Spa Edgewood

Sadly this establishment tricked us into spending $368 more than we originally signed up for. Originally we requested two treatments that would cost $480 total. During the appointment the esthetician suggested that we try a slightly different service and said, “it will cost just a little bit more” but was sure to never mention exactly how much more it would cost. It turns out her recommendations increased the cost by $368. If we still paid the original $480 and left a 22% tip, the total cost would’ve been $585. Instead, with the 22% tip the cost was $1,034.56. We ended up paying $501 more than we should’ve. Sadly I did not put this altogether until after we left. The thing that tipped me off is that we had two different skincare objectives but the esthetician recommended the exact same adjustment. This is a “nice” looking establishment but with business practices like that I would stay very far AWAY.

The spa is located on the 2nd Floor at the Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe. I love how it's set back and not in a high traffic area of the hotel. I had a 50 minute Purifying Facial - here's the menu description: "Utilizing powerful probiotics, Eminence has created a safe and effective regiment that deeply cleans skin, while improving acne and texture, leaving you with a fresh complexion." There is a 80 minute option as well - if you have the time & budget, I suggest go for the longer treatment! (i say go for any longer option, personally). My treatment was so relaxing that I slept through half of it but my treatment provider was amazing - I was so relaxed, I forgot her name! I had to rush to another appointment after my treatment (sad face) so I missed the opportunity to "Sip & Spa" which is an area which is where you "recover" and sip bubbles. Doesn't that sound amazing?! One of my favorite parts is the lounge area. It's co-ed and located right off the dressing rooms. It's super spacious, Instagram-worthy and has a unique view of the front of the hotel & driveway. You can see everything but yet you don't feel "on display". The hot tub is a super nice touch before & after treatment. The Women's & Men's areas each have their own steam room, showers, lockers, etc. You can easily get a treatment & then get ready to head out without having to go back to your room. The spa space is 8500 feet but it feels super cozy and you don't really bump into anyone! Definitely earmark some time for yourself at the spa if you are staying at Edgewood or book an appointment even if you are just in the area. Because.. spa treatments are always the BEST!

Every year I do something like this to treat myself on vacation. This massage was a little pricier than I normally spend on myself literally ever but I thought it will be so worth it and will be the best massage of my life. I've had a very rough year so I wanted to treat myself. I've gotten a lot of different massages at a lot of different places. So I'm not newbie. I specifically requested a guy because I wanted more pressure and a deep tissue massage. It was so disappointing. Literally the worst massage of my life. The guy looked young so I don't know if he didn't have any training or what. So I figured no big deal I'll just let them know how I feel about my massage with a lower tip. The guy needs a new profession because massage therapist is just not for him I can tell you that. But turns out a 22% gratuity is automatically added against your will so you cant even adjust based on service. On the flipside my facial was great even if they did upcharge me but at least that service was worth the money and my skin felt great after. Id avoid this place and go somewhere else

My husband and I are staying at Edgewood for our honeymoon. We booked a couples massage and the entire experience was divine. From the smooth check in process, champagne to start, a great tour and assistance from Cari to our amazing massages by Liz and Pamela. We arrived early and while we waited We got in the jacuzzi, enjoyed the complimentary snacks in the co-Ed relaxing lounge which is designed spectacularly and is completely zen. They didn’t miss any details - eucalyptus mist for the shower, comfy robes and towels, flip flops that are your size, and overall spectacular customer service. Big thanks to Liz and Pamela!! HIGHLY recommend.

This masseuse made my wife feel extremely uncomfortable with here poor attitude at check in, which led to an awkward message. My wife came back to the room crying which is not what should happen when you spend double the price of other places. They discounted the rate a bit but we still paid over $300.00 for a terrible experience. Edit: Spoke with the spa manager and she is super unprofessional and trashy, to put it kindly.

We had such a relaxing couples massage. A glass of champagne to start was lovely. The jacuzzi was closed and for that they threw in a free foot scrub and scalp treatment. The amenities were amazing and we stayed the full hour afterwards to enjoy them. It’s a little pricey but we went during our honeymoon and it was entirely worth it.

