I had the best experience at Spa Kingston! My esthetician, Makayla, was amazing — super kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely relaxed from start to finish. The facial was so refreshing, and my skin felt incredibly clean and glowing afterward. I loved that you get to choose your scent when you walk in — such a thoughtful, personal touch that makes the whole experience feel even more relaxing. Makayla explained each step of the process and customized everything to my skin type, which I really appreciated. The spa itself is beautiful, calm, and smells amazing — the perfect escape for some self-care. I can’t wait to come back and book with Makayla again!

I started going to Spa Kingston when I was pregnant and it was the best decision! Their prenatal massages are EXCELLENT. I felt pampered, was able to relax, and had a fabulous massage. I have since continued going because the price is right and the massage is excellent. Eric is wonderful and listens to you and adjusts as needed. I highly recommend that everyone goes because it is the best deal and the best service!

Had an amazing experience here. The space is calm, relaxing, and super inviting, and the whole team was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Mick did my facial and absolutely nailed it, and Makayla was there proctoring. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to. My skin was glowing when I left and I felt so refreshed. I will definitely be coming back!

I had an eyebrow, upper lip, chin, and nostril wax at Spa Kingston and thought they did a great job! The atmosphere of the waiting room is so relaxing, and it is obvious the employees there care about enhancing the customer experience. Would definitely go again for wax or other services

Beautiful spa & beautiful people! I’m loving the new renovations, it looks even more gorgeous than before. The staff are friendly & very attentive. I’ve had massages by Ali & Dora, who are both wonderful. I come back every month to see Chelsea, who pampers me with a relaxing facial. If you’re looking to get away from everyday stress, to unwind & relax, this is the place!

Went in for a couples massage experience with my boyfriend and we both thoroughly enjoyed! Front desk gal was excellent and our massage therapists, Dora and Ali, listened to our needs and provided a luxurious, custom massage for us both. We left feeling fresh, loose, and grateful. Highly recommend!

As an esthetician this is one of the few places I trust and look forward to visiting. Everyone here is professional and dedicated to making your time at the spa the most special. I had the pleasure of having Claire as my esthetician. Her knowledge and demeanor made my facial both relaxing, therapeutic as well as beneficial for my skin. I booked a facial and massage and was in love with the services. The staff is very experienced, and my skin felt amazing afterward—not to mention my neck and back were so relaxed. I liked the products that were used. The place itself is very cozy and relaxing. As a native San Diegan, if you're visiting from out of town, this would be a great San Diego experience, especially considering that San Diego is big on self-care treatments. And if you are a local this is definitely the place you come back to.

Best facial I've ever had! I was staying at the Sheraton by the airport and asked the front desk for a recommendation because everything else I looked up on Yelp/Google looked extremely suspicious and sketchy. Most of the reviewers of other spots were male "local guides" which started to seem like code for something I was not into. I was originally interested in a massage but they were booked for the day and I was leaving the next day. So I "settled" for a facial and it was such an amazing experience. Sorry, I can't remember the esthetician who gave me the Revitapen Royale - Nano Infusion Facial--she was fantastic. She asked me beforehand what my goals were and respected my idiosyncrasies (no direct steam/sprays over my face/nostrils). The bed cradles you like an adult bassinet and you feel super cozy. The treatment itself was gentle and relaxing and my tretinoin skin did not feel irritated afterwards. The spa is kind of in an unexpected area that isn't near anything particularly exciting for out of towners, but don't let that deter you from an exceptional experience. It's not one of those spas that have steam rooms, etc., but I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in San Diego again and will plan ahead for more treatments.

