I’ve had the pleasure of visiting many campgrounds, but my recent stay at Spacious Skies Country Oaks during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday season was nothing short of magical! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of the season. The campground itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious sites that provide ample room for RVs of all sizes. Each morning, I woke up to the peaceful sounds of nature, with the crisp winter air invigorating my spirit. If you’re considering winter camping, I wholeheartedly recommend Country Oaks Spacious Skies. It’s a hidden gem that offers the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and community spirit. I can’t wait to return for more unforgettable experiences in this festive paradise!

Sadie was extremely helpful with everything we needed. We were worried we wouldn't have firewood on the first night because we showed up late but she came over to our cabin and told us we could come to the store anytime just ring the bell. The deals were awesome in the store as well due to it being winter. This is our second year here and we will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for a great experience!

We have visited twice this season, once for a week long stay and again later in the season for a weekend visit. Both stays were AMAZING. The RV sites are a gracious size; staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; all the campers are friendly; and the activities they campground plan are fun, and plentiful. We will definitely be visiting this campground yearly and I strongly suggest you do the same. You will not be disappointed!!

By far our favorite campground we have been to! The staff is always super kind and helpful and we always have the best time meeting new people. The pool is great in the summer and every weekend there is always something fun planned. We have visited several times this past spring and summer and we are always looking forward to our next trip! Can’t wait to return and thank you for an awesome labor day weekend!

We are family shared Seasonal campers for the first time this year at Country Oaks, and let me tell you how fortunate we were to find this campground last fall! We came from an elite campground that was bought out by corporate so it was hard for us to locate another home after being there for 8 plus years. All of us absolutely love Sadie, Jimmy, Dawn and the rest of the staff, always go above and beyond helping with any problem we have. They are like family to us :) Labor Day weekend was a blast esp Sunday night when our son played his acoustic set there and everyone made him feel so welcomed and appreciated ; applauding after every song.. dancing… and even asked to come back again. Thank you.😊 This is now our home away from home.. close to beaches.. good food… best of all they allow golf carts! What an experience to be able to get around on that!❤️

We rented a cabin and was told when booking it was climate controlled. When we arrived on Nov 8th we found a small space heater sitting on the microwave. We plugged it in and within 10 minutes we lost all power to the cabin. The front desk came and restored the power. The evening of Nov 9th the temp dropped to 30 degrees outside and the little space heater was not keeping our room warm at all. So by 9pm I went to the front desk and told them that we would be checking out early do to the cold temperature of the cabin. We were not offered any compensation. Also the door to cabin 24 has a huge gap at the bottom of it large enough for the cold air to come in and even perhaps a small rodent. If your going to charge the amount of money you do to rent these cabins at least have a reliable heat source and not a small space heater that sets of breakers.

This our first time at this Campground with our new travel trailer. Campground is very well maintained and the pull thrus are great! Never had to disconnect from the tow vehicle. We had a problem with our drinking water hose and filter. I want to thank “Sandy” for the awesome person that she is. Very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. She walked along with us until we were set perfect with our pull thru site. Opened the Campground store early so we can purchase a new hose & filter. I can’t tell you how grateful we are for help. The world needs more like her. Thank you Sandy! I would come back to this Campground again & recommend it to others. Great job! Awesome Campground for the price.

They advertise winter camping, so before we arrived I asked if the jumping pillow was available, they said yes it was not. I asked if there was hot water in the showers, they said yes there was not. We booked a three night stay but were texted to add an additional night we said yes. We woke up on our second morning to no power and no one was available. It was freezing, and we already were annoyed with the other things, so we left. We left two nights early, we asked only for a refund for the one night. They said no. We will never return here. We usually only go to koa campgrounds but decided to try somewhere new, so much regret. They should be truthful and not act like having campers in the winter is such an inconvenience.

Yelp
Overall it was clean however the spots are small. The premium sites have a concrete pad and a nice fire pit with chairs provided however they have no shade. The shaded sites are wooded but all permanent. The pool was supposed to be open, but the water was not good and they didn't reopen it until the day before we left. Weather is high 80's and as I said before no shade no pool.

