Sparrow Wine Bar

Great food and love the vibe here! Tried it out for an anniversary dinner -- it's tapas-style, and we ordered Iberico and the pan con tomate, which was like a flatbread. All tasted great! They had a full cocktail menu as well, and I had the Sazerac and the "You're A Star Milk Punch" (no milk) -- they also tasted fantastic. The ambiance is also worth highlighting -- very low-key and refined. As can be expected, there was also a very extensive wine list!

Ambiance? 5 stars. Food? 5 stars. Service? Definitely 5 stars. Everything was just excellent. We arrived on a Friday night around 6:45 pm, and the only tables available were outside. I was a bit surprised that they were fully booked inside, given the time. The hostess apologized and said that if we wanted to sit inside without waiting, we could go to Reyes, their sister restaurant. Nice of her, but no: if I came to Sparrow, I want Sparrow. We ended up sitting at a high-top table outside which, despite being small, wasn't an issue since the tapas-style dishes and serving plates were also small. Our server, Jackie, was extremely friendly and quick; she explained the menu and brought us water right away. I asked to try two red wines and, even though my friend hadn't shown any interest in drinking, she immediately asked "can bring the two samples for you to try as well?". Quite generous. We both ended up ordering a glass of Malbec each, which paired quite well with the food. For starters, we ordered the Pulpo and a side of bread with olive oil. I assumed the Pulpo would come grilled, but I clearly overlooked the fact that one would hardly get grilled octopus at a restaurant of this caliber for $18. I was a bit disappointed to see preserved octopus served from a tin (which, according to our server, was "just for show") and not in a very generous portion. The flavor, however, was excellent. As to the bread, it was toasted just right, and the olive oil (definitely Spanish) paired beautifully with everything. After that, we shared the Arroz Negro, which was without a doubt the best dish of the night. An explosion of flavor. Again, the amount of seafood wasn't exactly generous, but the taste and texture were simply di-vine. I squeezed some lime over the shrimp and boom. Perfection. Not fully satisfied, we ordered the Basque Cheesecake which, while tasty, was more of a reinterpretation of the true tarta de queso vasca. I was expecting a dark, caramelized, burnt top forming a thin crust, but I didn't quite get that crust. Yet, it was delicious. I might come back just for the cheesecake and a cup of espresso if they're open in the afternoon. The cherry on top of the cheesecake (tu dum tsss) was the birthday postcard the server brought, signed by several staff members. I truly felt appreciated. Big kudos to Chef Jennie (who always kills it) and Jackie for such a memorable dining experience. Bravo!

Every moment of the dinner experience here is so well thought out! The restaurant is gorgeous and such a comfortable atmosphere. The tapas are incredible and that tomato gimlet is *chefs kiss*. Will be a regular here for sure. Shout to Lesley for the wonderful service and recommendations!

I’d been wanting to try Sparrow for a while, and I’m glad we finally made it out for a girls night! We made a reservation ahead of time since we heard the space was small and more on the intimate side. The interior is super cute and VERY aesthetic! We ordered a few dishes to share, and my favorite was the mushroom pâté. I’d read good things about it, and it really did live up to the hype. Not what I expected, but in a good way! Our server was friendly and gave us some recommendations. My cocktail was a bit too strong for my taste, so I’d probably try something different next time. My sister did order the martini which we thought came with a pintxo as stated in the menu…but I guess they consider the garnish a pintxo (we were a little sad about that, I guess we’re used to it being more like a tapa on a stick/skewer). And another thing that was a letdown—we saw on the website that there was a late night happy hour starting at 9pm, which is why we booked a later reservation. But when we got there, the menu said “coming soon,” and our server confirmed it wouldn’t be happening for a few more months. That was a little disappointing since it was one of the main reasons we chose that reservation time. Still, it’s a cute spot and worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Our server was amazing! Decor was really nice and has a cozy vibe. My favorite plate was the Caesar carpaccio. Edit: I went back and tried the Salmon & Tuna Crudo and the fish was low quality and not fresh. Other than that, other things were good.

