This , quiet, beautiful restaurant has an ambiance of intimacy and old school glamour . The service is 5 plus stars and the selection of dishes varied with something for everyone . I had the duck with rice which was superb. The special dessert, an orange fondue / sorbet was not to my taste but all other dishes were delicious.

This speakeasy restaurant is truly a hidden gem—quite literally. Finding the entrance is part of the fun: there’s no obvious door, just a bell to ring. From there, someone discreetly guides you through what seems like a storage room and kitchen, setting the tone for a unique and intimate dining experience. The interior is a beautiful blend of classic elegance and modern flair, thanks to the thoughtful art pieces that add personality to the space. The ambiance is warm, stylish, and a little mysterious—perfect for a special night out. Service was top-notch: attentive, professional, and smooth from start to finish. The food was a standout. We enjoyed mushroom croquettes, a tomato salad with stracciatella, fresh ceviche, tender beef ribs, and tuna. Each dish was well-executed, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While the wine pairing was decent, it didn’t quite reach the same heights as the food, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. All in all, this place offers more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Definitely one to remember and recommend.

Fantastic!!! The restaurant is hidden behind bar with a secret door and tunnel, very fun and mysterious experience. We went for lunch for 3 people and to share the dishes. All the things we ordered are seasonal, creative, artistic presented, carefully balance the layers of taste of different ingredients. The wine choice is amazing. For cocktail the wasabi flavor is super creative and surprisingly great. The service is excellent, elegant and professional.

Spectacular food, exemplary service, ambience, atmosphere. The cocktail bar sets the scene before you are escorted to the discreet restaurant entrance where you are admitted after giving the password. Great novelty value and you are made to feel special and exclusive. Terrific place!

Superbly designed food menu and the staffs were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Kudos to both Alejandro and Alex for the good service. Recommended good wine pairings and very attentive to the table

The hidden restaurant is really cool, the ambience is beautiful and relaxing and service is spot on. The drinks we ordered were very well made and the dishes were good, although different than we had imagined. The only downer is the price, really too high.

Google
This speakeasy restaurant serves excellent services and food, the waitresses are very knowledgeable of the food, give great recommendations to the clients, I truly enjoy my experiences at this restaurant, the food is fantastic, we made a reservation through Fork site and received 50% discount on all the food. The price is very good for what’s worth. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Barcelona. This place has all kind of liquor, not a drink you can’t find here. Must try “ drive me crazy” cocktails.

Google
Such a fun speakeasy! Started with a serving of olives and a mussel amuse bouche. I'm quite allergic to mussels so they took it away but surprised me with a tuna sashimi version. Very nice! I ordered the Wasabi Martini and it was absolutely excellent. Dying to recreate it at home! Hubs ordered a Blanton's Old Fashioned, which was amazing just from the bourbon alone! IYKYK For the meal, we ordered the guacamole to start. Awesome guac if you are a connoisseur! I ordered the Calaf eggs with fois, which was very good but served over French fries. Maybe I missed that on the menu. Would have preferred it without the fries but it tastes fine. Hubs was happy to eat my extra fries. He ordered the carbonara, which he orders everywhere and said it was one of the best he's ever had!

Yelp
Came back here for a repeat- the cocktail, the service, the ambiance. It did not disappoint. Got the same drink made by the same bartender. Ty is place is in my regular rotation when in Barcelona!

Yelp
Great martini bar. Old wood panels and couches. It has the classic feel as if Alain Delon would walk in any moment. Wish they had anchovies for my martini, but not a lot of places have it unless they are serving a Caesar salad.

Yelp
This is easily the best meal and best cocktails I've had on my visit to Barcelona. The establishment stocks dozens of different type of alcohol. So it's a great place to try different brands of your booze of choice. I counted over 40 bottles of gin. All cocktails are made to perfection, I had the dry gin martini and 3 custom made cocktails with gins I've never heard of before. All were spectacular. The service was top notch and the bar as well as the Speakeasy restaurant are super classy and sexy. The patrons are mature and moneyed. And the atmosphere is sexy, classy and laid back. We had oysters, croquettes, suckling pig, mushroom ravioli, and tuna sashimi all were exceptional quality dishes prepared to perfection. This meal was long, luxurious and fun, and I would gladly come back here again.

Yelp
I really have no words for bars in Barcelona. They're just on another level and they truly want you to have a great experience. I have heard about Dry Martini and since it was near my hotel, I thought I'll give it a try. It's a great spot with a lot of character. It's elegant, but there's an element of spunky to it. I ordered the Moon Rock first and wow! The presentation was amazing. It was like an art piece and I was not expecting that. I ordered The Pray as the next drink and again...the presentation! The drinks were light and they were a tad sweet, just a tad. But I heard that people in Spain like their drinks on the sweeter side so that was something I had to get used to and I didn't mind it. I was truly impressed by this bar and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona!

