This is a very special place! Some might say, “it’s out of this world!” We tent camped for 3 nights here in the fall. It’s a tranquil campground; the focal point of the campground is a large pond with great views from almost all campsites. It is a short drive from the main highway and there is almost no traffic on the gravel road. There are 2 dog park areas. The WiFi is spotty but who needs WiFi when you’re enjoying the great outdoors. The bathrooms are well taken care of. There are 2 shower stalls. Plenty hot, low pressure. We were here during the fall festivities and had a fun time decorating our spot with spooky decorations for the trick or treaters when they came by, and passing out candy. Our home in Colorado gets no trick or treaters due to how rural it is, so it’s nice to be able to participate in some Halloween festivities! We loved well-planned layout of this campground. It was nice how the activities for the weekend were posted, as well as flyers for local attractions. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we would totally stay here again. And very reasonably priced!

We stayed here for the second time and the sites are great. Large and some even have decently sized dog enclosures. The fence could be higher but overall the whole place was great. My only issue was that the sites aren't very level giving us a really long step up even with an added step. The bathrooms are rustic yet spotless. finally the people were uniformly friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay at the Woodland Hills location. I have 2 dogs and the cosmic k-9 site was FANTASTIC!! I am used to camping and having my dogs on a lead when they are outside with us and getting tangles up and this made it so nice. They were outside with us, but not tripping us and under our feet while we were eating. The sites were large - I also have 2 kids, 5 & 6 and they bring bikes and scooters and we have an easy up that we put on our site as well and there was still plenty of room. (Also our trailer is 38ft. for reference) The staff were all so friendly, and the pool was great! This is a place we would love to come back to again.

Our daughter found Spacious Skies-Woodland Hills while searching for a campground for the 4th of July. We were very happy with our first visit that we booked 2 additional stay and even brought more family with us! Lots of fun to be had! We have already booked 2 stays for 2026 so far! Staff is more than helpfully and willing to help with any question or concern one may have. Campground is clean and well maintained. Restrooms are spotless. Can’t wait for the 2026 camping season!

The grounds were fantastic, and the staff was incredibly helpful. We had a great time playing the bag toss before settling in for a wonderful campfire. As a tent camper, I often get asked about shower facilities when I go camping. When I say bathhouse, they cringe because they've had some terrible experiences, but the bathhouse at Spacious Skies was kept so clean. Taking a shower there was actually relaxing. The countertops were clean, making it easy to put my toiletries out, and the bathroom had a hotel-like feel. The shower curtains were also clean, and there was barely a spider web or bug flying around. Our visit was the first week of June.

A very nice low key campground. We stayed during the week and it was very quiet. A big shout out to Laurie in the office. She was very helpful and super friendly. My grandkids enjoyed the beautiful pool, paddle boats, jump pillow and rock mining. We stayed in our travel trailer and my daughter rented the blue retro trailer. The grounds crew worked the entire time we were there (6 days) maintaining the property. This campground is about 10 minutes off I90 and would be a great layover on a long road trip.

Stayed one night with our trailer on our way home from Cape Cod. We needed to change our site (reserved site turned out to be very sloped and small) and were graciously accommodated. This was the second week of September, so not sure how this would have played out during the summer. The campground was nicely maintained. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. WiFi was good. Water pressure a bit low but no real issues from it. I will definitely check out other Spacious Skies in our travels.

Google
I stayed for over a month while working nearby. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My visiting grandchild learned to swim in their brand new pool! Even though I overlapped with to holiday weeks, the campers around me were quiet and respectful neighbors. I’ve recommended Spacious Skies Woodland Hills to several coworkers for next year.

Yelp
Lovely campground with such very helpful staff. We have an RV and as newbies, needed guidance with hook-ups. Made reservation same-day and selected a site but added a comment in the Notes section re new to RV life. Staff read the note, switched our site for easier backing in, and had someone ready to help when we arrived. And the helper wouldn't take a tip. If these are the kind of folks and immaculate campground we will run into all the time as RV'ers, we are truly happy campers. Thanks for starting us off on this RV journey so perfectly. Laura & John PS Attached is a photo (out our window) of the adorable campers they have by the pond available for guests.