Was so excited to go to this spa as we were spending the weekend here and ready to relax near the lake. We had booked the last massage times of the day (3:30pm) and showed up pretty close to our appointment times so we knew there wasn’t going to be a lot of extra time to use the amenities since the spa closes at 5pm. Upon arrival, we were immediately rushed through the locker room - not given a locker to put our things in, spa shoes, or a robe. I was also not given a tour of the facility and needed to use the bathroom. I was led straight to the massage room where I had to carry my winter boots and all of my belongings to. We had booked 50 minute massages, and they lasted only 40 minutes. After the massage, the therapist told us we were free to use the hot tub, steam room, and showers. We sat in the hot tub until 4:45pm at which point I got out to go shower. In the locker room I was about to hang up my robe to take a shower and rinse off, but the receptionist was doing a walk through and told me “m’am you know you can’t shower now since we are closing.” I had never in my life been rushed so much or told I couldn’t shower at a spa. For how nice this hotel and the spa was, I was really disappointed with the rude and overly-rushing staff.

Best massage ever, and I get a massage once a week. The massage bed adjust (just like a hospital bed). Close your eyes....now imagine getting your scalp massaged, and the rest of your body is in a Zero Gravity Position. And wait there is more, when your done getting your massage, they have a sanctuary section that you can eat, relax, hydrate, or get in the jacuzzi.

Top notch spa experience from beginning to end. Beautiful resort and spa. Had a massage and a facial. My facial with Gina was easily the best I've had anywhere and I've been to more than my fair share of spas over the years. They also have a co-ed lounge and hot tub so that is a plus if you are looking for a spa day with your significant other. It's not if but rather when aI will return and I hope it is soon! It gets my highest recommendation!

How Edgewood Spa in South Lake Tahoe, made it to the top 10 list of spas in the US is just bedside me. It's mediocre at best. The amenities were enjoyable but nothing top tier. Walked into "tranquility" with Management in their office gossiping the entire check-in process, which was very off putting. Champagne was warm. The locker rooms were clean but be careful sitting on the ends of the benches to change because they easily tip over and are super cheap quality, making for an easy spill. Management really needs to clean the mold spores in the jacuzzi. I was enjoying the jets until I noticed how dirty the filter is. We're all breathing that steamy mold air. Gag. Steam room was my fave..Love the cold towels after. My shower was out of eucalyptus spray which was disappointing. My spa service was ok - nothing to rave about. Made me giggle that after treatments, their array of snacks are jelly beans, jolly ranchers, starbursts and dried fruit/nuts. There was a plate of cookies that were all gone by 2p, and a soggy plate of veggies that no one touched. Highlight for me was the watermelon water. Lovely property but the spa needs some fine tuning and more attention to detail.

My boyfriend and I treated ourselves to a 50 min custom couples massage for my 30th birthday on Sun., 12/1. The staff, both front desk and massage therapists (Janie and Carmen), were extremely professional and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were all very clean and taken care of. Would highly recommend!

Amazing spa - highly suggest going here. Probably one of the nicest in Tahoe. Full facility with showers and jacuzzi - make sure you plan extra time after your treatment

