this is in large part due to my time with this incredible company. For me, time at the spa is less about luxury and more about taking time for myself to relax and recharge. The health benefits of regular spa treatments are well documented and I am personally experiencing the benefits and seeing those benefits in our clients. I would like to invite you to come by for a tour and see for yourself what we have to offer. We can also host your event and thanks to the many great restaurants located near by we can arrange for catering as well. My name is Dana and I am happy to answer any quetions. Thank you for your time and I hope to meet you soon!

Yelp
When I'm looking for a day for myself, I always come to the Spa at the Waterway. The customer service is always excellent, the spa is always clean and calm, and they always treat you so well. I never had bad service and my massages are always excellent. Today I had a Swedish massage with Candace. I highly recommend booking with her.

Gretchen S.

Yelp
Over priced, rude, and terrible services. My facial was so painful and the woman was rude. When I told her this was my first facial she had a look of disgust on her face. I used a gift certificate from my husband so I didn't know the price.. and when I tipped $40 see looked at me like that's it?? And then told me how much it cost. My husband was so upset she told me how much it was he was trying to treat me to a surprise. I will never be back!

Well......my husband did a wonderful job picking out my birthday present this year, he purchase a day spa. I was beyond excited about my present. I have never had one, sure I had a massage before but not like this. I arrived to the spa and everyone was very friendly and happy to help. My masseuse was very nice and friendly. She did a wonderful job. She made me feel very relaxed and at ease. The lady that did my facial was wonderful too, she did an eye treatment due to the puffy-ness under my eyes. After my facial message my head started really to hurt. I spoke with Robin and rescheduled my pedicure and manicure to another day. She was very understanding. I came back in on Friday and I was met with the same friendly/professional/relaxing environment. Andrea who did my nails was amazing. She was very personable and delightful to talk to during my appointment. Overall I was very pleased with treatment/appointment. I would highly recommend them.

Yelp
I highly recommend the Spa At The Waterway! The staff were amazing. We were greeted professionally and felt so welcomed and pampered immediately. We were offered champagne and never felt rushed. The entire afternoon was relaxing. We experienced facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. The spa is pretty and overlooks the waterway, but the staff is what makes this place!

Yelp
Always a pleasure to visit the spa at the waterway. It's quiet and everyone is very helpful. If it's a calm quiet environment your looking for then this is it.

Yelp
Wonderful staff that will make you feel like royalty. I had a mani and a massage and left feeling like a million bucks! Thank you ladies for making me feel so special and relaxed!

Yelp
Heinous customer service and employees. Natasha, the owner, should really reconsider the stylists she employs. Especially Cody. He's a REAL gem. Not only has he told me on more than one occasion that he "didn't have enough time" to do my hair at my scheduled appointment, he had no couth whatsoever when speaking to me. No professionalism in the salon at all. It boiled down to the point of him not speaking to me, having someone else be his "errand boy" and have them relay he message. As a southern woman, all I have to say is, "Bless his heart." Disgusted by this so called "upscale salon".

Yelp
My stylist moved to The Spa and I wasn't really sure what exactly to expect as I agree with the first reviewer, it appears "hoity toity." But I was actually pleasantly surprised. It's big, airy, everyone is polite and not snobby at all. It offers a little bit of everything, granted I can't afford to participate in everything they have but I like it enough so far. The coffee thingy with all the selections of coffee is fabulous! The other place I went was very...grandparent oriented but not here, it's more up to date and client oriented than, "How blue do you want your hair, deary?"

Yelp
We did a moms spa day and it was amazing! I started with a main/pedi by Erica, then massage by Rodney, lunch, facial by Barb and then got a Brazilian Blowout by Tray. Everyone was so nice and the services were all so spectacular. I think my fave was the glycoderm facial! I'll be going back as often as I can!

Yelp
If you are looking for someone who genuinely cars about you and about doing a good job instead of the nail salons that just get you in and out as fast as they can, then you need to go see Andrea Walker, nail tech, at the spa!!! She always takes such good care of me when I come in to get my nails done. My nails don't always cooperate, but she is so patient with me. She is always educating herself on other options and the latest trend in nails. She has also become a good friend of mine over the last several months. I absolutely love Andrea! Go see her!

Yelp
I went to see Debbie Arbury for color and a Brazilian Blow Out. Let me just say she is awesome!! Such a sweet woman that knows what she's doing when it comes to your hair. She made great recommendations when I didn't know what to do and it came out perfectly. I would highly recommend her for a your hair concerns!

Yelp
I like this place! Nice receptionist. Kristina gave me an awesome facial. Comped parking. I'm going back Monday for another facial and to meet Dr. Cho! They are also reasonably priced! Try it! You'll like it too!

Yelp
I am so glad that I have found Ashley Jensen. I have been to several high end salons and have never loved a place or person enough to want to stay long term until now. I trust Ashley completely with my hair and I always love my hair when Ashley cuts it. Ashley is a great listener and communicator. She listens to what I want and then she gives me advice on how to make adjustments to make the cut work for me. Ashley is very patient and attentive to details. She takes the time to explain to me how to style and care for my new cut as well as explain what products would work best for my hair. I always leave the salon very happy with my cut and her cuts grow out beautifully. Ashley has a great eye for details and is very talented. I feel very confident trying new things with my hair because I know my hair is in good hands with Ashley. Everyone at the salon is very pleasant and the entire experience is wonderful.

Yelp
Great location and was surprised to find great service within a hotel, despite previous experiences. First time for a facial, glad I did some reading about services, locations, etc before choosing a place. Carmen was fantastic, knowledgeable and laid back, atypical from what one sometimes finds in a luxury salon. The line she uses is Hydropeptide, really loved it and I could feel what my skin has been missing. She took her time explaining products when I asked questions, and I appreciate that. I purchased the signature hydropeptide signature facial at $115, thought it might be a bit of a splurge until I realized the time, technique and products I was exposed to. Totally worth it. If you're looking for a facial and never had one, I highly recommend Carmen at this spa, everyone was cheerful and friendly. Very clean and cozy place.

Yelp
Victoria Benham colored my hair for 2 years and my hair has never looked better or healthier! She is the only colorist who has given me the saturated blonde color that I have always wanted and never received at other fancy salons. She is amazing!!! I recommend her to anyone who is looking for gorgous color! If I could I would give her a 10 star rating instead of 5. Thank you Victoria!!!!

Yelp
My previous stylist moved to Austin and I had my first appointment with Kody and he did an excellent job on my hair color the first time! Usually it takes a new stylist several visits before they get the color right, but he did an awesome job the first time. He also did a remarkable job on my Brazilian and Bilogia highlights. I have very curly hair and I left looking amazing! He goes above and beyond what you would expect. I highly recommend Kody for any hair treatment ... he is fabulous!