Yelp
As an 8 year Seasonal Camper at Woodland Hills Camp Grounds in Austerlitz, NY I cannot say how unpleasant it has become with the take over of Spacious Skies. For several weeks wells have been contaminated with ground water, DOH has them under Boil Water Alert. Prior owners were up on testing wells and chlorination regularly. Pets have been affected and sick. Protocol for alerting campers has been lacking with many being informed by their neighbors. Also for over a 30 days period there is a constant odor from the septic leach fields and surface water. Neither issues were ever a problem in our 8 years on site full time. We are being told it is a regional problem in Columbia County. But residents surrounding the camp ground are not having problems when questioned. Nothing has been done with the swimming pond , over grown, weeds and muck. Public restrooms are filthy. Lacking hand soap, toilet paper, etc. Use to be very sanitary and the smell of bleach. Labor day weekend nothing had been done, along with broken toilet seat. This past weekend tge same thing, no one is checking cleaning toilets, showers, sinks, floors or mirrors. Their new GM is totally in the dark, cannot get answers from new Corporate members. Our electric bills have not been produced since August 15th. GM blames an employee on site for being out sick for 1.5 days. Many are pulling up stakes and leaving out of disgust and frustration. We made up our minds 2 weeks ago to vacate and did so after a lot of reluctance in our initial investment. Rated a 1 star but would not have given that if the choice was no stars.

Yelp
Friendly staff, beautiful campground. New owners clearly making efforts to improve the campground. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
My wife and I were seasonal campers here for 4 years. The camp is older with an older infrastructure. This summer the camp was sold to a group called Spacious Skies. They raised the rates approximately 62%. That's not even an issue really. The septic system overflowed and contaminated the camps wells, resulting in a boil water order. Management never notified us, we only found out a few days later from other campers. Our dog got sick and we ended up with a $200 vet bill. The restrooms for the final month of the 2021 camping season were filthy. Apparently the manager doesn't have time to check to see if they are being cleaned, however he does have time to stop for a beer with the campers. (yes we were there when his did this) Life is good right? If you go here, be careful about how you use the water.

Lisa E.

Yelp
We pre-paid for four months and I do not wish that place on anyone the manager and her boyfriend are very rude they literally lied about activities saying they were a liability and they were not there to entertain. The water had black chunks, And the electric is a 110 line with a 30 amp plug so you can only use one air conditioner if you're looking for a vacation spot that is not the place.the pond is very dirty and slimy. Nothing for the children to do.

Yelp
my wife and I spent a fantastic relaxing weekend at this campground. we are tent campers and the sites were the perfect size, the new bath house is perfectly placed and clean. would highly recommend a stay here with it without kids!

Megan G.

Yelp
I've camped at Woodland Hills with my parents for over 30yrs .Our campground was bought over by corporate and made a huge increase in the price promising improvements. My parents gave up their winter vacation to make it happen. We followed the rules and made all the improvements around our sites. Every demand they made was abided by. They say 'Lead by example?? They have a dog on a leash rule where once again I guess they missed the memo....Their dogs roam leash free. All the improvements and changes were lies! No activities for kids. Campers got together and took out of their own pockets to buy supplies, games, arts and crafts and keep the kids happy and busy. That was frowned apon and turned down quickly by G.M. Our annual Halloween weekend was denied and shut down by GM's telling us we couldn't have it for no reason. We were willing to put the time and $ in for these kids to have something. The unprofessionalism and the lack of empathy at its all time high was a slap in the face for all. One G.M has no social skills and the biggest power trip. Speaks to you like you are beneath her. My parents there over 38yrs in their 70's got denied to come back reason being "because they had a fire every night that brought people together they didn't want that because that's how rumors get started" ??? My mom cried for weeks being forced to try and sell their new trailer and get rid of 38yrs worth of memories for something they didn't do nor could prevent?!?When campers heard about it the love and support they showed and how they all stood up for them was heartwarming. All the calls, talks and the amount of emails that went out to both corporate and the GM's defending and pleading for my parents to stay was the most raw feeling. More and more seasonals pulled out and said they're done because there was more tension and stress going on. This once upon a time happy place started feeling cold and miserable. Before the season ended we all decided to have the last get together and that night they (GM's)called the cops telling them "We had huge bonfires going and that they feared for their lives"The cops were confused and upset. Mad they wasted their time. They should of got a charge that night for a false claim. The following morning the G.M comes flying up to the B hill on his golf cart screaming to the top of his lungs "Gd morning" singing "nana na na hey hey hey gd bye" provoking campers. Sticking his middle finger up and taunting them. Another rule broken! What has happened here in just 6 months left so many devastated, confused and at a loss for words. A ruthless villain who lied to corporate on many because they didn't like anyone to voice their concerns or opinions. Immature and heartless how they can turn so many campers lives upside down that fast and get away with it is beyond me! It wasn't because of the ammenities or what the campground offered it was the people. When they say "It takes a village to raise a child" that's what every camper did.Our kids were safe to roam around. There was no drama,no destructive kids/parents. No drugs or disrespect of any sort. Campers going through hell to get deposits back because they denied campers from coming back 2wks before closing without warning or any reasonable answer. Threatened to use campers credit cards they had on file if they didn't pay a bill. If all this wasn't bad enough they turned the water off before the closing of the season. Just spiteful! We all were scrambling to help everyone pull out and pack up in such short notice. Shame on them for that! We've left reviews that keep getting deleted and campers blocked. The good reviews we've read from people that said "They been seasonals and how lovely and great the place is" Obviously fake because none of us saw or heard of these names. And we knew all that was there. Definitely fake reviews! The impact on so many good people they caused should not go unheard or swept under the rug.It won't change the hurt or bring back what we've lost but it will give us some type of closure and clarity. They need to be reprimanded and held accountable for the storm they've created! All based off of lies and over use of authority. For corporate not to investigate or look into this goes to show $ and power is the root to all evil! That much evil and ugliness in someone is not ok! Karma will kick