Ok so this place was pricey but the quality of the service and amenities was well worth it. The grounds at Edgewood always impeccable and the spa to no surprise was the same. The staff super friendly and approachable. We came for a couples massage and myself and hubby were very well taken care of. The products in the locker room impressive I took the longest shower after my massage and enjoyed the waiting area that also had a hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Wow! Where do I even begin?! I almost booked at The Ritz Carlton in North Lake Tahoe because you can always count on The Ritz for a great experience, but it was an hour drive from where I'm staying so I decided to give Edgewood Spa a try and scheduled an 80 minute custom massage...so so happy I did!! One of the best massages I have ever had! Pamela was my massage therapist. We talked for just a couple of minutes about what my needs were and any current issues. Then throughout the massage Pamela checked in frequently to see how I was doing. She kept communication open and helped me feel very comfortable giving her feedback as she worked on me which always ensures a better result. She gives nice firm pressure when needed but knows how to adjust pressure as she feels different areas of your body. It wasn't painful at all yet I still feel like I got a nice deep tissue massage. I've had several car accidents and neck and back injuries over the years so I'm kind of hard to please which is one reason I didn't have very high expectations when I scheduled. Pamela exceeded all my expectations! What really impressed me most was her knowledge and experience. She knew exactly what I needed without me even telling her and she was able to address issues that not even my physical therapist has been successful in treating. I also loved the massage beds! I've had hundreds of massages and this is the first place that's had beds that are automatically adjustable to relieve pressure off lower back when you are face up on the bed. My lower back can be in a lot of pain when I twist and roll over from face down to face up and this helped alleviate the pain. Every single massage room everywhere should have these tables! The spa facilities are very beautiful, high-end and relaxing. The only suggestion I have for an area of improvement would be concerning their one hour spa usage after your spa service has ended. By the time I rested a few minutes, sat in jacuzzi, and showered my hour was up and I hadn't even had time to dry my hair or re-apply my makeup. They didn't kick me out or anything! Hahaha But I was a little stressed out trying to finish up in a hurry which took away a little bit from the relaxation experience. When I've had massages at The Ritz they're very clear that I can use the spa facilities as long as I want to after my treatment. I don't normally stay very long but it's nice knowing you don't have to rush either. Overall though I'm beyond thrilled with my time at Edgewood Spa today and already looking forward to booking my next appointment with Pamela! I'm interested in trying out their other massage therapists too but when you find someone as good as Pamela it's really hard to schedule with someone different. But, IF their other therapists are as skilled as Pamela is, I have no doubts they'll be amazing!

A perfect winter escape at SPA Edgewood. We followed our couple massages with indulging in the steam room to an outdoor jacuzzi hour while watching the snow flurries to an indoor retreat lounge with healthy snacks + drinks, including hydrating ourselves with amethyst, rose quartz, and clear quartz water that brings calmness, balance, and relaxation to our bodies. The Hydrafacial was very superficial. The technician did not seem to know how to use machine. I have had several hydrafacials but never where she barely used the wand. My skin did not glow afterwards. Then she wanted to sell me their products.

My husband and I had a massage tonight by Liz and Carmen. Carmen was my masseuse and she was wonderful! So sweet and respectful and really made me feel comfortable. 10/10 can't wait to schedule with her again!

I received an oxygen facial by Iris and she truly was so amazing! I felt so relaxed with her and she gave me great advice as well. Highly recommend booking with her. The amenities were very nice and clean. Taking off one star because the front desk staff needs to be more professional, if I'm paying $$$ I don't feel like I should have to call someone from their chit chat in the back office to come help me. They should be present at the desk or at least be aware there is a guest waiting to be helped.

I've had Spa services all over the world and for the price $$$$ It was awful . My husband and myself had a couples message . On arrival the manager was gossiping in the back , the spa receptionist was the rudest I've ever encountered, not a smile when arriving or leaving . The hot stone massage was more like warm rock and my husband was not impressed by his deep tissue either . They will offer you a tablespoon of cbd butter with your message then add it to your bill for $45 without letting you know when offering, we felt this was dishonest business tactics. And as mentioned in previous reviews, the relaxation area was nice and quiet, we didn't use the other services as they didn't look clean . The amenities are lacking severely. We are locals, the spa at Edgewood was a disappointment.

The customer service provided by management here is horrible. Got yelled at by Nina "the spa manager" and was spoken rudely to by the Spa Director. I had an unauthorized facial charged to my room, then charged to my credit card WITHOUT my authorization which is completely illegal. I highly suggest they clean up how they do business because charging services on credit cards not provided to the spa is not legal and can get them in more trouble. Sad that the spa operates business like this when the resort is such a prestige resort. My husband and I visit the Edgewood Resort frequently, and sadly we will not longer be due to how the Spa Staff treated us. Definitely will be reaching out to the Resort Director for this situation.