Fantastic food and service! The entire staff was terrific, and Sophia C was our server, and she was phenomenal. We came in without a reservation for a table of 6, and they were able to accommodate us and were happy to seat us. We were here for a work trip, and we frequent Orlando a lot for work, and this place was outstanding. The ambience is fantastic. Good music, relaxing, dimmed lighting. It was a perfect way to wrap up a long weekend of work on a Monday. Sophia was attentive and cared about our group. The food was terrific, and her recommendations were excellent. On top of that, we know it’s a pain to split bills, but because we come here for work due to finance expense policies, it is required that we split and itemize receipts, and Sophia had zero issues with this and went above and beyond. Other restaurants get easily frustrated by this request, but she was able to handle it efficiently without making us feel like a burden. This place is on my list of places to visit again when in Orlando. Thank you for the good ambience, music, drinks, food, and above all, AMAZING service.

While the vibes and drinks are great, The food was unfortunately disappointing. Other than the mushroom pate, everything else we had wasn't that impressive. Also, it's overpriced for what you're getting. Service was friendly, but it was a bit slow. I'd only want to come back to try the afternoon tea.

Visited with friends this past weekend and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a night out. The food was absolutely incredible, and we shared everything, which gave us the chance to try a variety of dishes. Standouts were definitely the Mushroom Pate and the Filet. The only minor downside was the seating at our table (right when you walk in, to the left). The chairs felt a bit low and cramped, making it a little tricky to get comfortable at first, especially with limited legroom. Thankfully, it seemed like this setup wasn't at every table, and we were still able to enjoy ourselves. Overall, a memorable evening with great food, great company, and a lively ambiance. Would definitely return!

Came to Sparrow for the first time for one of their monthly afternoon tea events, and the space alone makes an impression. The restaurant is gorgeous, cozy, stylish, and the kind of place you actually want to linger in with its comfy seating and relaxed vibe. The afternoon tea comes with a gourmet three-tiered tray: a cheddar scone with homemade butter and blueberry compote, four tea sandwiches, and four beautifully crafted desserts (including a lovely Earl Grey profiterole). Most of it was delicious, though I could have skipped the beef and tomato sandwich, it was quite bloody and made the bread soggy. There were about ten teas to choose from, which made the experience feel customizable and fun. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout. At $65 per person, this is definitely one of the pricier afternoon tea options in Orlando, but the ambiance and presentation make it feel like a special outing.

If you're looking for a place that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard, The Sparrow Wine Bar definitely delivers. Yes, it is a bit pricey (their pricing on the menu online is accurate)... but it was absolutely delicious! My friend and I started with some Tomato Gimlets since we love tomatoes. PLEASE TRY THIS! I know it's a wine bar, but I promise you the Tomato Gimlet is not at all like a Bloody Mary. It was a very sophisticated and enjoyable beverage. The Focaccia was absolutely mind blowing. On first glance, blue cheese and honey seem like a questionable combo but they work so well together. My main entree was the Rigatoni Verde which was incredible. The short rib was so good and the noodles were very tender. We finished up with a glass of wine (I mean we HAD to try the wine... 10/10 recommendation from our server) and the very rich and decadent chocolate cake (which was TO DIE FOR). Our server was fantastic! She checked on us frequently, was very kind, and had great recommendations. I would love to keep coming back here :)

Terrible experience, sadly. MEAN WORKERS, SLOW SERVICE, DENIED extra food, and was upset had a party of 7???? (So DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A GROUP OF PEOPLE) For how EXPENSIVE it was too, I'd at least expect better from this place. I've received way better service from a McDonald's. I was so excited to come here with my friends (Saturday November 1st around 7/8pm) We started off with 5 people, and had 2 more people joining us. I asked our server if we could either move to a bigger table, or if it was okay to squeeze everyone in where we were already. (I just wanted to make sure if it was okay with them, we truly did not mind staying in one table if there was no others available) They said no, and someone came to the table saying how "this wasn't the place for that". So you're telling me if you have a party of 7 or more this is not the place to be? Lol okay. Well now I know, for never again. Just happy to warn others After that situation, the service we received- felt like forever. It was like no one wanted to serve our table anymore and short to say, basically we were being stared at from each worker the entire night. Felt uncomfortable. My friend asked if she could get a side of grapes that we ordered from our cheese board and that she would even pay extra just for the grapes only, and they denied serving us it.- mind you after eating this cheese board I felt sick, and my stomach was upset for 2 days. I'm just really shocked because I was really excited and had high expectations for this place from what I've seen and heard. But the service my friends and I received really killed the night.