OMG. If you're in need of a self care day - this is the place. I got a 60 minute facial royale with Chelsea who was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Her hands were working pure magic on my very sensitive & acne prone ( & honestly very poorly taken care of) skin. She asked what my skin was like and what I am hoping to achieve and she put in the work for that. The entire experience flew by which was honestly sad because I never wanted it to end. Every detail of the process here is truly unbeatable. Upon check-in, Natasha who was at the front desk was very sweet & calming. She asked if I wanted to add any enhancements and I decided to add high frequency to my facial which was totally worth it. She then had me pick out an oil scent that was used to relax me both before and after my treatment & was placed on my chest to help me feel relaxed throughout the day. After checking in, Natasha led me to the waiting area and offered me a beverage and I gladly accepted the champagne. She also placed a heated lavender neck pillow around my neck which was so amazing I wanted to take it home. I had a few minutes there to unwind and get off my phone to truly relax and enjoy the session before meeting my aesthetician Chelsea. The treatment room was very relaxing with dim lighting, sound machine that wasn't too much and AN EXTREMELY comfortable HEATED bed. Like wow. I wanted to fall asleep but also wanted to enjoy every second of my facial. Chelsea had amazing recommendations for me and didn't make me feel pressured to purchase anything which is always appreciated, but she did work with my budget to find me a cleanser which I ended up purchasing! All in all, I will definitely be back and am already dreaming about the next treatment I'll try at Spa Kingston! Thank you Chelsea, Natasha & Spa Kingston team!

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. The atmosphere was calming, clean, and beautifully designed to help you unwind right away. Soft music, gentle lighting, and a subtle scent of essential oils set the perfect mood. The massage itself was absolutely incredible. Maureen was highly skilled, intuitive, and attentive to every detail. She took the time to understand my needs, focusing on areas of tension and Every movement felt intentional and therapeutic--not rushed or routine. By the end of the session, I felt relaxed and renewed. It wasn't just a massage--it was a full-body reset. Highly recommend Maureen for anyone needing real stress relief, muscle recovery, or just a peaceful hour of self-care. I'll definitely be coming back!

Let's talk about my favorite day of the month - it is of course at Spa Kingston! I have really been focused on giving myself a self care day each month and Spa Kingston makes that easy with their membership options. Even just going in for one treatment is a treat and lets me relax for at least an hour or 2. I recently went and saw Claire for a Supernova facial which has really turned into my favorite facial and leaves my skin looking so fresh and bright for weeks after. I can not wait for my massage appointment later this month with Ali. His massages are top notch and leave me so relaxed. I mean it when I say it this spot you will always leave with a smile on your face because they treat you like royalty when you are there.

I had a facial with Claire and it was seriously the best experience!!! The ambiance is serene and cozy . Claire took the time to get to know my skin concerns and curated what facial I would benefit most from. She is so skilled at her job and can't wait to come back !!! The whole staff is welcoming and it has all the touches of a 5 Star resort .

I had such a relaxing facial with Jordan. She was gentle, attentive, and explained everything she was doing. My skin looks and feels amazing. It was my first facial I've ever gotten and I already booked my next appointment!

I've been a client since 2014 and have loved all my experiences here! I have visited many spas and I would describe this as a boutique spa with an Instagram worthy interior. I love the little touches such as the aromatherapy, rose petal foot bath, warm neck roll, and tea (or champagne if you are over 21) while you wait for your services. My favorite facial is the Supernova and Ali and Dora are my favorite massage therapists. It is a great place to go with your friends or even your teenager as they now offer teen facials too!

This is probably one of the best spas I've been to. So clean, tranquil, and amazing!! I got a wonderful facial here the other day and I can't wait to go back!

My wife ended up getting one of the facials a few months ago from a girl that was getting certified. She had nothing but great things to say about the spa and staff from start to finish! She said the entire staff was very friendly and they even offered her something to drink and a snack while waiting to go back for her appointment! After the appointment she could not stop ranting and raving about how clear her skin was and the product they suggested for her to use as a face wash! 6 months later and using the products suggested her skin is so clear!

I had an incredible facial done! Makayla performed a relaxing and effective facial on me! She paid attention to my needs and wants. Then she set me up with a skincare routine that was very effective! I will absolutely go back to Makayla!!

Amazing, professional and clean!! I got a massage for the first time and it exceeded my expectations! The staff do an amazing job at explaining everything for you and making sure you're comfortable! If you are looking to treat yourself, I would 100% recommend booking a service here, my massage therapist was Pami, and Makayla was super helpful in booking my service!

Maureen Anding has the most soothing and intuitive touch. From the moment I arrived I felt pampered with a rose water foot bath, warm towel & ice water, and personal fragrance of my choosing. Maureen makes every step of the massage feel special and I've never felt more cared for and relaxed. The back scrub and scalp massage were particularly nice touches, but the whole experience was just divine!

