I got a mother-to-be massage, and Kaylanie was excellent. She discussed everything before hand to be sure I was comfortable with everything (like laying on side, back etc). I went early and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and sat on the edge of the hot tub as well. The staff was so accommodating and friendly.

This place is magical! You enter through the resort, into a gift shop and are greeted immediately. They give you a robe and slippers and explain all the amenities. The infrared sauna, steam room and whirlpool are so relaxing. They offer different types of beverages, lockers, showers and a vanity (with blow dryers). The amenities are included with a service, you can add on a day use pass to your hotel stay, or purchase a membership. The massage was amazing. I look forward to going back!

Google
Nicole at Spa Shiki was incredible!!!! I got the Supracore Exfoliation and Massage and it was so good I’m taking the time to write a review. I’ve had a lot of massages in my life and I owned a spa for six years. She did a fantastic job, was so detailed (felt like butter!) and I’m so glad that I was able to enjoy my experience with her for my 50th birthday

Google
My first time here and certainly not my last. Definitely one of the more upscale experiences that I’ve had in this area. I absolutely loved the spa, sauna, and my facial. If I had to suggest any improvements, I’d say finding a way to block out the hotel pool noise from the relaxation room would be the only complaint I heard from my group. There happened to be a family with several kids in the pool at the time we were in the relaxation room and it was pretty distracting. Other than that, this place is perfect!

Google
This place is amazing!! Clean quiet professional! They went above and beyond for a couples massage. It was the most wonderful experience for my husband and I. We had the 2 best massage therapist in the world!!! Pure Perfection!

Google
What a wonderful experience. Kaye Lani with an amazing and personal massage. My husband and I both had amazing facials. The additional amenities made for such a great day.

Dora Russ

Google
The facility is clean and everyone is professional. Male and female area for the suna are separate and pretty small which is why I didn't give it a 5 star. It didn't feel like an all day get away spa location inside the facility. Would not go again.

Google
I recently spent a few days in Lake Ozark with my friend and she treated me to a massage at Spa Shiki. The spa was welcoming, relaxing, and clean with a friendly staff. My masseuse was Kaye Lani - she was awesome. She was quiet, respectful and knew what she was doing. Do yourself a favor and book with her the next time you want to treat yourself to a few minutes of luxury.

Yelp
Beautiful spa! Got a prenatal massage from Misty while on babymoon and it was wonderful!! Couldn't recommend more.

Yelp
I had a recent business trip to the Lodge of the Four Seasons where some friends and I decided to come in a day early to enjoy some spa treatments. I booked a signature mango pedicure which was $70 (plus automatic gratuity) which was much more than I would typically pay for a pedicure but was willing for the luxury spa treatment. I arrived 45-50 minutes earlier than my appointment thinking I would be able to soak in the mineral pool or sauna or whirlpool but was rudely told that I couldn't. I was disappointed but decided I would just go over to the hotel hot tub instead. I returned for my appointment and was quite dissatisfied with my end result. The technician left my toes in pain and with cuts above my nail lines plus she didn't paint the entire nail on all toes and cut some of the nails uneven. Polish chipped off in less than a week. I won't be returning and wasted $90.

Yelp
Booked an appointment for a hour massage. I was super excited to treat myself. The male masseuse was really good and I would give him five stars. But my appointment started wayyyy past my appointment time. Like maybe an hour late, I would have appreciated a phone call. The person before me obviously was late or something. Good thing I had nothing going on and was in town killing time. As they ask that you come early anyway to relax and enjoy the amenities. I used the mineral pool in the spa which was okay. It didn't have any jets or a waterfall, it was basic. The resort itself is just sad and rundown. The indoor/outdoor pool I had read about had the door locked and part of the pool area had no water in it. The locker room area had a steam room and a sauna I believe but all of these were closed for covid I guess. Paid full price for a top notch spa that was listed but obviously the awards they have gotten for this spa much be from the 90s. Great great massage though he really got out a ton of knots in my back and neck.