The intimate dim atmosphere of Sparrow Wine Bar is such a vibe. The service is also amazing. Our server gave us some drink and food recommendations, and everything was fantastic.  The Tomato Gimlet was definitely my favorite thing I tried. I am such a tomato lover and this drink was everything I hoped it would be. My favorite bite of the night was definitely the focaccia. I wasn't sure how the blue cheese and honey would be together on the bread, but the combo was amazing, and the focaccia was nice and pillowy. We also ordered the Roasted Eggplant and the Pan Con Tomate. The Roasted Eggplant came on a puffy bread and was topped with peppers and onions. It was a good combo and I enjoyed it a lot. The Pan Con Tomate tasted good, but it came to the table a little soggy.  The prices are definitely steep, but worth it for the quality and the experience. I would definitely return for a date night or special occasion.

When you walk in, the atmosphere immediately feels elevated and intimate. Dim lighting and the music set the mood but allowed conversation. We got the granita margarita and the new Cuban. The mar was spirit-forward and delicious. The new Cuban for us missed the mark and tasted more like prune juice. The girl's dinner was absolutely great and the Caesar salad was probably one of the best I've had. The only comment was that the chicken schnitzel was a bit tough and I had a hard time cutting it with a dull knife. The rigatoni verde was everything you expect and more. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again with friends in the near future.

3.5/4.0 on this visit! We went to this restaurant tonight for some apps and a bunch of drinks and it turned out pretty well. The atmosphere is unique for that area of town and enjoyable. The prices can be a little bit high for the value in terms of food quality or just standard drinks. But overall you're paying for some of the ambience in my opinion. I would definitely return to this and do a full-fledge meal to update my rating in the future.

I was greeted with a warm welcome, guided through the cocktail and food menus and never felt rushed. The drinks were excellent and the food full of excellent textures and flavors. I love a cozy, dimly lit hideaway and with the decor and lighting, this was exactly that place. Great job, Sparrow.

I am absolutely obsessed with this pace! I do want to warn you though do not come here with an appetite. This is not a place that you come eat a meal. It's a place for the aesthetics. The vibe is pleasing, the drinks are inexpensive and very strong, and the seats are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in my life. I love that the benches and chairs are overstuffed with pillows. The atmosphere in this wine bar is very chill. Honestly, it looks like it was made by a millennial for a millennials. The cool thing about it?It's owned by the same people who run Reyes up the street, so after you get your wine on, you can go up the street grab another drink and grab some food (or dessert like we did). The cheese plate was a welcome surprise and I also ordered the truffle fries with the caviar & garlic aioli dip. It was very high end, and worth every penny!

Absolutely enjoyed this place! Walked in and got lucky with seats at the bar! Sophie was a wonderful and talented bartender; extremely knowledgeable and provided great recommendations! We ordered the say cheese to begin, and it was great! The vodka pasta was perfectly cooked! The sauce was velvety and had just enough spice to take it to another level. The ambiance of the bar was moody and vibey, great for girls night out or date night! I'll definitely be back!

The ambiance was beautiful! Absolutely stunning! It was such a romantic vibe as soon as you enter. I was obsessed with the aesthetic! Me and a couple of friends went out to dinner and had the absolute best time. I was able to try the wines before I was poured a glass which I loved. Our server was named Amanda and she was such a sweetheart. She was very patient and offered great recommendations for wine and food options. Definitely recommend her service. The food was absolutely delicious. At first I was debating on getting food, but couldn't resist when I seen how the pasta came out for my friend. I try not to eat pork, which the meat was pork, but they were able to put the meat on the side. I loved that. I was very happy with what I ordered. I can't wait to go back for more. This time for date night. Definitely recommend if you need a quiet intimate setting like date night or just hanging out with a few friends.