Got a facial by Jordan and it was amazing. I got the Acne Clinic Consult and Acne Clinic Enzyme Treatment and my skin feels and looks amazing. Jordan was very informative through the entire process and educating me on why I might be experiencing some breakouts and what I can do in my home routine to help! My facial included aromatherapy and I got to choose from the wide selection of oils in the Spa! And it also included a warm neck towel, chocolate and facial towel while I was in their relaxation room as well as a foot bath which was very relaxing and helped me unwind! Would recommend to everyone and anyone who wants to pamper themselves , and prioritize self care!

I visited Spa Kingston to receive a facial. This was the first time I have ever got a facial and from the time I walked in to the time I walked out the staff made me feel comfortable. Makayla was the aesthetician that did my facial. She also made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. She even recommended product to use without being pushy. This experience has made me think that I might get more facials from Spa Kingston and recommend Makayla.

love love love this place! The environment is so beau and welcoming, they have lots of touches like lavender scented towels, aromatherapy, chocolate and champagne upon arrival for any service! I received a massage from Pami and she was amazing!! She listened to everything during our consult and I walked out feeling amazing. Will be back 1000x more!

What a fantastic elevated experience. Had a scheduled massage with Dorothy. As embarrassing as I was, I started to feel anxious/claustrophobic for some reason with the hearing pads and blanket (which is a nice touch). Dorothy was amazing! She identified that I needed to cool down, made some adjustments for me and my experience was amazing because of her. So much that I went from anxious to almost falling asleep! The experience started with a spa water infused with CBD, a chocolate and then a rose petal foot soak. Plenty of time before and after to acclimate. My wife and I will definitely be back!

Needed a massage and found this wonderful place on Yelp. They have great reviews and when we arrived they did not let us down. The young lady who greeted us was sweet and took great care of us. I didn't realize (I am sure my fault) that we did not need to come earlier than our 3 pm appt (we booked a 3pm signature massage). You just need to arrive at your allotted time and then you will have your massage a half hour later. You get to choose an essential oil for your massage and you can do add ons for extra $. I did the 10 min rosemary scalp massage ($15) and my husband did the 5 min CBD add on massage ($15). They take you to the back area and sit you down on their comfy couches/chairs. They give you a drink of your choice and they also give you a nice rose petal bath for your feet. The massage room was really nice. Very tranquil. The bed was so comfy too. My massage therapist was very good. I am very sensitive and do not like too much pressure and he was great. The only down side is my massage did not last a full hour. I also was not sure if the add on scalp massage was taken away from the 60 min massage or added on to it. It was not 10 minutes and either way, I was finished quite a bit before my husband and it was before the 60 minutes. Again, my massage therapist was good though. Regardless of this, I would def try this place again because it was a good massage and the experience as a whole was delightful.

Great spa experience! Came here for a bachelorette party of 6. They were very accommodating and able to fit us all for the mini facial and massage appointment. Dora was very thoughtful and helpful in understanding what exactly I needed in my massage and ensured she helped in that area more. Would highly recommend this experience to all!

Was visiting from out of state and my husband booked the massage and facial package. The waiting room was very calming and you get your choice of beverage with a little snack plus a warm towel. The women were very professional and informative. The waiting room front desk and rooms were very clean and welcoming. My massage and facial were excellent. I left feeling so relaxed and pampered. It was great!!

10/10 experience from start to finish! I came in for a signature massage on Sunday and have a great time. I loved the rose petal foot-bath and the waiting room was so quiet and peaceful. My masseuse Lotus was wonderful. The facilities were very clean and everyone was so friendly.

Overall a great experience at Spa Kingston! The pros: - love the decor: it's modern and beautiful inside. The waiting area is small but cozy and serene. - parking was convenient: lots of street parking available - clean rooms with super comfy beds - amazing massage therapists! Shout out to Victoria who was very professional, skilled, and friendly. I could tell she has a lot of experience based on the technique and method she used. I left feeling like a brand new person. - the young lady at the front desk was friendly and professional. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and warmth. - their aroma scents are divine and lasted the whole session. The soothing music created an ambiance of peace and relaxation. Cons: - their services are pricey. It would be worthwhile to try for a special occasion but not on a regular basis.