Such a dreamy experience at Spa Edgewood. I booked them for a bachelorette activity and, while the booking process over the phone was pretty lengthy(had to book for 5 guests and got a little complicated for the girl on the phone because I think she was training), it was still a smooth booking experience. I had also mentioned we had gotten on the waitlist a month or so ago, but I guess she couldn't find my name. Super grateful she accommodated us anyways. The massage, the service, the amenities were all worth it. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. They keep you relaxed right as you walk in through their door and as you leave as well. We had such an amazing time, we want to come back with our SOs soon!! :D

This is a really fancy spa located in the private Edgewood hotel. I received a massage here and also a hydration facial. Definitely a treat yourself type of place as prices are higher than in the Bay Area. For a $170 facial the lady did not really do any distractions, she placed a facial tissue in between my nose and her fingers and kinda lightly squeezed. I've had a ton of extractions in my lifetime and that tiny squeeze felt like a half attempt. For a hydration facial my face didn't feel hydrated days after but I actually broke out and my skin was peeling really bad. I wish I would have loved the experience because the price tag was hefty but truthfully I left with worse off skin. The message was pretty nice and they offered a complementary foot scrub, or cbd oil, or scalp massage because the actual spa premises were closed so we couldn't enjoy any of the other luxuries on premise like the sauna.

I was looking for a Hair Salon for my wife as California was getting ready for a shut down for 3 weeks because of COVID. After reading some reviews I decided to go with Edgewood Tahoe Spa. My only experience with the Edgewood Resort was the fine dining, and It was superb! I called the Edgewood Spa/Salon up, and they were able to slide my wife in. The hotel is spectacular as you walk through the hotel to the salon. The salon is clean, staff is super friendly and professional. Lauren did the magic on my wife's hair. My wife was ecstatic and very pleased with her cut & style! Usually when my wife gets a cut & style shell ask me what i think, and I'll usually say "Yea it looks good" but honestly this style cuts the cake. I thought Lauren did a fantastic job and made my wife look so cute & adorable with her style. My wife & I were extremely happy with Lauran's work. Thank you for doing such an amazing job, and making my wife soooo happy! ok and me tooo!

Absolutely LOVE this spa! My husband and I got married at Edgewood so it has a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed the spa for our wedding and my birthday this year. And it is our new destination for a quarterly mini getaway, We are so impressed with the customer service, amenities and spa services offered. Plus the complimentary champagne upon arrival- yes please! We love soaking in the hot tub & enjoy the Tahoe views before our services. Plus, the light bites, teas, relaxation area, steam room and amenities to shower and prep for the rest of the day make it a true getaway. The massages are great and my new favorite treatment is the transformation facial by Gina. Do this! Trust me! It is a true self care investment and worth it! I love my facials and this does not compare to any facial I've ever received. It is three facials in one and has your skin looking like a baby angel after. Hydrafacial, stem, oxygen facial and plus collagen hand and foot treatments. Oh my! Gina truly is a gem and so sweet. She's also extremely knowledgeable and professional so this makes the experience even more enjoyable. Edgewood spa is our new quarterly treat to ourselves and is worth the hour plus drive from our small town to Edgewood. It is always nice to enjoy the resort for a cocktail and or lunch/dinner after, or even a night stay!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon so I decided to book us for a couples massage at the Edgewood. We were staying at the hotel and the reviews made this selection very easy. We were assigned Sherry and Liz. We had spent our morning hiking the Rubicon trail along Emerald Bay so were in need of a good massage. The Spa is located on the second floor and is very clean, stately and modern. The grounds feel very clean and organized. The architecture is simple but classy and creates a soothing mindset for a massage. Sherry and Liz did a great job for Jen and I. Jen even fell asleep temporarily. In the end, we both felt relaxed and refreshed after our couples massage.