Yelp
This is our third time this season to Spacious Skies Campground in Dorothy, NJ. As first time RV owners, we could not have asked for a better experience. The campground, bathrooms, swimming areas, virtually everywhere is CLEAN! You can tell they take great pride in their property. Also, I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff here is. At this point, they know my family by first and last name. When we have had issues understanding our camper, they have been right there when we asked for help. This Soacious Skies is phenomena! All of that AND it is affordable! Thank you for a fantastic time, every time! The Zentz Family

Yelp
This place was amazing. The atmosphere and service was exceptional. Patty and Jim were very helpful and went above and beyond

Yelp
Quiet, clean, friendly, helpful staff. We saw lots of amenities for kids. I enjoyed our fall weekend getaway to this campground. The site was level. The hookups were all in good condition. There was a concrete patio, picnic table, and fire ring. Most of the sites were heavily shaded. We had a pull-through site for our 5th wheel. I would stay here again.

Yelp
There are plenty of campgrounds in South Jersey; this one stands out. It is primarily a seasonal campground. That means most people rent a spot for the whole summer or longer. Camp sites are available monthly as well. The remaining sites are available on a daily basis. You get all the requisite hookups and amenities your site fee including WiFi, cable, electric, water, sewer. You are not far from Atlantic City, its expressway, and the Parkway so it's easy to get to. The place is quiet too; maybe not a Mecca for kids, but there is a game room for them and a basketball court as well. What I like is this is a family run business and a very friendly vibe throughout, both management and clientele. Check them out

Yelp
I have always loved camping here, but not anymore. Campground was suddenly sold without warning and deposits made from season site holders that are now leaving because of changes were told they would not be getting their deposit back. I know a lot of people leaving now. Childrens playground has been torn down and will not be replaced. A great campground is now no longer.

Yelp
The campground was sold recently. Owners are not on site. Staff is horrible. They answer everything with "oh well". They took away the tv and internet. No snack shack. No activities for the kids anymore. It's not their responsibility to entertain us. Their words not mine. They close the barren store early and when they close the pool closes. I guess that's what happen when you have kids running the place. The "manager" treats people like they are bothering her. No customer service skills in this campground whatsoever. Don't expect a stocked store. We used to be able to get bread and stuff but not anymore. Overpriced junk and campground shirts. A lot of seasonal pulled out and more will be at the end of this season - their response? OH WELL. How do you say that to your customers? Do yourself a favor and avoid this campground. If I could give negative stars I would.

Yelp
Let me just say I haven't been camping in quite a few years & was looking forward to meeting friends at Country Oaks for the weekend. I've been to some pretty bare campgrounds over the years but this is not one of them. This place was top notch! Our site was a decent size for the 25' trailer we rented & we were not on top of our neighbors. Hook ups are provided for water, sewer & electric at a reasonable price (we paid $60 a night for the benefit of a pull thru site). Regular W, S & E sites are $56. They do provide areas where you can tent camp (no tent camping for this gal!) but mostly people have trailers; some are seasonal. Our site also had a cement patio on it which is helpful if the weather is bad. Slinging mud isn't my thing anymore;) The campground is quite quiet (mostly an older crowd) with a gorgeous pool area & snack bar. Some of the newer sites have the firepit & wrought iron furniture on the slab. There is a barn area with arts & crafts for the kids as well as a basketball court & game room. There is a general store that supplies most of the things one may forget. The place is pretty immaculate. Public restrooms are clean & trash is picked up in front of sites regularly. Staff is super friendly! This particular weekend they had a live band for country night. Due the potentially bad weather the band ended up inside the recreation room. It worked out great & the place was packed. The band was good, however aside from the singer wearing western boots they were hardly a western band. Lots of dancing but unfortunately no country line dancing this night. I'm looking forward to coming back again next year.

Yelp
Was a seasonal at County Oaks for 20 years, then it got sold to Spacious Skies, after asking them all season if I would have to change my site and being told that it was fine, the 2nd week of September, we were told that our site was not going to be seasonal any more and that we would have to apply for the very limited seasonal sites that they were going to have and that we would not file out until October if we were approved. I had a deck that was the length of my trailer with a Silver top florida room and a shed, was told we had to cut our decks, cannot have the florida room anymore and also were not aloud to have the sheds, I don't know where they want you to store your bikes, etc. Needless to say they got rid of cable tv (they said we could stream Netflix, etc.) but had not internet all season. They had not activities for the kids all season or bands and dances and got rid of bingo. We have packed up and left there and would not recommend going there. They also got rid of the gates so anyone could come and go and take your stuff. I would not even give this place 1 star, I believe they are trying to get rid of all the seasonals, they think that they can fill it with people that just want to come for the weekend or a week, they couldn't even fill it this year. It used to be a great place, now all it is a trailer park with a pool, playground and jump pillow, they say they are the 3 p's but they left out 4 and 5, Pagans and Police, which we had this summer too!