Yelp
My sisters and I took my mother here for a full spa day for her 70th birthday and I am so glad we did! What an amazing and relaxing experience. We arrived in the morning and were greeted by a very nice front desk woman who had us fill out some paperwork and got us our locker keys and slippers. She showed us around the facility, which had several waiting areas (one is a meditation room), whirlpool, indoor/outdoor pool, dry sauna, steam room, and lovely locker rooms. After changing into our robes, I had about 1 hour before my massage so I relaxed in the whirl pool which was comfortable and warm, then visited the pool which was very quiet and nice temperature, then went to the dry sauna. They provided cool, rosemary clothes to wear in the sauna and steam room which was lovely. When it became time for my massage, I was definitely in the relaxation mode. Sophia, my wonderful and friendly massage therapist, did a great job working on my trouble areas without working them so hard I would be incredibly sore the next day. The room I was in was clean, spacious, and smelled lovely. Jessica, who did my facial, was so amazing! Not only was she absolutely adorable, she answered all my questions about each step she was doing and was very thorough. We did a delicious lunch between the morning treatments and afternoon mani/pedi's. Recently, my husband and I went for a couples massage. The experience was still nice but they have really changed things to keep it clean and safe for Covid. You can only stay an hour after your service to use the facilities so just be mindful.

Yelp
My family and I were staying at the hotel that this spa is in so my husband and I decided to go down and make an appointment for a couples massage. The young lady at the desk was extremely rude so we decided to just find another spa. I tried to just credit her attitude to her obvious pregnancy but that's no excuse for poor customer service. I didn't expect such poor service at such a nice resort. We will definitely stay at the hotel again but we'll just continue to take our money to Spa 54 for our spa days.

Yelp
My husband and I had a couples massage. I had Ron as my therapist and my husband had Michelle. My husband is normally hard to please because at other spa's they ask him what areas to concentrate on and they don't hardly do anything to those areas. My husband was very pleased with the massage he got from Michelle. For me, Ron did an excellent job. He hit areas I didn't even know I was having issues with. He did the right amount of pressure depending on where he was working. We did not partake in the amenities they had, they all looked very nice. Very clean, comfortable surroundings.

Yelp
Spa Shiki was a great experience, but I have had better massages paying MUCH less. If you come here you are mostly paying for luxury and access to the amenities which were just OK. I want to note that the pool and jacuzzi are also accessible by folks staying at the hotel. I didn't really like that because I expect spas to be noise free and kid free. It is also a fairly small spa, and there is no wheelchair accessibility to get to the spa. I had to hop down all of the (many) steps with my crutches. Not to mention, I had to go back up all of those steps with my crutches to exit the hotel. If you just want a good massage, I am sure there are smaller spas in the Ozarks that would do the trick. If you want to feel bougie or fancy, this is the place to be.

Yelp
Absolutely relaxing!!!!!! The 80 minute massage was great! I arrived 60 minutes early for the mineral bath- amazing! The steam room was not open- yet the massage could not have been any better! After my massage I sat in the meditation room - wonderful! I wish I would have know or maybe felt comfortable enough to enjoy more time- if you make an appointment- GO WAY EARLY to enjoy all of the extras! If I understand you have all day to enjoy! I missed out yet enjoyed my time! Amazing spa!go, relax- enjoy!!!!!

Yelp
Very misleading website. Lists all of the spa amenities included but when you call to make an appointment they charge an extra fee to access the spa with certain services. Manicures and Pedicures are listed under spa treatments on their website but they are actually a salon services without access to the spa. I'm accustom to spas and often get massages. but really needed a pedicure. I planned on going in early for the spa amenities, before the pedicure. Staff was unwilling to budge even after I went though how it was listed on the website with them. There is no mention of this anywhere!