The spa was very underwhelming for the price. We paid over $700.00 for a 50-minute couples massage with a 5 min scalp treatment for an additional $35.00. The website said the couple's massage was $225 for 50 minutes. We were shocked by the final price. We don't mind spending money, but it should list $450 for a couple of massages. I'm afraid I have to disagree with how they list their pricing. That said, my spouse was assigned a therapist who was pushing 70 years old. She was friendly but very frail and not the best fit. The massage was mediocre. I was fortunate and was assigned a wonderful massage therapist. The spa was clean. The view of the parking lot was not what I expected, and it took 35min for the steam shower to heat up. Two other guests were also complaining about the steam shower and view. The staff in the front lobby was loudly talking about Nutella butter and chitchatting. It was very unprofessional and shocked a high-end spa that allowed the team to disrupt the quiet lobby. The lady at the front desk lobby tracked me down in the sanctuary room after my massage. She interred I wasn't a client and needed to leave. I politely reminded her she checked us in earlier and I just finished my massage. Maybe if she wasn't chatting she would've remembered checking us in. I felt it was very rude to approach me in this manner as we are paid guests and followed protocol.

Gorgeous facility, really, really high end spa setting. Great massage, hot tub, the view is gorgeous, uber clean. Definitely worth the splurge.

I had the most amazing time at Spa Edgewood! I booked a massage immediately upon my friend's recommendation and it was so worth it. They offer mani/pedis, massages, facials and more! Services are definitely more on the pricy side but it's made up by the numerous amenities and lovely staff. I spent several hours here while my friends were snowboarding and was not bored at all. I had Ryan for my massage and he was wonderful. Definitely book with him if you can! He did a great job of working out all my knots and tight spots, and I felt so relaxed and refreshed after I got off the table. Thank you, Ryan! Notable amenities include the hot tub and sauna, fully stocked bathrooms (curling irons, bobby pins, razors and more), and refreshments (fruit, energy bites, spa water and teas). Pro tip: Bring a book so that you can read in the comfy serenity room!

I had the best experience at spa Edgewood. I saw gina my first day for a body polish which was so lovely I booked her for a facial for the following day. Gina was skillful with her services and so kind as well. I will definitely be back!

I came in to have a facial to celebrate my mother's birthday. I had Gina as my provider and she was fantastic!!! The entire staff including Gina, made my mother and I feel like queens for the day. On top of the beautiful results of our treatments! I received the oxygen facial from Gina....wow! Talk about results! So hydrating and definitely worth the extra charge for the collagen boost! Being in such a dry climate this was a definite must! Edgewood spa continues to impress me. Always coming back

This spa was incredible. Pricey- but incredible and worth it. Definitely will be coming back! First off, the Edgewood itself is a gorgeous property and we wish we had stayed there. It's secluded and quiet and peaceful, nothing like the hubbub of Stateline just a half mile away. Well decorated and with a spread out layout, it was easy to park (they have valet as well) and find our way into the spa on the second floor. The male staff at the desk was a little abrupt but overall pleasant and the ambiance inside the spa is what you'd hope all spa's look like (after you find it, it's really hidden behind some rooms). I had a Swedish treatment that left me feeling woozy in a good way, completely relaxed and the masseuse was nothing short of amazing. They do offer a lot of amenities though there isn't a dry sauna which I'm accustomed to. However the interior of the locker room and sauna were immaculate and easy to use. They offer Voss water, cucumbers (for eyes) and cold towels. There is another larger resting room where you go to wait for the treatment to begin- and it's got some nice fruits, snacks and treats for you to enjoy. There are also heated neck wraps and reading materials, everything you'd need and expect. I absolutely will be coming back here and I suggest coming earlier next time! Only caveat would be their outdoor larger pool and hot tub are NOT connected to the spa so it would be nice to use but you'd have to walk through the whole hotel to get to it. Highly recommended!

Spa Edgewood was such a treat! I went in for a 50 minute oxygen facial and I was thoroughly impressed. I would highly recommend scheduling with Gina Montana. She was incredibly professional and gave me such an exquisite facial. Definitely the best oxygen facial I have ever done. She was able to do so much in just 50 minutes I loved every second. After she finished I was almost in awe of the turn around she was able to do with my skin. My skin was absolutely flawless for the rest of the day. Gina was able to recommend a couple of products from Natura Bisse that I'm so thrilled to have added to my everyday beauty regiment! Don't hesitate to treat yourself here because it's so worth it! We are staying at the lodge, and tried out the spa today. Very glad we did!! We had a wonderful couples massage. Beyond relaxing, and beautiful setting. Best of all, you have full use of the facilities for the day. The staff is great, and terrific customer service. We used the hot tub, steam room and showers are fully equipped with anything you might need. We will definitely utilize the spa again next trip.