This is the type of spa experience I have been looking for in San Diego! The entire visit was based on relaxation. The ambience was warm, the facilities were clean, and the aromatherapy made everything smell good. I had a massage with Paola and she was amazing! She listened to my requests about pressure preference and problem areas - and really made an effort to help.

The best facial I have ever had. I did nano needling and the results were the best. Even better than any other place or any micro needling I've done. It must be the serums they use. Besides that, the full experience is beyond spa, it's the most luxurious time before and during, I was pleasantly surprised my facial came with a relaxing neck, shoulder and arm massage. I can't say enough good things about this place!!

Honestly the experience at this place was AMAZING , from begging to end !! the most kind , nice and polite people, is a 5 star service. I felt spoiled , Casey (receptionist) from the begging was so sweet with all the thousand questions I asked her, she was patience and kind. She made me feel so comfortable that I just wanted all! Daiana (aesthetician) was so gentile, she explained everything to me with detailed information , gave me recommendations etc , she was just so nice and professional, was making sure I was always ok with my tea, water, nuts like I just LOVE her treatment. Ali, magic hands ! I added the massage since I was just there and waited for an hour that was totally worth it, he focus on what I asked , how I wanted , it was just the best !!! What a beautiful spa, thanks for having awesome people working at your place, it's beautiful, clean and neat. Oh and the lady who helped me checking out was also a sweetheart but didn't catch her name !

I was gifted a spa day by my daughter and what a wonderful gift it was! Spa Kingston is a small establishment located in Bankers Hill nearby Balboa Park, there is street parking that is metered but there is also a public parking lot on the backside of the business that you can pay a fee to park in also. I was lucky and grabbed a spot on the street, only issue with that is the meter only allows for 2.5 hours of parking time and I had planned to spend 3 hours at the spa but in between services I was able to run out and feed the meter a bit more. I had booked the Royal & Relax package which consists of hand hydration treatment, signature massage and facial royale. I checked in a received a complimentary essential oil of my choosing along with herbal tea to start my relaxation, I also received a nice warm heating neck/shoulder pillow to relax against while waiting in the waiting area. Taylor came out and took me to my private room where she brought out a foot bath to soak my feet in (was nice however the chair I was seated in was much taller and did not allow me to comfortably sit my feet into the bath) & she also placed my hands into a paraffin wax to soften them up (this was also uncomfortable as it was presented to me awkwardly, the bags of wax sat on top of a towel on top of a disc on top of another folded towel that was sippy to sit in my lap but since I was trying to soak my feet into the bath I had issues trying to hold all this stuff in my lap also because the chair was just to high up) once my hands were in she left me while the wax cooled off and hardened, she came back a few minutes later and we discussed the massage including what areas to focus on and what kind of pressure I wanted. Taylor took away the foot bath and wax and I got comfortable on the heated massage table (what a nice touch that it was heated)!! Taylor came back and started the massage which was super relaxing and she paid attention to the areas I asked, she has really great technique and I was so relaxed by the end of the massage. Next I met Chelsea who was going to do my facial, we talked about my skin and any concerns I wanted her to focus on, the facial was blissful and left my skin super moisturized. Taylor and Chelsea were super sweet, there was no pressure after my experience to buy extras but I did walk out with one of the essential oils. I plan to come back again for a facial Chelsea recommended. I would definitely recommend this spa to all my family and friends!

I could not recommend this spa more! For starters it's absolutely stunning. From the moment you walk in you immediately feel a sense of relaxation. The ambiance is exquisite, with soft lighting, soothing music and subtle scent of essential oils filling the air. I was greeted with such grace and kindness and felt like royalty. My experience started off with picking my aromatherapy that i wanted incorporated in my service, i was then taken back to the relaxation center where I received a warm lavender hand towel, a chocolate and a glass of champagne. I knew from this moment on my service was going to top tier. The attention to costumer service and detail truly sets Spa Kingston apart from the others. If you are a local or traveling to San Diego and wanted to get pampers I highly recommend Spa Kingston.

