We arrived at Costa Farilya Hotel by car, and having an indoor parking area was a big plus, especially in this hot weather. We headed straight to reception, and even though we arrived a few hours early, they kindly allowed us to check into our room—definitely a nice gesture.
Our room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. However, it was located on the basement floor, and although it had a small patio, the underground setting might feel a bit claustrophobic to some. Still, overall, the room was pleasant and well-equipped.
After settling in, we went straight to the pool. It’s conveniently located, only about a one-minute walk from our room. The pool size was just right and we really enjoyed it. Later, with a short 3-4 minute walk and a few steps down, we reached the beach area. The beach consists of a large pier with plenty of sunbeds and even a shower area. It was quite busy—perhaps because people from outside the hotel can also access it—but the atmosphere was still calm and classy. The food and drink service was good, and we ended up spending most of the day there.
In the evening, we took a lovely walk along the seafront promenade between the hotel and the beach, and explored the nearby town. We had dinner at a nice restaurant along the promenade, which was one of the best parts of our stay. Being able to walk around freely and not feeling “stuck” in one place was something we really appreciated.
The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. It was good—simple but sufficient. There weren’t too many options, but everything was fresh and nicely presented.
We truly enjoyed this hotel and its location. Nestled in a calm bay, the sea was peaceful and the scenery was stunning both day and night. The hotel itself is small and boutique-style, but more than enough for a comfortable stay. We also tried the spa and had a full treatment including the hammam, scrub, and massage—it was absolutely amazing and highly recommended.