The SALON at Edgewood is where it's at. I got my mani pedi done after making an appointment a week prior. Lauren went ABOVE and BEYOND to make me feel so welcome there. We talked the whole time as she gave me advice on my nails and other things we discussed. I have never had such a great experience getting my nails done. She also took time to explain everything to me as she was doing it. She keeps everything tidy and efficient in there! I'm definitely going to make an appointment with her when I go back next year but maybe this time, I will get my hair done. Thanks for taking care of me, Lauren =)

Wow. My lady and I had 80-min massage treatments and both therapists were pretty great. MARY WAS AMAZING. Honestly probably the best massage I've ever had. It obviously felt good but was very purpose driven as well. We had the CBD therapy and it was super relaxing. If you have a chance to request a therapist, request Mary. She was really pretty special. Firm, but gentle and really what I would consider a proper full-body with really unique techniques. Ive had a ton of therapists work on me as well so this is coming from someone who gets a massage once per week (too much computer work). In any case, Edgewood has been awesome and the spa is not too shabby either. Thanks Mary!

Excellent Swedish massage by Agatha, perfect pressure & relaxing atmosphere. Nice selection of products to buy too. Friendly front desk team. Very clean facilities. Since the amenities are closed during COVID (steam, hot tub, robes/lounge area, etc.) it was nice they offered a massage upgrade choice of foot or body scrub or use of cbd infused oil. Lunch at the restaurant afterwards was perfect. Overall, great & much needed serenity/stress relief!

Gina at Spa Edgewood crafted the most amazing 50 minute facial for my skin needs and completely exceeded expectations. If you are in need of a heavenly spa experience, pick Edgewood and ask for Gina.

If you are planning to go to this SPA to do Mani-Pedi this is NOT A GOOD place it's really horrible place don't know how take off dry skin and super expensive $$$$ i spend $150 for mani-pedi plus they suggest a 22 % tip.i ask to fix and they say it's gel.they don't do anything just ignore me.and also they do my daughter hair super disappointed

Where do I start? The atmosphere was amazing all throughout the spa and the staff. Each and everyone of the staff members I encountered were so professional and all masked. I received an oxygen facial with Gina and it was the best facial I have ever had! She went above and beyond with her massage and she even went as far as explaining why the treatment was the best for my skin. Thank you Gina for making me glow again!!!

Gina is phenomenal!! Be sure to ask for her. She gave a phenomenal oxygen facial! Highly recommend!! The overall spa experience was lovely.

I got the oxygen facial from Gina and I absolutely loved it! If you have dry skin I highly recommend this treatment. My skin feels rejuvenated and fresh ! The experience was amazing, super relaxing and comfortable. Towards the end of the treatment she used Gua Sha stones, they were super soothing and made my experience different than others! If you're thinking about going to the Edgewood spa for a facial I highly recommend you asking for Gina.

I had an oxygen facial today with Gina and thought I was in Heaven! It was expensive, but worth every penny. Because of meeting a lady two days ago on the Safari Rose and hearing all about her wonderful experience my husband said he would treat me. I had a facial with Gina M. and it was so fabulous! She knew exactly what I needed and even added special touches like warm neck towels and cooled rocks to enhance my facial. I had one of the bests! Yay!

I had an amazing facial 2 days ago. Not an ordinary facial but a treatment which delivers an instant result. The treatment is called "Oxygen Facial" with the one and only expert Esthetician, Gina Montanez. She is very professional and with the knowledge,skills and top of the line products, no wonder this facial is MAGIC. It hydrates the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaving your skin smooth and firm. Thank you Gina! Definitely will be back for more sessions.