Good place overall. I was gifted a 90 min massage here. The place is cute and small. Located in Balboa Park area, parking wasn't bad on the day I went (though it is street parking). Upon arrival they offer champagne, water, or tea. The waiting room is right outside the massage rooms. While in the waiting room, there was a couple drinking champagne talking pretty loud. When I entered the massage room you can still hear how loud they were. The massage itself was good. The session started with a warm foot bath (about 10 mins). After your foot bath, you de-cloth for your massage. Although the pressure wasn't as firm as I'd like, my therapist did work on releasing some of the knots, which afterwards felt great.

I had an awesome experience at Spa Kingston. I came in for an acne consultation and a back treatment. The consultation was very informative and the staff is very knowledgeable. This place has good vibes and great amenities!

I really loved my energy massage and sweet Lesley did an amazing job. This is a 5+ star massage. I would recommend that any items that are being used on clients therefore an option for selling to be communicated before the massage session. After relaxing massage is not a good time for anybody to think about items to buy or consider to join the spa membership which involves signing a contract. The front desk lady with a fake smile on her face rushed me out of spa and moved on to next client when I asked her a question about my massage. I had a question about my energy massage which is still unanswered, because their focus was to sell their product and services. So watch out for this and choose your comfort by exiting the spa ASAP after the massage/any other treatment. Another thing, I did not like was how busy the waiting room was by staff walking back and forth by sliding treatmen room doors back and forth. This is a very well put together waiting area (see pictures) but not convenient because it faces the massage/treatment rooms. So, no, this needs to be arranged better for everyone's true comfort. So, 5 star goes to sweet Lesley for the massage itself and 2 star to pretty flowers. 0 stat to costomer service.

Please be careful when purchasing a membership from this place!!! The manager is a very entitled and a very rude person she is not easy to talk to. I had an issue there and I went in person to try and resolve it, she screamed at me in front of other workers which is very disrespect and unprofessional! Literally go somewhere else their customer service sucks ass. If I could id leave them a no star because that's what they deserve!

This place is HEAVEN!!! Can't even describe how pleased I was with the entire experience - from just the welcome in the lobby, the relaxing waiting room and complimentary champagne. And don't even get me started on the massage. Literally the best one I've had in at least 10 years, if not longer. If I could dream up the perfect massage for myself, it would have been this. Ali was just amazing. He actually listened to what I said when he asked what I liked/didn't like, which I feel is kinda rare with massage therapists. They have their routine and stick to it. He actually cared about me having a good experience. I will absolutely be back and be recommending the place to everyone.

At first glance, I thought the pricing was pretty high. However, I am someone who is willing to spend the extra money for a high quality product or service. When it comes to something as delicate as your skin and body health, I viewed it as an investment in myself and ended up signing up for a membership after the first day. Their memberships definitely pay off and they have a lot of different membership options. I was initially impressed with the environment and how instantly calm you feel just being in their building. The staff are all very kind and calm, which made me calm too. I have gone twice now for two different services and no fluctuation in atmosphere from staff member to staff member- they are all sweet and genuinely want their customers to feel pampered. Which also means, they are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you are getting the full spa experience. I love that they have a relaxation room that is separate from the front desk to really set the tone and get you grounded. The hot teas they offer are enough to make me want to stop by and just sit in the relaxation area with my tea to chill out (lol). I booked a microdermabrasion facial with Maddy and she was so professional, friendly, and knowledgable. She took the time to get to know me and my skin care needs before, explain the process, and make sure that I knew what her professional experience is- which adds extra confidence that you are about to get an amazing experience. Afterwards, my face literally had that glow from within look and Maddy even wrote down an entire skin care regimen based on products I have at home without putting any pressure on buying additional products, which I love. I also had a 90 minute Signature massage with Sam, who was also very friendly, professional, and respectful. Sam also took the time to ask me what my areas of concern are and paid special attention to those areas. Sam checked in with me often to make sure I was comfortable the entire time (very gently and brief which is what you want while you're getting a massage). After the service, I felt literally no pain and so relaxed when normally I'm super tense and experience stiffness in multiple areas due to the nature of my day to day job, active life, and mental health. Plus, I noticed a large increase in my positive mood and decrease in my stress level from when I arrived to when I left. All in all, I love this place and I'll be hanging out there a lot from now on(:

