Spectra – A Light & Water Show (Marina Bay Sands) Spectra is a beautifully choreographed light and water show set against the iconic Marina Bay Sands skyline. The combination of fountain jets, colorful projections, lasers, and music creates an immersive experience that is both relaxing and visually impressive. The show is well-paced and easy to enjoy, even from a distance along the promenade. Reflections of the lights on the water add to the atmosphere, making it a great spot for photos and videos. Despite being a popular attraction, the viewing areas are spacious enough to accommodate crowds comfortably. Overall, Spectra is a must-see when visiting Marina Bay. It is free, well-executed, and offers a memorable way to experience Singapore’s night scenery. Highly recommended for first-time visitors and anyone looking for a pleasant evening activity.

Spectra Light & Water Show was absolutely impressive and truly unforgettable. The combination of lights, water, music, and the stunning city backdrop created a magical atmosphere. If you are visiting Singapore, this show is highly recommended and definitely worth your time. The show usually starts at around 8:00 PM, so make sure to arrive a bit early to get a good spot. A wonderful experience not to be missed!

I was here last evening (Christmas eve 2025). Many tourists but not crowded at all. The lights show was nice and the sound system was loud. Certain images projected were not very clear. The whole show was around 12+ minutes. Best part - it's free!

A Kaleidoscope of Lights and Water Show The combination of music and lighting creates a truly wonderful audio-visual experience. If you are fortunate enough to visit, be sure to stop and enjoy the exquisite water and light show. A spectacular, dreamlike performance reflecting Singapore's journey to becoming a global metropolis. Under a grand symphony orchestra, history, culture, and modern art collide in a stunning choreography of fountains, vibrant visuals, laser projections, and lava and mist effects. A Kaleidoscope of Lights and Water Show is a free, 15-minute outdoor evening show performed nightly at the Event Plaza. Immerse yourself in the dazzling world of A Kaleidoscope of Lights time and time again.

A very nice sound and light show. It doesn't last very long (like 15 minutes, if I remember correctly). The area gets very crowded during the show so come 10-15 minutes before the start to get a spot with a better view. Access is free.

My favorites show in singapore, a light and water musical show is so mesmerizing. I always make a time just to watch the show everytime i went to singapore. You can watch on a second show time at 9pm or at 10pm in friday and saturday to avoids crowd.

Google
A stunning free light and water show with music at Marina Bay Sands, about 15 minutes long. Water fountains, mist effects, and lasers are spectacular, especially at night. Arrive 15–20 minutes early for the best view. 8 pm every Sat.

Google
Great free attraction that you could visit while in Singapore. I suggest you to find a good spot and tag the spot 30 minutes before the show start. From what I see, the performance was about the acculturation of singaporean's culture showing by the amusing lighting and water coreo.

Yelp
For what it is it's really great. If you're in the area you can have front seat views of the show. I went to the one at 9pm I believe and there was enough room, not crowded at all. The show lasts about 15 minutes or so. Nice for yourself, a group of friends, and even the whole family.

Yelp
THE BIG: Nightly watershow at the Marina Bay Sands. Times are between 8pm & 9pm. THE BLACK AND WHITE: This was actually a really cool lightshow. It only lasted for 10 minutes but there were nice music and lights that accompanied the water fountains. It reminded me of a Bellagio fountains lite. We were in the back watching the show. My favorite part was the projection of the story onto the mist which is really cool and I never thought that was a thing. It also looked like the people in front got wet from the mist so curious people, be warned. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Free fountain shows are always great. Definitely a must see if you are in the Marina Bay Sands area.

Yelp
Should you come watch Spectra? Yes. Should you sit or stand on the first level because it's closer? ABSOLUTELY NOT. The water mist feels great at first given Singapore's humidity but it really needs a Shamu level warning that you will get wet. Really wet. I ended up moving for the second half of the show which allowed me to enjoy the music and not so much the show because now everyone had their spots. Darn it! Well good thing there are two shows a night hahaha (8pm and 9pm). After watching the show in full at 9pm, it's definitely worth a watch if you're in the Marina Bay Sands area. The music is epic and the coordinated water dancing the light show is pretty neat to welcome in the Singaporean nightlife. Pier can be accessed through the Marina Sands Shopping Center.

Yelp
Spectra how much I love YOU!!!! WOW, what a breathtaking and mindblowing kind of show. This is definitely any type of water show, the music, the colors, the lights, and everything else made this a wonderful show. We went twice and if it wasn't I was sick, we would have gone 4 times. I loved it so much, it made me happy and I got such a positive vibe out if it. This show is located on the water and you can watch it from the main entrance of the Shops at Marina Bay Sands.

Yelp
Having been to Las Vegas for the Bellagio fountain show I didn't think this would be different. But it was. The addition of designs and shapes projected onto the water spray made it an entirely more artistic presentation. We managed to get a front row seat by getting there a little early and sitting in front of the railing. The music and fountain jets were carefully coordinated and beautiful to watch. The different colored lights and mist effect added a dimension to the show that I had not previously seen. Their use of lasers and visual projections were so pretty. We would recommend and see it again.

Yelp
Daily water show coordinated with music and lights, lasers and the surroundings. The musical medley is composed of modern and classical pieces (eg. Ryuichi Sakamoto's Merry Xmas Mr. Lawrence) and moving animation projected over the jets and screens of water. Neatly complex and moving without getting too cliché, even if definitely geared for tourists this show is proper entertainment for all. Easy to find and free, this is proper entertainment for children, adults and even for a date The show runs every evening and is open to the public with seating right at the front of Marina Bay Sands on the Bayfront Avenue.

Yelp
It's closed because of the Coronavirus...??? dumb because cause water parks and beaches are still open???
