A Guide to Venice’s Islands, From Burano to Lido | Condé Nast Traveler
"Bacan Beach on Sant'Erasmo is a beloved local spot for swimming and relaxation, frequently visited by Venetians seeking a nearby seaside escape." - Jenn Rice
This long sheltered beach has good sand but lots of dead kelp and I did see some jelly's. Certainly not as good as the Lido beaches, but probably not nearly as crowded either. I was there in April and the water was still way to cold to swim. So it was no surprise that the beach was deserted.

This place is really wild and left to the nature. The beach is full of algae, the water has its life. You can see here many little hermit crabs and huge regular crabs.

Super, was will man mehr. Urlaub.