Yelp
What a perfect way to spend the day off the lake! My SIL and I treated ourselves to a massage (Deborah was amazing), facial (Nancy- AMAZING) and mani/pedi. In our downtime we soaked in the salt pool which was the perfect temp and so relaxing, as well as enjoyed some cheese, fruit and hummus. Will definitely be going back next year for another break

Yelp
Whenever I come to the Ozarks, I try to come here. All of my treatments have been amazing, from reflexology to massage to facials to salon appointments! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing ad depending on your treatment you get to use the whole spa for as long as you wish that day, including an infrared sauna, steam room, relaxation room, whirlpool, and outdoor pool/hot tub. The staff are always top notch and only enhance the experience.

Yelp
As the many awards note, the best spa in the midwest. I have been numerous times over the years, and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in and get your sandals, robe, and locker, you are transported. Soak in the heated mineral pool, relax with a steam or sauna, or grab some hot tea and fruit before your adventure even begins. I have had solo massage and couples massage from different masseurs, both excellent. A very honest aesthetician who told me to stay out of the sun- too late for that, unfortunately!- but gave an amazing facial. A couple of great pedis, the last from Sandy, who is funny and sweet. This is one of the few places that encourage you to lounge for the day regardless of what you spend. It is pricey, not over the top, and worth every penny. They are quick to remind you that a tip is already added in as well. Also, get a spa service and you are also open to use general Lodge amenities for the day, such as their indoor or outdoor pools. I have been going to the lake since I was a kid, and this is hands down the best experience you will find. Even back home in Saint Louis, there is not a full spa experience like this, so it's a quick and inexpensive trip for a girl's weekend or romantic retreat since you would have to go to Chicago, NYC, or the west coast to find anything comparable. A tip: If you want to use the steam or sauna, go before you get a facial as often the treatments you get won't allow one after since your skin is more sensitive.

Yelp
Really great spa, probably the best in the area! I've had several massages here and every masseuse I've had has been great. I'm not one for a light massage, so these guys really impressed me. I've also had the mud treatments and it was super relaxing, my skin felt amazing afterwards. Not only that but the facilities are just beautiful. The whirlpool is nice, the sauna, the locker rooms, the robes, the relaxation room, everything. It's totally clean and there's amazing tea and fruit to snack on while you're being rejuvenated. Love this place!

Yelp
Amazing spa in the middle of Lake Ozarks! The ambiance, service and decor are absolutely fabulous. The place is impeccably clean. The staff are so friendly and on top of things; from filling your glass with water while you are in the whirlpool, to bringing samples of a fruit smoothie, to cleaning any displaced towels, cups, trash etc every few minutes, My massage therapist was excellent, with her 20 years of experience she worked every muscle in my back, neck, arms and legs. Afterword, I took a nice swim in their spa pool which is half indoor and half outdoor - the perfect balance of sun and shade. They also have a steam room and sauna in the respective locker rooms. Although the ladies locker has books and magazine in the lounge area, my husband reports that the men's locker room has a TV playing whatever sports in their lounge (awesome move spa shiki, so he won't rush me while I am taking my time to get ready!!!). Finally they have two whirlpools - one with the spa pool, and one co-ed salt water whirlpool indoors. I couldn't get the full experience due to my pregnancy, but my legs and calves got a nice soaking. I had to take out a star for 2 minor things - 1. they "ran out" of body lotion, curious predicament as they sell them in the front of the spa - and advertise that they have extra amenities and we only have to ask. 2. the listed price of my prenatal massage was 85 but i was charged 90 at check out - I didn't argue or point out this mistake to them though, mainly because I was feeling so relaxed and happy, I just didn't care at that moment. But it is still wrong on principle.

Yelp
This is a truly top notch spa. Make sure to bring your swim suit so you can enjoy the steam rooms and hot tub. This is a perfect place to go with girl friends for a relaxing spa day. I got the Himalayan salt stone message. It was so relaxing and one of the best messages I have had. The whole environment of the spa is relaxing.

Yelp
Really nice staff, super clean, and very pretty amenities. Plan on returning again. Highly recommend doing the spa packages!