Yelp
You don't get ranked the #59 best bar in the world by accident. This is your classic, old-school cocktail bar with a professional staff and chill, laid-back vibe. I've had 2 martini's in my life--both of them here. First visit I did the Vesper because...James Bond. Got the upgraded version that came with a chunk of parmesan cheese. Loved it and loved the combination. Second trip was the classic Dry Martini--with the Oxley upgrade. Colleagues all got martini's as well. The dirty martini was very good. Mescal martini was potent and powerful. The Gibson was great if you're into the little onion with your olive. Sadly, both times we've been here we were a little crunched for time with dinner reservations so we only had one round and didn't have a chance to soak up the atmosphere for more than 30-45 minutes. Want to go back when I can absorb it a little more--although 2 rounds or more at this place and doing much more for the next hour or so could be tough! #MartiniDrinkerWobble

Yelp
Good late night bar. Did not require reservations. Nice menu of creative drinks. The Fugu was a group favorite. Nice atmosphere...not too loud, comfortable seating. Only issue...they need more staff. Drinks took a while to be delivered. The poor server was taking care of the whole bar and the outside seating, doing the best he could.

Yelp
Such a classy and elegant bar in Barcelona that will still let you join at the bar even if you're just passing through. The bartenders dress nicely and they make great quality drinks. Prices aren't bat at all either for what they offer as well. Make a stop here if you're in Barcelona and love a world-class bar.

Yelp
Cool old world bar with white jackets and all. The menu has classics and rifs on classics but also things from left field. Service wasn't great. Ambiance was great, loved the old bottles everywhere. A different speed, but I'd come back back.

Yelp
Best martini. I don't drink gin but I loved the martins here and I got a certificate for drinking, my parents will be so proud!!

Yelp
I discovered this bar on the list of the best bars in the world. It was ranked as number 74 for 2018. I have visited 10 of the top places on the list so my expectations were rather high. I came with a group of friends (we were all American, Canadian and Australian) and I quickly realized most of the bar was too (when there aren't many locals, this is usually a bad sign to me). It's a swanky, classy, throwback kind of bar. Made me think of the heyday of cocktail culture. For that I give it a star. Solid cocktail menu and for being so upscale their prices weren't outrageous. Lots of standards options with a few notable additions. I appreciated their nod to Tommy's in San Francisco (also on the best bars in the world list) by creating the Tommy's Margarita. There is the Martinez martini as an homage to the theory that martinis originated in Martinez, California. I ordered the Vesper, which was fantastic. Again another star. This is where my stars stop because the service while prompt ruined the whole experience for me. Our server was prompt and attentive, too much so, and it immediately started feeling very high pressure sales. Our server tried to upsell us on just about every food item on the menu. And when it came time to pay he asked how much I would like to tip (I paid the bill for everyone). I asked if this was customary and his response was no but a lot of British and Americans prefer to. Had our server not been so sleazy and condescending we would have likely left a tip. Overall while in Barcelona I frequented plenty of other great bars, I would not return here.

Yelp
I'm personally not a big fan of your typical dive-y kind of bars so after seeing pictures and reading reviews for the Dry Martini, I was sold. A wonderfully classy atmosphere with sharply dressed waiters and bartenders knowledgeable in how to best enjoy the various drinks they serve. Four of us came in and we ordered dry martinis as well as a mango martini blended drink and they were all terrific. They provided our two dry martini drinkers chunks of Parmesan cheese to have with them. According to the waiter, taking a bite of the cheese activates the umami flavor receptors on your tongue which allows you to experience a martini in a whole new way. Funnily enough, both of them had opposite opinions on the flavor after having the cheese with one really enjoying the new flavor profile and the other preferring it without. The lighting is not too dim and just right for the kind of ambience the bar exudes. I've read that the tapas selection there is great but since we had already eaten prior to coming in, we elected not to force ourselves and just enjoy the drinks. TL;DR - Classy atmosphere with great drinks - Open until 2:30 A.m. - Waiters and Bartenders are all knowledgeable, friendly and are happy to answer questions and give recommendations on drinks depending on your preferences - Prices are a bit on the higher side, but well worth the service and quality you'll be getting

Yelp
Super old school bar like I've walked into 1920 era. The bartender was a 80yr gentleman in a white tux. The bar is stocked full of a lot of rare & old gin & other spirits. Love the vibe and the nostalgia. Also the martinis I had were just perfect! Including the best of best vesper martini. James Bond would approve.