Yelp
Was a transit then seasonal camper there for 4 years; under the previous mom and pop that owned it and then the new management Spacious Skies. Campground was old but well maintained under old owners. There were pre planned activities every weekend and the campground was full most weekends. Under new management, rates tripled and campers both weekend and seasonal left. This years rates went up again. Another $1,000. Spacious Skies promised a full slate of activities every weekend, a refreshed beach, new playground equipment, cleaned up pond, new paddle boats, leveled campsites, updated bathrooms, an in-ground swimming pool, upgraded electrical, better wifi, improved roads, new rec center, better laundry facility and a new store. They delivered on new playground equipment. They installed a jump pillow that was rarely functioning or used. A mining game that cost $10 to $60 for a child to play. Did work on the roads at the season close along with some drainage. They installed wifi that was metered, very spotty throughout park and slow. Nothing was done to install a pool, pond remained stagnant and gross, nothing done with old bathrooms, sites were never improved, sewage flowed out of pipes, water was boil water advisory for 1.5 years, activities where limited at best. The campground is in the Berkshire Mountains near the out-dated Lee Mass. outlet stores. It is 20 minutes from Lebanon Valley Speedway. No other attractions are nearby. I've camped at far better locations for more reasonable rates. As a camper of 60 + years; do yourself a favor and skip this campground. You and the kids will thank me later; I promise! If you do go, do it with eyes wide open and ask yourself what and I receiving for what I am paying.

Yelp
The road to get to this campground had some steep hills for my old RV, but it was worth it. It has a cute lake in the middle, very nice and grassy. Nice to go walking. Not many pull through sites, but I liked it. It had a rec hall, washer and dryers were outside, right behind the office. It was clean. I did not use the restrooms / showers, and did not see them. It was very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend it.

Teresa A.

Yelp
We had a large beautiful site by the pond. Had a great fire using their very dry wood. The road to get there is a bit challenging for big rigs but was worth it. Only there for 1 night but would have enjoyed a little longer stay.

Yelp
I have been traveling in my Rv for 6 months and have not written a review yet. I felt the need to write about this campground. Although it is very pretty it is a live in campground. I was here 3 nights and not one person spoke to me. Not able to get any local channels or my dish to connect. WiFi very spotty. Ok for over night but I would not recommend. The staff was nice but a funky place to stay. Sorry