Yelp
Went in for a spray tan and specifically said I wanted it to be dark. Was told that they only had one level, which was odd to me because I've spray tanned for many a year. She went on and on about the product and how great it was and that I wouldn't be disappointed. So I went ahead and had it done. Just as I had figured, it turned out to where I can hardly tell I had anything done. What a waste of 50.00. If you're very fair this might work for you, but if you want a nice deep tan look elsewhere. Also was told to be there fifteen minutes early, but didn't get into my appointment till about fifteen minutes after booked time.

Yelp
Amazingly relaxing. Came with friend and we lounged in our robes sipping all the infused waters and teas we could find. We hopped from sauna to steam room to hot tub. They encourage you to stay all day and relax. I had a really great deep tissue massage and facial. Very lovely, clean relaxing...but pretty expensive and I was put off by everyone trying to sell me spa products.

Yelp
This is not the same spa as it was three years ago. I have been going to this spa 2 times every year for the past 4 years. The spa is not as clean, not as attentive, or professional as it once was. Very disappointing, the service isn't as good either. They told me they couldnt do a pedicure because they were booked solid however there was no one in the pedicure room when we were there. They are heavily under staffed and the staff there are very unprofessional.

Julie H.

Yelp
Attended a girl's getaway weekend. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Had a massage, facial, and pedicure. Thoroughly enjoyed the massage and facial, pedicure was fine but not the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that when my masseuse didn't show up and I had to come back 5 hours later, I didn't even get so much as apology. I thought I might receive something complementary for my inconvenience but no. I paid an extra $10 for a different massage oil (that would have been nice to throw in for free for my trouble), or maybe a complementary glass of wine, but no. Beautiful place, nice amenities, but could work a little on customer service. Except Taris, she was wonderful. Give that girl a raise!

Yelp
I have been in the spa business as a professional for over 40 years and have worked at some of the best Hotels and Resorts in San Diego. Spa Shiki is top notch! From the reception to the amenities! I had to find the Spa Director to personally say how impressed I was with everything about her spa! My treatment was the Himalayan Salt Stone Massage with Makayla, well let's just say, was perfect! They even used the only shampoo I can use! I had brought my own but didn't need to use. My sister who referred me said,oh I forgot a plastic bag for my swim suit! I said there is one in your locker! Highly recommended. Thank you Spa Shiki.

Yelp
I am not a connoisseur of spas, but this is everything I would want in one. The property and spa are gorgeous and very clean. I had 2 different spa treatments and both were very relaxing. There were 2 different saunas....a steam one infused with eucalyptus and an infrared dry one. I think my favorite part of the whole sauna experience was the ice cold wash clothes outside the sauna that were infused with rosemary oil. Lemon water was constantly refilled and kept nearby in every station of the spa. The lighting was perfect. Music soothing. Fruit and an assortment of herbal teas were on hand. We had full run of the pool and whirlpool for the entire day. They even brought me a piece of birthday cake at the end of my treatments. I almost want to complain about price, but it was worth every penny =)

Yelp
I treat myself to Spa Shiki whenever I can. I travel a lot and always visit the spa where I stay. This is the spa I compare all others to, and most don't measure up. You can have lunch and stay all day using all the facilities (steam & dry saunas, hot tub, pool, meditation room) at no extra charge. They have a full service salon, (hair, nails, facials) as well as all types of massages and spa treatments. Complimentary fruit, tea, etc. A great way to pamper yourself.

Emily D.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my massage and my time at Spa Shiki! I went an hour early to enjoy the salt water whirlpool tub and meditation room! It was amazing!! The staff were really friendly and asked me if I needed water or a towel often. It was a great experience!!!

Mendy S.