On paper, Sparrow ticks all of my boxes - gorgeous midcentury inspired design, an eclectic pan-European menu, a BIRD LOGO!, and an impressive and unique wine list... but in execution unfortunately it fell flat. My group of four was seated at a very low, very wide round table, which are waitress had to explain how to get in and out of because of the chair situation. The first half an hour proceeded normally, we put in cocktail orders, perused the menu... Then around 9 o'clock the disco ball came on. We thought this was a cute little gimmick at first...everyone snapped photos, oh so cute... then we realized the music volume had also come up... and the disco ball was staying on. And now, combined with our extra wide table, plus the nauseating pattern of the disco ball, conversation ground to a halt. My friends and I had to yell at each other across the table to attempt a conversation. We passed on dessert and got out of there as quick as we could so we could actually finish our catching up. It's a shame because the food we had (focaccia, shoestring fries, steak) was really good, it's just that the volume and atmosphere made it unbearable. I want to come back and give Sparrow another shot, but it needs to be thought of as an early evening, happy hour or appetizer type of place... Certainly not the focus of your evening.

When I saw via email Sparrow was in its soft opening, that it's a wine bar AND it's the newest restaurant from the Good Salt Restaurant Group, I went the very next day with my friends and we were not disappointed! Pressley and Giselle were our servers and they checked on us frequently without being obtrusive. Such a great duo, knowledgeable about the food menu as well as the wines. Normally my camera eats first on everything, but somehow I only got a pic of the Caesar Carpaccio, which was our favorite dish. We loved running the Tuna and Salmon Crudo through the crumbs that were left on the carpaccio plate. The Mushroom "Pate" was an extremely close runner up for favorite dish. Say Cheese, without adding either of the extras, was a fantastic cheese board, and was a really great size. We also had the truffle fries (I truly love whenever I can order truffle fries), which were perfectly cooked, not overly truffle-y, and stayed warm and crisp for a long time. The final non dessert item we had was the focaccia, which is loaded with carmelized onions and blue cheese. The dessert we shared was the Sparrow Chocolate Cake (my vote for Basque cheesecake was overruled); like everything else, it was fantastic. I love the inside; it 100% has a lounge vibe, with music you can hear but you don't have to scream over, and lounge seats that look typical but for the fact you can turn the chair to get into it without having to pull the chair out. Such a simple touch that I couldn't get over and had to tell each friend as she arrived. There's a small bar that maybe seats 6-8ish people; I didn't get to actually count the seats and I had a friend count them, but that was over a week ago and I have forgotten what she said. I will 100% be returning to Sparrow and recommend it to you and yours.

The interior is SO cute and aesthetic!! We grabbed a few things to share. My favorite was the mushroom pate which I read was good, so it did live up to the hype (definitely not what I expected, but in a good way). Our waiter was nice and willing to give recommendations. My drink was definitely too strong for my liking so if I ever come back then I'll definitely choose something else. My sister ordered the martini, and the menu said it came with a pintxo so I guess we had different expectations because they called the drink garnish the pintxo...(we're a little sad about that but I guess we're used to eating pintxo that are more like tapas on a stick/skewer). The one thing I am disappointed about is that we checked out the online menu before coming and saw that late night happy hour was advertised and would start at 9 pm...but when we were seated and given the menu, it said "coming soon" and our waiter told us it would be a few months maybe before they start that. To be honest, the whole reason we made a reservation so late was to catch the "late night happy hour" which didn't happen. We were a little bummed about that, but it was definitely a cute, new place to try.