Best place ever I'm so happy I found this place. I spent $75 for a pedicure and an all day pass to the facility. The pass is good until 9pm. The staff is truly incredible and the locker room is gorgeous. Everything was clean to perfection. There were plenty of lockers, toilet stalls with complimentary girly things, hair tools to straighten or curl, razors and shaving cream, mouth wash, plenty of towels and complimentary water bottles. In the gender neutral area it was a hidden paradise. Healthy snacks like fruit and nuts free drinks like tea, water or champagne. They had a gorgeous fire place, blankets and the best place to relax. By far the best was the outdoor hot tub that's set to 102 degrees. I would highly recommend this location. Totally worth $75 to step into a an oasis of relaxation. Each staff member were incredible and had the best hospitality I've seen in awhile.

Awesome facial and great experience. Everyone was super helpful and the amenities were nice. Taking one star off for it being really pricey, but the atmosphere is really great and the esthetician was so kind. There is a hot tub, steam room, showers, and a lounge to relax in. Note that you cannot use the Edgewood pool as part of this, but the balcony hot tub is nice!

I just got a massage here and I have to say it was a distressing experience. The massage therapist I had was lovely, this is a review on the whole experience. First, many clients weren't wearing masks and the staff never tried to fix the behavior in the coed waiting area. Second, my therapist told me that most therapists are unvaccinated (yikes! In such close quarters). She told me that management is too scared to ask therapists about their vaccination status and won't take a formal stand on vaccination status because of the labor shortage. The therapist said she's terrified for her health but needs the job. It was appalling and I felt terrible for her. She told me that when clients complain or request a vaccinated therapist the client is told that if they are that concerned maybe they shouldn't get a massage yet. She said management just wants to pass the buck and blame clients for being sensitive instead of taking the health and safety of staff and guests seriously. I recommend avoiding this place until they prioritize everyone's health.

Disappointing service - tried the Fountain of Youth body treatment. From what I can tell they applied 2-3 products - and that's it for 80 minutes. I paid $325 to have some serum applied. The technician was fine, but there was just nothing to the service - NOT at all how it sounded from the write up. She put something in my hair that made it flat too, I was unclear what that was for. The facilities were just okay compared to other spas. Clean and well-maintained, just not much to them. Only steam on ladies side. Not worth $75 for the day pass if you're just doing that. Probably won't go back, if I did I'd just get a massage, the body treatment was a total rip-off.

My husband and I took a weekend trip to South Lake Tahoe to celebrate our birthdays. I booked a facial and massage at the Spa Edgewood because I was looking forward to getting some relaxation in. It was my first time coming here. It was a wonderful experience. The massage was very relaxing. My facial was with Gina and after a few questions, Gina recommended the Transformation Facial. It left me feeling refreshed and my skin looked like it was brand new - definitely recommend. Overall the services were great and I will definitely be back.

There is only one spa I want to go to when I come to visit Tahoe, and it's this one. This past visit I was lucky enough to receive an appointment with the facial whisperer, Gina. I tried the new Oxygen facial this time and it was an absolutely amazing experience that I highly recommend if it's been too long since your last facial. I needed a new moisturizer. Since moving to a more humid climate my skin was breaking out. Gina recommended the Diamond Cocoon moisturizer by NaturaBissē and my skin never looked better! Thank you, Gina!!

Every visit to Edgewood Tahoe requires a day at their spa and you need to specifically request GINA!!! She is a true gem! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable on all the Natura Bisse products (which the spa/salon also carries for purchase if you want to continue your regimen at home) but she gives an amazing facial! My skin literally glows afterward! She genuinely listens to my skin concerns as well as recommends treatments to enhance my skin. Her kind and engaging personality in addition to her professionalism makes her the absolute best!

If you're in Tahoe, you must visit the spa at Edgewood Resort! The spa itself is beautiful, luxurious and so relaxing. The only treatment I received was a facial and it was the best facial I've ever had!!! If you're getting a facial you have to ask for Gina!! She was amazing and made my experience magical. Will definitely be back for another facial and will try out a massage as well!
