A Kaleidoscope of Lights and Water Show The combination of music and lighting creates a truly wonderful audio-visual experience. If you are fortunate enough to visit, be sure to stop and enjoy the exquisite water and light show. A spectacular, dreamlike performance reflecting Singapore's journey to becoming a global metropolis. Under a grand symphony orchestra, history, culture, and modern art collide in a stunning choreography of fountains, vibrant visuals, laser projections, and lava and mist effects. A Kaleidoscope of Lights and Water Show is a free, 15-minute outdoor evening show performed nightly at the Event Plaza. Immerse yourself in the dazzling world of A Kaleidoscope of Lights time and time again.

A very nice sound and light show. It doesn't last very long (like 15 minutes, if I remember correctly). The area gets very crowded during the show so come 10-15 minutes before the start to get a spot with a better view. Access is free.

Spectra – A Light & Water Show at Marina Bay Sands completely exceeded my expectations. It’s a beautiful combination of water jets, colorful lights, music, and laser effects, all set against the stunning night skyline of Singapore. The whole experience felt magical and cinematic. The show lasts about 15 minutes and is totally free. It takes place at the Event Plaza right outside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. If you want a good view, I recommend arriving a bit early. The choreography between the music and the fountain movements is really impressive—the water literally dances to the rhythm, shooting high into the air and spinning with grace. The light projections on the water screens were surprisingly clear, even showing images and story elements. One of my favorite moments was when the lights and music built up together—it gave me goosebumps. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, even with a large crowd watching. Everyone seemed captivated. If you're spending an evening around Marina Bay, don’t miss this show. It’s a relaxing, inspiring way to end the day and a great photo or video opportunity too.

Great free attraction that you could visit while in Singapore. I suggest you to find a good spot and tag the spot 30 minutes before the show start. From what I see, the performance was about the acculturation of singaporean's culture showing by the amusing lighting and water coreo.

The best water light show. My first time that I have a chance to watch it, the feeling is very excited because it gradually brings the audience through music, vibe, and light start by history of Singapore and show unique style of each community in Singapore. For example, china town, little India. I very impressed this show.

Marina Bay Sands was one of the most magical experiences during my trip to Singapore. The show combines fountains, colorful lights, lasers, and music in a beautifully choreographed performance that plays over Marina Bay. It lasts about 30 minutes, and best of all it’s free! I arrived early to get a good spot near the Event Plaza and was amazed by how the water and light effects formed shapes like animals and abstract patterns. The background of Marina Bay’s skyline made it even more breathtaking. The atmosphere was lively but still felt relaxing, with tourists and locals gathering around to enjoy the show. What impressed me the most was how well the visuals and soundtrack synced, creating a dramatic and emotional performance. I recommend going at night for the full effect especially around 8 or 9 PM when the lights are most vivid. It’s a perfect way to end a day of sightseeing in Singapore, and I would definitely watch it again if I return.

Spectra is a free nightly show at Marina Bay Sands featuring amazing light, laser, and water effects set to music—an absolute must-see in Singapore! Shows are held every night at 8:00 PM, lasting about 15 minutes, with additional performances on weekends. For the best views, arrive early and head to the Event Plaza in front of Marina Bay Sands; sitting close to the water’s edge gives you a fantastic perspective of the fountains and lights with the city skyline in the background. Family-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and a great way to end your evening in Marina Bay.

I always love coming to this free show when I am in Singapore. It is so pretty and the background view was amazing. I definitely recommend coming to see this. You can either then head to the shops at MBS, or have a wander at Gardens by the Bay. There are also many places to eat or drink in the nearby area.