Yelp
I felt like I was in an episode of mad men. Our group of 3 came in on a Sunday night- off the bustling streets of 2016 Barcelona we were instantly transported to a simpler time, maybe circa 1960's. The waiters and bartenders all wore tuxedos and all had just a little bit of fun "I know I'm the best bartender ever attitude"... And they are!! The waiter brought us out English menus and we ordered- I started with the coconut rhapsody cocktail- it came out with a presentation that knocks your socks off and a strong flavor almost masked by the creamy fresh coconut taste. My wife asked if they could make a drink that wasn't on the menu and he gave her a look back to say -- well than at least give us a challenge. She asked for a rum based Hawaiian type drink and she was served a beautiful looking Mai tai ish drink. Our friend ordered the classic dry martini and it just tasted like James Bond. Classy, smooth, stiff etc. We had a couple more drinks all amazing and then drunkenly stumbled outside back into reality. This is one of the best cocktail bars I have ever been to.... The next night we discovered the 2nd best cocktail bar ever right across the street-- solange. Make sure to go to both!!

Yelp
Ranked #19 on the Worlds Best Cocktail Bars list. And it doesn't disappoint , with phenomenal cocktails with great bartenders. Little bit of a hooker vibe , but hey, it's all good. The atmosphere is mostly wood , and it's sexy and chic.

Yelp
This is like a place out of the movies, love the ambiance, and most importantly, how the drinks are crafted. Amazing cocktails the way they should be made. Must order the original martini!!

Yelp
Looking for a special treat for our last night in Barcelona I came across Dry Martini which, the website claimed, one of the best 10 bars in the world. An exaggeration I thought but how wrong I was. I booked in online. There was a minimum charge, online, of 25 euros per person. That would be no problem as we were going to have a few drinks and, to my mind, a reasonable request. On arriving, the experience started. A wonderful experience that will stay in our minds for the rest of our lives. The servers and barmen were so knowledgeable, yet not condescending. Explaining everything in a very friendly way. I was told, by a friend to only order gin martinis (I usually drink vodka martinis). I had three wonderful cocktails made with the particular gin I chose. An accompaniment of a dish of parmesan cheese shaved from a massive block was placed on the table. Delicious. My partner ordered a caiprinha cocktail and states it was the second best she had tasted (I make the best she says *smile*). We ordered tapas of wonderful croquettes and two skewers of salmon. Totally delicious. As were the four oysters that I had, served on a bed of crushed ice. My final martini was slightly different. Going against my friends wishes I ordered a vodka based martini. Asked which vodka I preferred left me in a quandry, such a choice. He asked if I would like to try Beluga gold ???? MY eyes lit up. What a good choice, that guy deserves a medal. It was exquisite. The finale, to some normal, was the doorman beckoning a taxi. A touch that we aren't used to. The whole evening was a wonderful experience. I will try their London bar at some point in time. OK, a little more expensive than most but, truly, well worth every penny spent. A big thank you to everyone for the experience.

Yelp
Beautiful, comfortable, quiet bar. My friends and I went early afternoon one weekday and we were some of the only customers. Our waiter/bartender was very solicitous but not overly so. My martini was perfect and my friends all enjoyed their cocktails very much too. Highly recommended for a cozy atmosphere. Also, if you get a dry martini they will handstamp a certificate for you that says what number martini you got, which is great for cocktail nerds.

Yelp
If you google cocktail bar in Barcelona and dont find this on top, you should probably consider putting in a claim. This is as close as you get to a cocktail bar by my measurements. It feels like you are in a old fashioned library with lots of couches and arm-chairs. The service is provided by old schooled bartenders and waiters that has been in the game for a while. Occasionally the waitress show up with some treats and cookies to keep you smiling. Cocktails are great, if not greatest. You should try out their different styled mojitos or ask the bartender for a tip. Make a stop here to either start off or top off your night, i doubt you will regret it.

Yelp
To be honest, BCN in not cocktail-centric kinda town in a true sense...but Dry Martini IS the exception to that rule. This a gentleman's bar filled with gentlemen from the neighborhood who've probably been coming here since it opened 30+ years ago. But that's not to say it's a stuffy bar, not at all, just classic. As such you can find all the classics here including the namesake with dozens & dozens of different types of gin. If you're Vodka kinda martini drinker, this is not the bar for you. I went with a Last Word & Aviation, two classics made with care & attention to detail. And all drinks are served exquisitely on a silver platter by bartenders in white coats whose average age has to be 60+. And each round comes with a different bar snack like almonds, chips or octopus in rice. When you're tired of all the 'sex on the beach' type cocktail offerings at those hole in the walls, step into this stately gem for a decidedly different experience.