We went right when they opened at five. The restaurant looked gorgeous with the sun going down, lighting up the burgundy(?) curtains. They had lit candles to add to the lighting. The actual lights had a soft glow. The music was perfectly loud, covers of older songs. It felt like a modern version of a prohibition jazz bar. My friend said they thought it was a place the mafia would go. The You're a Star Milk punch was sweet and strong. I absolutely loved the Tomato Gimlet, it was like a caprese martini. deliciously savory and paired with the Cesar Carpaccio so well that I would have licked the plate. The octopus was perfectly cooked, I think slicing it was an excellent idea to make sure the thicker pieces cooked at the same time as the tips. The oil had delicious flavor and the potatoes were tender. The Sparrow Martini was clever. I liked the "birdseed" garnish. It had a variety of nuts and seeds, that weren't basic. Garnished with an olive, herring, and blue cheese olive. Added to the flavor of the Gin. The Highball was balanced well, I like that I ended with it to have a smooth finish. Bartender was knowledgeable, I overheard her talking about wine with a couple at the bar. I saw the manager(?) doing table touches when people were eating, but after an amount of time that made sense to actually see how they enjoyed the meal. Excellent place, unobtrusive service, great date night.

Great new spot for small plates, cocktails, and wine in the north quarter. The interior is trendy while still feeling intimate and cozy. The service was really friendly, although a little slow, but will attribute that to the restaurant being newly opened! The food was great, we especially loved the pan con tomate and the arroz negro - two must tries. The cocktail menu has some interesting modern plays on classic recipes that I'm looking forward to trying, and the wine list has something for everyone. Highly recommend checking out Sparrow, looking forward to coming back and trying more of the food and cocktail menus!

My wife and I made an early evening reservation at Sparrow for the second day of their soft opening, and we can't wait to return! The staff seemed to have a little bit of nervous energy (which I would expect for any soft opening), but they had no need to be nervous as they all did a great job and took wonderful care of us. We started with a couple of cocktails. I got the Highball Martini and thought it was a wonderfully refreshing drink, perfectly balanced. For food, we ordered the Mushroom "Pate" and the Say Cheese (cheese plate). This was a great combo because we were able to mix and match the cheeses with the pate. When we return we're excited to try some of the other vegetarian options! We were seated at a low table with comfy chairs and loved the chill ambiance. The music and decor make such a great environment for a nice date night. We'll return very soon!

The Good Salt Group has done it again and opened a fabulous new spot in the North corner downtown. We were lucky enough to be invited to a preview event and it was wonderful. The vibe here is very different than their other restaurants. Small and intimate with a great selection of custom cocktails, wine and small plates to share. The interior is so well designed, chic and comfortable. You could easily host an event here or have an intimate evening for two. The cocktails are solid, but the star was certainly the food. The beef carpaccio Caesar was delicious. They seared it a little bit for those who are nervous about carpaccio, it certainly added to the flavor. And the tuna and salmon and crudo was simple, but perfect, the flavors were excellent. Service was good for a new spot, but definitely they're still working out some of the kinks. Glad we stayed late enough to hear the music vibe change and the disco ball get turned on. It was amazing, such a vibe! Can't wait to come back and watch this place grow into another staple for the downtown Orlando foodie scene!

Food and service was so good! Ambiance was great and it was a really cool looking bar. You have to get the tomato gimlet it was truly the best cocktail! I am not even a huge fan of gin and i really enjoyed it.

Sparrow wine bar was so much fun! We went during a girls night and the vibes were perfect. Order a few things that were all delicious. The tuna and salmon crudo melted in our mouths while the focaccia had so much flavor. We also had some classic fries with an amazing truffle salt! It was a great place to start and service was on point. We received most of our choices by recommendation from our server. It's definitely a great place for a date night or girls night out. Can't wait to go back again soon!

A great place for a small convo meeting, getting together with friends or sitting at the bar. The food is beyond bar food. The wine and caviar list..... should say it all. Ive been there more than a handful of times and my guests love it and a few of my friends and I keep going back.

Cute little wine bar/restaurant in N Downtown. The food tapas style but are a decent size for most items that you do not have to go crazy ordering. Service, as with every Good Salt restaurant was impeccable!

I heard about The Sparrow through social media, and since I've enjoyed several of their sister restaurants, I had high expectations. Walking in, I felt transported to a Parisian café. The ambiance was quaint, and I loved the cozy alcove seating areas. My friend and I ordered cocktails and three tapas to share, and each one exceeded expectations. My personal favorite was the focaccia bread with crumbled blue cheese. It was garlicky, cheesy, and served warm, which made it absolutely delicious. The flavors across all the dishes were outstanding, and with so many other options on the menu, I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more. Our waitress was incredibly accommodating and offered thoughtful suggestions for both food and drinks based on what we were looking for.

