Noto, Sicily Has All the White Lotus Vibes With None of the Crowds
"Calamosche Beach is a stunning swimming spot near Noto, known for its perfect cove with calm, clear water. It's a 20-minute hike from the parking lot." - Jeffrey Gettleman
Amazing place and not crowded. Feel isolated and calm. Note that entrance fee 3.5 euro per a person and 5 euro for a parking. But I would say it worth visiting with paying for preserving the nature and they also have several working shower booths in paring lot, which was convenient. ~ 15 mins between parking and beach. You would feel more times if there is a strong sun 😎🔥🥵

This was my favourite beach in southern Sicily. Turquoise water and not excessively crowded considering I got there on a Saturday in August at 2pm. There is 15 min walk from the ticket office to the beach but it’s mostly flat. Good shoes would still be helpful as the road is not paved. Despite the walk it’s definitely worth it - it’s actually not much further than some beaches where you have to park some way away. The ticket office controls the traffic (which also means you have to queue and wait at the office during the busy time - we waited around 20 min). I heard someone say they let people through at certain intervals but this didn’t come from an official staff.

Beautiful September visit ... there is approx 1km to walk to the beach from the parking, but it's worth it, the sea was crystal clear and a short extra walk up the little cliff at the edge of the beach takes you into a spectacular cave .. take food, drinks and an umbrella as the spot is wonderfully secluded

Beautiful and secluded beach.
Unfortunately we visited in a cloudy and windy day, so the sea was a bit wavy, but yet the surroundings were beautiful.
We paid €5 to park the car, but this included a small panino. You also have to pay €3,5 to access the beach.
It's a 10 minutes walk, relatively easy. There's also a longer walk up to the villa, but we didn't take it.
I'd definitely consider visiting again in a better day.

A beach nestled in a protected area surrounded by nature. The water is very clear. Access is only possible by car. You'll need to rent a car, and there's a long walk after parking. There's an entrance fee, but it's not expensive. There's no shopping inside. I recommend bringing a snack.

Plus: the water is amazing and the scenery is also.
Negative: parking is 5$ plus entrance 3.5$ per person. You hora walk like 1k 20 min and stairs to get to the beach. At the beach plan for nothing more than swimming and relax in the sand. No food, no drinks, no bathroom…

There are more beaches in this location. All of them are nice, Calamosche (Marianellly beach in the nord from Calamosche is for naturists) has parking with a pub for 5 €, entrance on the beach 3,5 €.Beach is 1,3 km through almost desert from the parking. Beach is about 100m long, protected from both sides by rocks.Safe for children, sandy, clean.Today afternoon cca 60 people.

The Road to get to the parking is very rural and therefore you need to go slow. Parking is 5 euros (fair). Now the walk to the beach is another 1.5km under the scorching sun, be ready for it if you want to carry slot of things.
The beach itself is beautiful, tucked away in between rocks, the water is crystal clear.

turn off the main road & follow a dirt road a few miles to a parking lot. Pay a fee to park then begin on your hike to the beach. Access to the beach is free but definitely a long walk. Approx 25-35 minute walk on a sandy, dirt stretch to get to the water. On a hot day, the sand gets hot, so wearing flip flops or going barefoot can be painful. The beach itself was nice, a tad overcrowded. There's lots of seaweed washed up on shore & in the water but the water is still surprisingly clear. Not the warmest but feels good on a hot day. There are schools of fish swimming so if you have snorkeling gear you might want to bring it