Yelp
We tried this campground out for the first time on Memorial Day and we liked it so much we decided to go back when it was a little quieter. When I decided to log my Yelp review, I was shocked that it was so low. This campground was very well-kept. The campground has a mix of yearly and weekend campers, but everyone was so nice that I felt very comfortable staying here. The facilities are a little old and the bathroom was clean but you could tell that it had been there for a few years. Still it smelled nice and it looks like it is cleaned regularly. My family enjoyed the activities, especially Bingo and the hayride. They had a band on Saturday night that was really good. It was a little loud for my taste but they played a lot of good music. The Veteran's ceremony was a nice touch and it is something that you don't see very often. It was nice to see someplace actually celebrating the true meaning of Memorial Day. They also have a lake and I caught a few fish, but it is catch and release so I threw them back. The first site we were on was level and actually had a place to plug in my sewer hose. They had two playgrounds which my kids enjoyed. The second time we stayed here we were in what they called the safari. It is kind of a crazy name for what is basically a big open area with trees, but this time I was able to use my 50 amp hookup. The second time I stayed the campground was much quieter, so we had a more peaceful stay. They still had a few things for the kids to do, but we got to play Bingo and had a good time. I have no problem recommending this campground to anyone. The small problems are more than made up for by the nice people I met and the fact that it looks really nice. This place deserves a much better rating than it has.

Yelp
This was a pretty nice place to stop for the night. They had the necessities, a full hookup site, 50 amp connection for an addt'l fee as well as a laundry. Our site was level and we managed to back in nicely. The lady in the store was pleasant and we had a nice talk about local restaurants. She recommended a nice Italian spot called Jimmy D's and we had a nice meal there. The campground is really out in the middle of nowhere. Even though the restaurant was nice, we still had to drive 20 minutes to get there. Finding a grocery store would be a real pain, as the place we went to only had a Family Dollar, but we managed to get a few essentials. After we got back from Dinner we took a walk and really enjoyed the lake. The campground was very clean with nice looking grass and no trash, a big change from some places we've stayed. I'd recommend this campground to anyone who isn't afraid to backup and needs a place to stay for the night.

Yelp
Good space, kind neighbors. Pull up your trailer, build a deck and stay the summer. Close to western Mass.

Yelp
I had the delightful pleasure of staying at the Woodland Campground over the weekend. The tent sights were large, with a picnic table and fire ring, and set off away from the RVs. It was clean and well kept, with free showers and several playgrounds. It also has a swimming area and paddle boats. I had accidentally scheduled for the wrong weekend and when I called the day I thought I was supposed to be there, they offered to move it to the following weekend at no charge. The roads were a bit rough for my little car, but in general I was very pleased to stay here.

Yelp
The is very little truth in Sara's review. The campground is in a rural setting, very pleasant, no mosquitoes and 10 degrees cooler than in town. We have never had any trouble making a full payment reservation. If arriving before check in time there is an extra charge. Sara probably did not want to pay it. This is usual in many campgrounds. There are no permanent residences there. The campground is closed between October and May. The are seasonal campsites and many that are not seasonal. There are tent sites, pop-up sites, trailer, and motor home sites, most with full hookups. Most campers are within 10 years old with tidy, clean sites. I've never seen motion sensor security lights and I've been here 27 years. There is one set of outhouses in one area for emergency use. Two nice bath houses serve those campers who do not have bathrooms. The campground is mostly grass, well maintained. Sites are level, more level than most other campgrounds that cost $75 per nite. Yes there is a PA system that makes announcements re trash, quiet time, etc but also announces activities our campers love. It is not used all day and nite. There is TV, three local channels, we are after all in the Berkshires! Wi fi is available around the office area and many people use it. The best part of camping here is the people. Very friendly and always there for a hand. I hope I have the opportunity of enjoying camping at Woodland Hills for 27 more years. Thank you Nancy, Rich and Lee!

S. N.

Yelp
This is an incredibly unpleasant campground. It is in a rural residential area off a dirt road. The staff lied about availability to secure a full payment reservation. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in and despite our site being ready, they made us leave the property. The campground is entirely permanent residences. Old campers with decks, tacky decorations and motion sensor security lights. There was only ONE other rig that wasn't permanent in the entire park. The bathrooms are dirty and old with missing ceiling tiles and the showers are coin operated. There are outhouses in the loops without showers. The sites are grass and not level at all. Hooking back up to leave is a nightmare. The washer and dryers are outside for some reason. There is a creepy PA system that makes loud "Attention Campers" announcements about trash and curfew all day and night. At $50 a night there was no TV or Wi-Fi. We will not be staying here again and instead will try Fox Hill Campground down the road or, if need be, change our entire route to avoid this place.
