My boyfriend and myself went for lunch during our short stay in Tobago. The service was excellent and so was the food. The servers were friendly and accommodating. The view breathless and a clear view of Goat Island and Little Tobago. Loved it and we will definitely be back...

We spent birthday/anniversary here at the inn, it was very peaceful with beautiful views. We took this opportunity to visit little Tobago also. The staff at the inn is very friendly and nice. On another note our phone service was down from 9pm the night to half of the following day. It would have been nice to have local selections on the breakfast menu like roast or fry bake etc.

My friend and I enjoyed a great week's guided diving with Xtra Divers, staying at the Speyside Inn. I had visited the Speyside Inn before and everything was as good as it's ever been.||The accommodation is comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water etc. Mosi nets and coils provided. Clothes pegs and washing line on the balcony were a nice touch.||The dive centre staff are excellent. All worked very well. The diving arrangements are pretty hands on (more like club diving than, say, a liveaboard). On the last day did the local guide not show, but Manager Roberto stepped up and guided that day - he was a great guide on many of our dives.||Roberto and managing partner Debi are doing a fine job. They are into their second year so know lots of the sites and seasonal variations.||The hotel restaurant is very good - we enjoyed good local seafood, freshly prepared. A highlight was curried lionfish with coconut - helping to control these invasive, predatory fish that are now seen on most dives. Indeed, Roberto is keen to make the restaurant sustainable by selecting the menu. So, if you want a lobster, you'll have to go down the road: there are plenty of choices nearby.||The diving was very good - even though recent rain dropped the vis a bit, and then gave rise to some green in the water. The currents were a little less than on previous visits. We dived some amazing sites: the glorious Japanese Garden, Book Ends, Coral Garden, Runaway... to name but a few of the 30+ sites nearby.||We saw rays, turtles, lots of morrays of different kinds, The Biggest Brain Coral, Royal Gramma, octopus, barracuda, tarpon, lobster, shrimps. The reefs and the fishery seem in good shape.||The location is great - easy to get access to the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the Island and enjoy the beaches, restaurants, forest and bird life, and to lime like a local.||Thanks to Roberto, Debi and their team for an excellent holiday.|

We have just returned from a 2 week break staying and diving with the Speyside Inn and what can I say, we had an absolutely spectacular holiday. We were a group of 12 who came as a dive club and we were looked after superbly.|||| ||||Hotel - Lovely hotel, clean and spacious rooms with a beautiful view overlooking the sea. The food was great and we were well looked after by all the staff. In fact, they couldn't do enough for you to help you out.|||| ||||Diving - The dive centre is part of the hotel and again considering we were a fairly big group we were looked after excellently and everything ran smoothly / to plan. We were taken to a variety of excellent / different dive sites and were thoroughly looked after by the dive guides and the boat captain.|||| ||||I can't thanks Jan and Kathi enough for their hospitality. We all had a fantastic holiday and will return again in the near future as a club.|||| ||||Katie xxx

We stayed at the Speyside Inn 17th March for 3 nights after winning a weeks holiday at the Birmingham Dive Show. The rooms were basic but very clean, loved the safe in the wardrobe and the huge key ring. every one was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble, lovely swimming pool in the garden and the food was very nice and reasonable priced. the only thing missing was a kettle so we could have had a cup of coffee first thing in the morning on the balcony listening to the waves if I had known I would have taken a travel one.||Would we stay here again a YES

A wonderfully relaxing location, the sound of the waves to wake up to, go to sleep to and even eat to ! Humming birds visit the garden and this is kept tidy and natural. The food is delicious and creative with ample choice. Roberto and Debbie do what they can to make your stay excellent. Extremely clean.||The diving has got to be ranked amongst the top 6 locations in the world.

When my husband and I spend a week in Speyside Inn it was very quiet. Together with two other people we had the place for ourselves. The dutch couple who manages the place could tell us a lot about the area, where to eat and what to visit. ||||The room was always clean, food was good (little bit pricy though) and the hotel itself blends nicely with the green forest behind it. A quiet, cosy and spacious hotel with a beautiful view and the sound of the calming sea ever present.

Beautiful hotel, next to the Atlantic Ocean. Large, sea view rooms. Everything in Speyside is on small scale, also this hotel. Excellent service, clean rooms and a perfect breakfast. Staff is very helpfull and friendly. ||The restaurant at the hotel service all kinds of meals and drinks, all you need is available. Hot water supply is sufficient. ||Speyside is a small fisher village, with some restaurant options. Make sure to make reservations for dinner around lunch time. ||Diving and snorkling on the reef is a must, a beautiful healthy reef sits in front of the hotel. ||Hiking options are also pleanty available.