I came to the soft opening with my folks. I was a little worried that coming for dinner would miss the mark- that this place was more of a tapas and wine bar. We had a backup plan to go to Reyes if we didn't like the menu. Well, we were pleasantly surprised and left stuffed! We were seated at a table with velvety soft chairs! I looked around and saw all the tables have various chairs. We had the grey velvet ones- very nice. Service was stellar- starting from the host seeing our arrival and opening the front door for our entry, to the servers and busboys making frequent rounds. The managing partner also came to our table to chat. Nice touch! I ordered a mocktail for mom, which she loved, and I had a few cocktails throughout - the milk punch, their sazerac, and their gimlet. All were good. I wanted the sazerac a bit colder though. We started with the Jambon (I would not recommend, because it's boring, the cheese isn't that spreadable on the veggies and there is way too much butter.) It's a glorified crudite plate with some ham and toasted bread. Next up was the Caesar carpaccio. The Caesar crumb topping was awesome. I wished for a few more capers to add a little more salt. The filet au poivre was cooked perfectly. Texture was like a dry aged steak. Good portion, about 4-5 ounces. Sauce was a bit salty. Loved that they sliced it for us. The pasta vodka was fantastic. A little spicy from the chili oil, good sized portion, saucy, but the diced ham was too salty. The sole meunière was fantastic. It was a huge portion- dinner sized. The arroz negro came with a large prawn on top. The rice was good because they blended in some toasted quinoa for texture. The prawn was great but the chopped up pieces had too much old bay style salty seasoning. The mushroom "pate" was a star. I wish it was served warm instead of cold but the flavor was spot on. We wiped that plate clean with the accompanying bread (it is the same bread as jambon dish). I forgot to order the fries! Oh well, next time. We had seen pictures of the chocolate cake prior to arrival so we agreed to have that. It did not disappoint. It was "Japanese" to me in the sense of the textures and it wasn't overly sweet. I also added the ice cream, which I would not recommend. It's nothing special. Although it is likely homemade and you can see the vanilla throughout, it was called burnt but I don't know why? The chocolate was solidified on top like one of those at home toppings but I'd say the ice cream was not special nor memorable. They might consider adding cornflakes to the chocolate for a crisp crunch like fried ice cream or maybe making the "burned" part more noticeable? Like dry ice? I dunno, but I would skip that dish. The menu has a page dedicated to tea party but I can't figure out how to find the dates or reserve online. So maybe I'll have to call. Me and the girls would love to do that. Overall- we were pleasantly surprised to enjoy a nice a la carte style dinner. Plates came out in reasonable time. Some were very salty. Service was stellar. Played and silverware were changed as needed throughout. Drinks were fantastic and that chocolate cake was so good. The wine list looks great but I was in the mood for cocktails since no one else was drinking. We will be back. Thank you!

The interior is so cute and very aesthetically pleasing! It's a small cozy space with outdoor seating as well. It almost reminds me of a speakeasy bar in a way. The drinks, food and service were all great! Would recommend making a reservation in an advance. We went on a Saturday night and got lucky and were able to snag seats at the bar right away.

We came for the first time for drinks and dinner on Friday night. Although small, the spot is well decorated and the service was impeccable, we never had an empty water glass. Our server did a great job explaining the menu and making great recommendations. Our cocktails were unique and well made. The food is tapas style and was all wonderful but we especially loved the Caesar carapaccio. When the sun goes down, they turn down the lights and turn on the disco ball. I will definitely be back.

10/10! Service, ambiance, food, drinks, and vibes were all impeccable. Highly recommend the fries with caviar dip & the rigatoni alla vodka. The menu has lots of variety and our server Ben was personable and knowledgeable - all of the staff helps each other out which is nice. We can't wait to go back!