Yelp
I was pampered from the beginning to the end of my visit at Spa Shiki. The mood, lighting, and music created the perfect atmosphere and the helpful staff were amazing! While relaxing between services, the spa offers teas, fruits, and magazines along with full spa amenities such as pools, sauna, and hot tub. One staff recommended to me that I drink some warm ginseng tea after mentioning that my stomach was queasy. I was delivered my tea with all the extras - what pampering! I had a facial and Swedish Massage and very much enjoyed both services. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I never felt rushed or unwanted. I seemed to be the most important person there when I was having a discussion with the staff. From a practical standpoint I was also impressed with Spa Shiki. My bill included the gratuity and I received a discount for being a 4 Seasons Lodge guest as well. It was nice to be handed one bill and not have to figure out the math while you are in a relaxed bliss! Spa Shiki is the best spa I have visited and they definitely exceeded my expectations!

Yelp
I made an appt for a main/pedi and should have known from the booking process that it wasn't going to work out. Both services I initially chose weren't available because apparently only one person does them (Deluxe Manicure and Sports Pedicure). After settling for a Spa Shiki Manicure and Deluxe Pedicure (seemed to be only available options) Amanda booked me for 2:30 and 4:00 appts. Upon arriving at the Salon at 2:20 I was checked in and asked to sit in the waiting area. At approx 2:40 Charley came for me to give me my manicure, only to be told by the other staff that she was there to assist the other patron and not me. I was then told by Amanda that my appts were for 3:30 and 5:00, although she's the one that booked them for 2:30 and 4:00 just a few hrs ago. They asked me if I wanted to put on a robe and steam or a bit while I waited for the 3:30 appt time but I politely said no. I am extremely disappointed that they were not able to do anything but apologize for a mistake that was clearly theirs. I am here for a conference and the other time slots were not conducive with conference activities. Had I known I would've just gone to the nail salon a few miles away.

Yelp
Spa Shiki at Lodge of the Four Seasons was a truly incredible experience start to finish. The staff there have made sure that every aspect of the time you spend there is refreshing and relaxing. The decor is very serene and peaceful and each room flows effortlessly into the next. The sauna and steam room were wonderful. The locker room was plush with an abundance of fresh towels and showering and pampering needs. I received a massage and facial while there and both were above par. From the skin care items used to the ability and technique of the masseuse and facial specialist, I was truly pampered. The variety and quality of items in their gift shop were also uplifting and a perfect way to finish what was truly an outstanding afternoon!

Yelp
This was my second visit to Spa Shiki and was just as wonderful as the first. I would highly recommend Spa Shiki to everyone. It is so relaxing and a very beautiful place. It is not a stuffy snotty spa so don't come to be "seen", come to enjoy and relax. I had the 80 minute Sweddish Massage.

Beth T.

Yelp
My sister gave me a gift of a massage while I stayed at the Lodge of Four Seasons. She frequently has massages, and said that the one that she had was wonderful. Mine was also. In addition, I was able to enjoy other amenities, in particular the infrared sauna and the relaxation room. As a novice to the spa world, I appreciated the understated signs that explained what to expect from my massage, and how to best experience the rest of the spa. My time at Spa Shiki was a welcome respite from my usual run-around life.

Yelp
I've been to many spas not just in the US but around the world. We chose Fourseason hotel as I've heard so many good things about spashiki. The staff were friendly but the spa lacked some minimal basics that every average spa has: there was no body or face lotion in the spa, the spa itself was very small ( you can't change this fact) but despite being small, it was not cleaned frequent enough: when I took shower, there was hair all over the floor and when I came back to shower at the end of the stay, the hair was still there. In all of the spas that I've been to ( even high end spas like Trump hotel's spa in Chicago or average one like fourseasons in St. Louis ) they provide spa access if you are a hotel guest or if you get any type of treatment( even a manicure). When we visited the spa didn't have running water and the water issue was fixed just 2 hours before the closing the spa. We went in any way as we had come all the way from St. Louis to try this spa but we were not offered any discount. We also asked of we can use it on Saturday but the said that don't have day passes for weekends ( they didn't provide any exceptions or discounts). $35 for a day pass for such a small spa with no discounts for the hotel guests or problem with the water is just too much and I was really disappointed.
