If you’re a tourist, don’t even think about dining here without reading my review and others like it.
I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Wednesday evening around 9:30 PM. When I greeted the staff and asked if they had a table for two, two employees responded simultaneously with contradictory answers: one said the restaurant was full, while the other claimed they were closing soon, even though the restaurant’s closing time was 11 PM. This conflicting information was confusing and unprofessional.
Determined to give them another chance, I returned on Sunday around 6:30 PM. I greeted the staff again and inquired about a table for two. They asked if I had a reservation, and when I said no, they informed me they were fully booked. The restaurant was eerily quiet, and I noticed two employees standing idle at the reception. Given that they also have an indoor terrace, it was clear they weren’t at full capacity, casting doubt on their claim of being fully booked.
I shared these experiences with locals, and they were astonished by the treatment I received.
To add, during my many visits to Slovenia, I’ve never encountered such poor service.
This restaurant does not reflect Slovenian hospitality in any way. I ended up dining elsewhere and had a delightful experience.
