This ride was one I’ve wanted to do for awhile! I can say it was worth the wait. Aside from the ride actually not being what I thought it was going to be, (I went into this ride blindly) I was still left feeling super thrilled and honestly it was so much fun. Having been on the people mover, I didn’t expect the ride to be so dark… I honestly had a great neck breaking time but I felt like my head was gonna get cut off any moment of the ride. I restricted putting my arms up (even though I wanted to) and it made the ride a little less enjoyable but all in all it’s a classic for a reason and I loved it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bumpy, dark, and absolute classic adventure! You cannot visit Tomorrowland without paying respect to the original thrill ride: Space Mountain. Even with TRON right next door now, this indoor coaster remains a total rite of passage. The Experience: The magic of Space Mountain is that it feels faster than it actually is because you are in pitch blackness. You have no idea which way the track is going to turn or drop next, which makes it thrilling every single time. The "Star Tunnel" music in the queue is iconic and sets the mood perfectly before you blast off. Warning for New Riders: Be prepared—this is an "old school" coaster. It is jerky, bumpy, and throws you around a bit in the seat. It’s not smooth like the newer rides (Guardians or Seven Dwarfs), so if you have back issues, you might want to sit this one out. But if you love a wild, nostalgic ride in the dark, it is still the king of Tomorrowland. Tip: Try to get a seat in the front of the rocket for the best visuals of the starry sky, or the back for the most "whip" over the drops!

An old classic that I’ve been riding and loving since I was a kid! It’s definitely a little rickety these days and the ride vehicle is way too snug and uncomfortable, but once you’re on it, it’s still such a thrilling and fun ride. The darkness, lights, and speed always make this one a must-do, even with its quirks.

I absolutely love Space Mountain! But the Disneyland version both because of the ride vehicle seats that are side by side, the speakers for the music and that it is smooth. The Magic Kingdom version feels cramped and the ride is very rough and reminds me of the Matterhorn at Disneyland. Disney World needs to update this ride and make it smooth and the enjoyment would be twofold. This ride jerks you around and is very rough.

Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom is a true Disney classic and still one of the most exciting rides in the park. The dark setting, sudden turns, and fast drops create an incredible sense of speed and adventure, even without big loops or huge drops. The atmosphere in the queue, with its space theme and music, already sets the tone for the ride. It’s a must for anyone visiting, offering that mix of nostalgia and thrill that makes Disney so special.

The original and honestly the superior version to it's cousin in Disneyland. A landmark for the Tomorrowland, Space Mountain is a must ride when visiting Magic Kingdom.

Alright, dig this, man. Space Mountain, it's like... outta sight! I mean, the whole vibe, it's so retro-futuristic, you know? Like a time capsule from some groovy sci-fi flick. And the ride itself? Forget about it! You blast off into the cosmos, man, stars whizzing by, planets glowing, and this eerie music, it's like you're tripping through another dimension. You feel the G-forces, the whooshing wind, and you're just totally spaced out, man. The whole experience, it's a cosmic journey, a psychedelic adventure. You gotta check it out, man. It's totally groovy.

TL;DR: Space Mountain is a classic Disney coaster with a fun dark theme, but it’s jerky and can be tough on the back and knees. Worth trying once, but not a must-do for repeat visits. Space Mountain is a legendary Disney attraction with a fun "in the dark" motif that adds to the thrill of the ride. The wait time was short, which made it easy to hop on, but the ride itself is quite jerky and can be hard on the back. Additionally, the carts are a bit tricky to maneuver, especially for someone with knee replacements or mobility challenges. I’m glad I rode it to experience this iconic coaster, but I probably won’t prioritize it on future visits.