Yelp
We've been to several bars and no one knew how to make a dry martini in this town. Walked by this establishment on our way to apartment and the name said it all, they must have a dry martini! The bartenders take their jobs very seriously, dressed handsomely in their white jackets, stirred not shaken. Hence, you get one of the best martinis I've ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. I love the old school feel of this bar, everybody was dressed up. Ah, this must be the way people drank back in the day. Want cheap wine? Go to every restaurant in Barcelona. Want a really, really, well made dry martini, come here.
google avatar

Yelp
Had the best drinks of my life here! So cute and tasty cocktails! I want to come back before I have to leave to try another cocktail
google avatar

Ty H.

Yelp
Very nice vibe. Bartender was definitely friendly. The dirty martini was outstanding. The downside is that the glasses are small and the bartender gave me a three-quarter's pour. He left the shaker there, which made us think he would add to the pour. But he never did. Unfortunately, the prices do not reflect the small glasses. LOL.

Yelp
Finally I can tell the world about my experience at the Dry Martini! First of all: Congrats Spain with Yelp.es! Woohoo! I must say that the experiences I had at this place, were one of the best during my multiples stays in Barcelona! Not only do you feel like being on a set of a James Bond movie when entering the bar and being welcomed by these fine men in a classic "bar-suit" but also you will be overwhelmed with excellent service. This is just a classical in the hospitality world! Of course we ordered a Martini, not only because we like it but we also wanted to see the numbers go up! That's a fun "game", dear readers. And now the most surprising fact of the location. They have a restaurant! In the back of the venue (through the kitchen), you will find a magnificent room with a few tables. All classical style. Being surrounded by bottles of fine alcohol and sitting at this huge round table, I felt like a Bond-Girl (without the bikini). The service, the wine and the food were excellent! El Jefe came to thank us for our presence and invited us back to the splendid bar to.. of course have a Martini on the way :) Dear visitors, go to experience this venue with dear friends/family, you will not be let down! T'ho prometo

Yelp
Dry Martini is the type of bar you see in movies - old movies. It's sleek, elegant, and classy. Dim lighting, plush fabrics, dark wood. Oh, and the bartenders are total pros. We sauntered in late on afternoon, and were able to snag a spot at the bar. The space itself is quite lounge-y - lots of club chairs and sofas and what not. I can't imagine this is the type of place that would allow crowding. So, we sat at the bar and I ordered a classic Gimlet, my husband had (what else) their signature dry gin martini. Both were delicious - perfect, really. The presentation matched the bar, too. Classic martini glasses (not the ginormous ones we've become accustomed to in the US), a simple garnish and a perfect pour from the shaker right in front of you. Oh, and they present it on a silver tray - talk about posh. This bar was vastly different from any other place I visited in Barcelona. It had a distinctly English vibe and while I really enjoyed it, I was happy to get back to my cava and vino tinto for the rest of the trip. Plus the fact that a drink will run you at least 15 Euros is a little, well, stifling.
google avatar

Katie L.

Yelp
We were lucky to grab a seat right in front of the bartender who was extremely helpful with aiding us in narrowing down what drinks to order. The ambiance is very sleek here and I imagine that this would be the type of venue where you would be able to catch James Bond sipping a martini. A lot of skill and care is taken by the bartender making the drink and I loved being in the front row seat watching him put our drinks together. Make sure to order the pipe whiskey cocktail and you will not be disappointed! The preparation of the drink was very cool to watch and the you actually get to sip the drink as you would smoke a pipe!

Yelp
Exquisitely made, well served cocktails in a cosy and welcoming bar. Great attention to detail from the staff. Keep it basic and go for the signature Dry Martini.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic cocktails in Barcelona. Luis made a great impression on us and made us some incredible drinks. When we visit again we hope to see him. Great vibes and lots of passion going into cocktails at this bar. This is a must see.

Yelp
Dry martini is a smart, upscale bar that serves great cocktails. The staff are friendly, and very helpful. It only gets good reviews because of the tourists who come through (who can't find the other better places nearby) I have been a couple of times, and the first time was ok, but upon a second and third visit, I realised that there was nothing more that what I already saw. When compared to other bars of the genre, I feel it comes up a little short. I felt it a tad overpriced and lacked real character (although it was not for lack of trying). The menu's are cheap to look at and bring the class down a notch. All in all, it tries very hard, but missed the mark. Best try somewhere else nearby.
google avatar

Rossanna T.

Yelp
You need a password to get in because it's so clandestine. The ambiance was great. The bar was stunning. The Martini cocktails, food, and service was phenomenal!! One of the best restaurants I've been to.
google avatar

Faith A.