This is a special treat! Spa Kingston is a little oasis of tranquility, a relaxing and healing indulgence you won't regret. It's self care at its finest! I've had both amazing massages and facial services and have since become a monthly massage member. Each visit is an experience. You are greeted with choice of water tea or champagne and get to sit and relax before your treatment with your beverage, a chocolate, scented towel, and warm neck pillow. Indulgence for sure and oh so worth it! Next your therapist will prepare a warm rose petal foot soak for you and bring you to your room making sure to ask what you'd like worked on and any areas that they need to be aware of. You'll sit and enjoy the soak while finishing your champagne and then on to your service. Tender care goes into each facial and massage treatment. You'll leave feeling refreshed, well cared for and relaxed. Spa Kingston is a must try and you'll be back again and again! It's part of my monthly self care and maybe part of yours soon too. Impossible to schedule an appointment! I received a new year gift card from my friend, and it's been almost 5 months that Im trying to set up an appointment, they either don't pick up the phone or put you on hold foreverrrr. I was on hold for 30 minutes today. Probably a good choice for unemployed individuals, otherwise no one can spend more than half an hour on phone during the business hours to just simply confirm an appointment! I would never call them the second time if I had a choice! I just did it to use the gift card. not a trustable and responsible business when you want to use their

This was a truly incredible experience. Everything is so detail oriented to a T. I truly felt so pampered after a long and hard week. The staff are one of a kind and Daiana, my facialist was so knowledgeable and gentle with me. Safe to say this will be my go to no matter what when it comes to pampering. We loved it here! We arrived for the couples massage and front desk host was the sweetest, she set us up with champagne and directed us to the waiting room. She allowed us to choose our essential oil scent for the session and we went with lavender. We were immediately greeted by our masseuses, and we smoked our feet in warm rose water. Both our masseuse were great, and we enjoyed the hot stones add on. Don't miss out!

Absolutely incredible and highly highly recommend!! I had a 90 minute massage with Sam and added on the scalp massage, hand treatment, and face massage. Highly recommend Sam, he was INCREDIBLE and tuned the massage to exactly what I asked for and needed. I loved the rosemary scalp massage addition as well. They have amazing aromatherapy (included with the service!) and you get to choose from their lovely collection of essential oils. Truly a luxury pampering experience. 10/10

Looking for the perfect gift to pamper my wife and found the best location in San Diego to do so. The whole staff was very communicative during the week to make sure she was going to get what she needed during her visit throughout the process. Prices were very reasonable compared to many other locations but the quality of service was outstanding and that is what stands out. Got my wife the royal package which included hand message, complimentary champagne, foot soak, message and facial. She came back so relax and loved the message which she usually doesn't like to many styles so that was a huge plus. Whole staff continued to tell her happy birthday the whole time she met someone different since that what's she was there for and made her feel special the whole visit. Will definitely will be returning.

My husband was given a gift certificate on his birthday for a couple's massage. When we called to make an appointment the staff was helpful and friendly. She explained the couple's massage experience from start to finish. The actual massage was amazing. We checked in and was escorted to a wait area while enjoying a soothing foot spa soak and sipping champagne ( or juice, water or tea). Once on the table we received a full body massage incorporating hot stones. The entire process was fun, relaxing and a wonderful experience to share with my husband. We plan on doing this more often it was great.

Absolutely loved my time there! The receptionist was so sweet and accommodating. Made sure I was comfortable from the time I arrived. I had Ali as my massage therapist and I can honestly say he gave me the best massage I've ever had. He took his time to talk to me beforehand and cover any areas that I wanted him to focus on. He was so kind and did a wonderful job! Also, the aesthetic here is beautiful and only adds to the overall experience. I will most definitely be back!

Amazing spa with great attention to detail and a relaxing atmosphere. Booked a couples massage and facials. All the staff were amazing! We were helped by Ali, Marina, Chelsea, and Militza. Found my go to spa and can't wait to try the other services they offer.

Today was my mom's birthday and we tried Spa Kingston for the first time. I was apprehensive at first but my mom absolutely LOVED her experience. She had Ali as her masseuse. He made her feel extremely comfortable and took the time to see how she felt before, during and after. She came out feeling a million bucks. Nadia was the young lady who took our reservation and was also amazing. She helped my wife understand her options and made sure my mom would enjoy her experience. I would STRONGLY recommend this place for an outstanding experience. My wife is already hinting Spa Kingston for her birthday in November.