Sparrow Wine Bar has completely ruined all other dining experiences for me--and honestly, I'm not even mad about it. The carpaccio and focaccia had no right being that good. I'm considering writing it into my will. We also had the "Sparrow Martini" as well as the "You're a Star Milk Punch" cocktail. The staff treated us like royalty and we were greeted by the chef as well. In short: Sparrow isn't just a wine bar. It's a life-altering, martini-and-carpaccio-fueled emotional experience. Go now. Thank me later.

Sparrow greatly exceeded my expectations in every possible aspect. The space itself is giving equal parts seductive speakeasy and upscale cocktail lounge. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly, knowledgeable service that set the tone for what we could expect from the overall atmosphere and eats. We went on a whim after not being able to make a reservation, and were told there would be a wait but lucked out and got seated within about 5 min. I highly recommend you make a reservation, as both the bar and the inside seating are reservation only. Trust me, it's worth it! The vibes? Immaculate. Think plush, moody interiors, soft lighting, and a feeling of exclusivity that's elevated even further when the disco ball spins to life at 9pm. Pair that with Studio 54-inspired beats and you've got a cocktail-fueled dreamscape perfect for a date night or a stylish night out with the gals. Now let's talk drinks. The dirty martini? The best I've ever had, no exaggeration. They make the brine in-house and hand-stuff the olives. It had the perfect salinity, with a hint of heat on the finish that totally elevated it. As for the food? JUST WOW. Every bite was a standout. The Caesar Carpaccio was delicate yet flavorful, the Soft Shell Crab (a special that night) was perfectly flavorful and crisp, and the "Say Cheese" board was decadent, especially after we added the honeycomb and olives. And don't skip dessert: the Sparrow Chocolate Cake was absolutely worth every last bite. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance: music at the right volume for conversation, the most ambient lighting, and an energy that feels intimate but electric. Definitely ask for the corner table with the loveseat and cross your fingers you get Leslie as your server! She took such great care of us and gave the best recommendations! Truly a 10/10. A hidden gem I'll be returning to VERY soon.

The short rib pasta was to die for. I can't wait to go back. It's so fresh (homemade noodles) and the beef is so soft. Drinks are delicious and the service is outstanding

Make a reservation! I can not empathize this enough! The venue is small and intimate but absolutely lovely. If you don't have a reservation they will offer you an outside table. I will definitely be returning to experience the food and drinks and update my review

The Most Delish. 10/10. This was an amazing experience and some of the best food we have had in Orlando. There wasn't a single dish that we didn't love. The vibes are immaculate. Our server was great and very informative.

Sparrow Wine Bar has a cozy vibe, a great wine selection, and delicious small plates perfect for sharing. The pan con tomate with white anchovies was simple yet packed with flavor, and the mushroom pâté was rich and earthy--definitely a standout. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxed evening with good wine and bites.

Amazing Tapas and cocktails. Great options of wine. The service as always is great no complaints. The ambiance is chill, cozy, beautiful decor, soft music that is at the right volume to be able to have a conversation. Absolutely recommend, must try lounge in downtown.

I think their marketing team is killing it on IG, but the con to that is our expectations as a customer. Booked a 5:30 pm table Saturday, and surprise surprise i was running late because of an accident on i-4. We called to let them know we'd be 20 mins late and whew that was not an easy phone call.... From the phone call we were just considering not going. When we got there we asked to be moved from the table that sits next to the bathrooms and the kitchen. Our table was the only table with a reserved sign so I thought it would be easy to switch to a non reserved table but no, not easy at all.....funny enough i started working on my Yelp review and then we were suddenly moved when she noticed what i was doing. When we were finally moved we were informed "that another reservation comes in at 7, will you be done by then?"........ im going to spoil it now , we did not in fact get done within an hour of being sat because we chose not to rush and tried to enjoy the ambiance. Which is the highlight of this place, very cute and cozy but wouldn't recommend anything from the menu. Also all the tables we suggested to sit at never were sat. I proceeded to watch a couple that looked similar to me and noticed the host stand told them no tables were available and told them to sit at the bar... i hate to assume that bias is showing up but it really felt that way with the way i was treated. Our waitress however was great! She recommended a marvelous wine that i now have to buy for my home. I tried a variety of things and i just couldn't determine where the food menu was focused.... One waiter said Spanish style Italian.... But they have salmon and tuna crudo, so that's cool. It's very close to downtown so we ended up going elsewhere for food because the veggies and extra hard bread didn't soak up all the wine we drank. Id recommend this place if you just needed to start the night early with some wine and chatting before your real plans for the evening.