Yelp
So happy to have stumbled upon this bar when we were recently in Barcelona. It was super close to our hotel which made it easy to celebrate our last night of vacation in BCN there too. This is as close as you get to a true cocktail bar as others have said. It has that old speakeasy vibe. The service is provided by old school bartenders and waiters that has been in the game for a while, can make kick ass drinks, and give you an awesome experience. I actually think that these were some of the best drinks that I have ever had. I would recommend the Gin tonic personally... best I have ever had. If I could give this place 6 stars or more, I definitely would.
google avatar

Christopher K.

Yelp
Amazing vibe, James Bond kind of feel to it. Would recommend, the martinis are Great! Top 10 bar in the world

Bradley L.

Yelp
A friend and I went here to get a good drink. We speak very little Spanish, but we decided to order water first and made it abundantly clear that we just wanted tap water (not bottled). The sever brought us bottled anyway, and then charged us €6.50 ($8) for each small bottle. Very disappointed, we drank the most expensive water of our lives, paid, and then left without ordering a real drink.

Yelp
The Dry Martini is located across the street from the Harry's Bar Barcelona, but do not let yourself be fooled: Team Martini only live by its innovative take in the Dry Gin Martini. Unlike a Bond movie, you won't have to choose between "shaken" or "stirred" -- it will be frozen in granite fashion, thus ensuring you'll enjoy a fresh drink on the long run. I had a Wasabi Martini and it was a mean kind of heaven :) Also, for the more festive and sweet-inclined of you, it also offer similar takes on Mojitos. It offers a correct amount of tapas to assist your stomach in the process, too pricy to ensure a full meal, but enough to keep you going. The place was a real treat in both the menu and the very retro / classy decorum. However, for a Friday night, I was a bit off-put by the older and somewhat unclassy (think 80s all-jeans bearing) crowd, which was quite a contrast to the rest of the place and neighborhood.
google avatar

Sophie P.

Yelp
A great old-fashioned place for some peace and quiet with great cocktails. It's the best cocktail bar in town and they know how to make some great cocktails. Dry Martinis, old fashioned, and even their pouring of the beer is #Flawless. It's a definite must go to enjoy a nice relaxing evening with a good cocktail in hand.
google avatar

Maverick R.

Yelp
Best bar I went to in Barcelona. It's one of the 50 top bars in the world and you can see why from the perfection that goes into the making of just one drink. The bartender clearly had a passion for what he did and made sure no detail, shake, or stir was missed. Nice atmosphere, amazing drinks, no other bar came close in Barcelona. They also had patio seating which was a plus. The Geisha Heart, Wasabi Mule, and Jamaridon (spelling?) were all excellent.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Beautiful bar in the city. Fun knowledgeable bartenders and finely made cocktails in a posh but not stuffy environment. Gets pretty rowdy late night. Love it!
google avatar

April N.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE this bar! It's one of my favorite bars in Barcelona. Their martinis are good (of course) .. but their mojitos are also really yummy! Think.. "Bond... James Bond" ... that's the feeling you get when you walk in. The waiters and bartenders in their little white suits are so cute! Their service is really good... they don't skimp on the alcohol either. It's like being taken back in time.. where people actually care about the quality of the drinks and the overall experience of the customer. The place is real fun to hang out in!

Rick W.

Yelp
Great bar in Barcelona, awesome atmosphere, very friendly knowledgeable staff. They served the best Cosmo I've ever had. The owner has his own book on mixology and they offer to teach patrons how to properly mix drinks (still need to try that). A little pricey, but at DRY, you get what you pay for. Still need to go back and try more Martini's and the food looked good Cheers
google avatar

Sunshine N.

Yelp
This place is a must. We came to Barcelona and through our hotel concierge gave us this spot. This is a must...they have all these exotic cocktails that I've never seen and the presentation of each martini I ordered had me like wow!! The mixologists are all dressed in white lab coats. It's an upscale spot with a high end and older clientele which is more our speed. Definitely recommend this spot
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
loved this spot! had to coco martini which was frozen and deeeelicious (and really packs a punch). so fun! would love to come back next time in barcelona!

Morgen J.

Yelp
Spain does ice well, unlike the rest of the EU, so a cocktail has a fighting chance. And this place delivers! Cool speakeasy vibe even though the lights are up too high - as every where in Spain. The quality and strength of drinks made is spot on, service is friendly and proper. No downside here unless you don't like silly French pop from the 50's to today....

Christian D.

Yelp
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. A bit pricey but gorgeous. Worth a drink for the experience.