This restaurant is such a gem! Everything from the atmosphere to the expertly prepared dishes and amazing wine/cocktail selection was beyond impressive! Our dining experience was navigated by Celeste, she was perfectly attentive and so knowledgeable about their offerings and guided such a memorable culinary experience!

The food and ambiance were great! The tomato gimlet is a must try! We also loved the Caesar carpaccio, focaccia bread, and rigatoni verde. The disco ball adds a nice touch for atmosphere at night.

My spouse and I visited Sparrow during their soft open period and as with other Good Salt spots, it did not disappoint. The vibe is great, with really good music, the lighting is dim and the decor is funky and beautiful. Great cozy and intimate spot for a date night. We sat at their small bar area and had a couple of drinks and some snacks. The fries were shoestring and a great little snack. The pan con tomate was small, but tasty. I saw someone's pasta dish and it looked phenomenal. The Tomato Gimlet was amazing, a great savory gin drink. My husband had an old fashioned which he said was great. Teddy and Leah were behind the bar, and they were friendly and knowledgeable. We asked Teddy to make a couple cocktails for us, letting us know what we liked and he made some great cocktails. However, when the bill arrived, we discovered of the drinks he made for us came out to $24! Considering that the most expensive cocktail on their drink menu was $20, this did not sit well with me. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we will return, sticking to the drink menu next time.

I totally recommend ordering the Caesar carpaccio and more than one of the tomato gimlets!

Sparrow is exactly what DTO needed! Since moving here 7 years ago after living in 3 major cities, I've always said downtown needs to step it up with the restaurants and bars.....thank you Good Salt Co.! The atmosphere is classy and sophisticated with beautiful decor that still feels comfortable (much like their other restaurants). Seating consists of small tables and high tops along with a 6 person bar. The food menu is small, with more appetizers than entrees listed. My husband and I shared the mushroom "pate" which was tasty and for entrees, I had the Lumache Alla Vodka and my husband had the Rigatoni Verde. Both were very good with lots of flavor, however the pasta was slightly overcooked. The wine list is extensive containing wines from around the world. They are a full bar and have lots of cocktails to choose from as well (the Tomato Gimlet was unexpectedly delicious!) Overall, it was a great experience and imagine we will frequent Sparrow often.

Sparrow is a very well designed, small, and very intimate wine bar. We started with Say Cheese and Pan Con Tomate, the Say Cheese was excellent. It was a decently large portion, I do wish it came with slightly more bread or some sort of cracker to match the amount of cheese that is given. The Pan Con Tomate was decent, it was not something I would order again but it was nice to try. Their selections of wines were good but the craft cocktails were better. The Tomato Gimlet was so interesting and was easily the best item of the night. For entrees we ordered the Au Poivre and Sole. Both were very good and seasoned well. Celeste did a great job as our server and we will make sure to ask for her in the future.

I absolutely LOVED Sparrow! My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and I truly love the drinks and oh my...the food! I didn't expect to experience such delicious bites! I am still dreaming of the Basque Cheesecake- divinity in action! Then there's the atmosphere...fantastic! Would highly recommend coming back. Actually, I'll be there with my girlfriends this week to introduce them to it, I want this to be our regular place - it's that great

Was fantastic a week ago, they were the new star and were riding high. What we saw tonight was not confined to just our table. If real looking positive reviews are being posted we might give this place another try in six months. At present we are very disappointed and won't recommend it to friends right now.

I enjoyed the ambience and the drinks. I think it's a good place to start for a night out. Our server was so friendly and educated on the menu. I would love to go back one day to try the full menu.

Ambiance was very nice and intimate for a date night. The host and waitress were extremely nice, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. All the food and drinks came out quickly. Would strongly recommend the mushroom pate and the rigatoni verde.
